TONY56: Very good morning to you dejiotus. Can you or any other person pls educate me about the reason for the next auction this Wednesday instead of next Wednesday as is usually the case? Public holidays are anticipated for next week Monday June 26 and Tuesday June 27. That may be the reason for the change of dates. |

deeore: What about if dint pay rprf upfront.. Does it delay the process @40manlappy Honestly, I don't know. Sure there would be an interval between when they request for payment, actual payment is made and when PPR is processed. They will definitely still request that you pay the fee before PPR, so if you have it now you can pay upfront. Otherwise, you can pay later. Let's hear what our seniors have to say |

Moatte: wat's IP1 and NA? #Copied Stages in Canadian PR journey 1st the profile 2nd is ITA 3rd is AOR 4th medicals 5th background 6th ppr 7th COPR 8th landing 9th pr card ======================= These are 3 different stages that majority of the PR applicants in EE will see against Background check in My CIC. IP1 -------- IP1 will be shown when we pass the medical. Some people get this update on the same day along with their medical and some of them couple of days after. CIC agents will do R10, criminality checks during this stage. Once they feel everything is good then they will change it to NA. These things will happen at CIO Office (Centralized Intake Office) NA --------- This stage, our file will be transferred to CPC (Case processing Center) where agents will do eligibility assessments. If they feel everything is okay, then they will provide their recommendation to Visa Officer and same time they will initiate Security Checks. IP2 -------- This status will be seen in my CIC account once Visa Officer starts reviewing or after reviewing all agents recommendations. On the same day PPR request will be triggered if the applicant paid RPRF upfront. These things will be done at CPC office. It is not necessary that every applicant will undergo this process. But majority of the cases, I have noticed the same status. |

Blackbuddy: Hi boss, for me it was Turkish Airlines and I flew with the laptop in my backpack containing all my original certificates, family documents, some personal effects and my kids jackets. It was bulky but I just hung it on my back after it went through the xray screening. I can't recall if it was weighed but I doubt if anyone will turn you back for weight of backpack. My wife carried her own backpack and 2 of my kids carried back packs as well. We maximized my family size to carry stuff as 5 hang luggages Hopefully, others will share their experience. Boss, you have got mail. Thanks for the practical insights that you have been sharing on this thread |

ymummy234: 40manlappy - i have a quick question - should we start changing all our POF to USD - i have some in naira and some in USD - i am confused cos of exchange rate fluctuation - what if we change and then it drops or we dont change and it goes up @Vcole and others please advise biko, today's rate is 367 I think you should maintain the status quo. Rates are stable now and are likely to remain so for some time. Please bear in mind that IRCC does not use parallel market rates. |

tpain22: Hello House,
Please does anyone know a legit way to get transcript sent from lautech considering they are on strike right now and theres no hope of resuming soon, I've been waiting on this transcript for months now. I doubt if there is anything you can do until they call off the strike or bow to pressure to resume work on a skeletal basis. Called my contact there this morning and was told that they are not at work yet. Let's pray they call it off soon. |

pes08: My questions are
Can I delete it post-ITA from work history in the e-APR and put it in the personal history. I know the profile is locked post -ITA. Yes, you can do that since you didn't get any points for his work experience. You may wish to mention it in your LOE
Also if he transfers money to account for the POF must he include his statement of account or write LOE. I think LOE suffices though it has been said that POF can be in the spouse's name.
Please which bank in Nigeria gives statement of account that meets the requirements of CIC. Currently, I only use my savings account with GTB and I have read it on this platform that they won't obey the request for a statement that fulfills the CIC requirements. Please read Fusion23's posts, especially on page 370. He got a letter from GTB (on savings account, I think) with which he got PR. It was also discussed recently on this forum
My reference letter also has a date error, instead of Jan 2006 to Dec 2007 they mistakenly put Jan 2006 to Dec 2006 but in the first paragraph the dates were stated correctly. Even though I have contacted HR, they are yet to reply. Can I submit it or I should wait for them to rectify it. It depends on the days/weeks/months that you have till the 90 days submission deadline; you can either wait for your HR to reply or put it in a LOE so that you can submit.
Thanks in advance to the gurus for answering my questions. Let us hear the comments of our more experienced members Please see my posts in bold. @vcole Trust you are fine. Patiently waiting for the next level |
