So, for instance, this universe could be modeled as a computer program. If this is correct, exactly why would you choose to believe that this universe isn't a simulation?

Put another way, in the future we've built machines capable of simulating galaxies and whatnot, and people are playing around with them for whatever reason. Projects, maybe even fun and games like the Sims 3030, whatever. My question is if that's possible, then exactly why wouldn't you believe this universe is a simulation as well. Thinking otherwise would plenty shortsighted and self centered, no?

Just as a religious would be plenty selfish to assume this universe was created just for him, it would be plenty self centered to assume all other universes are simulations save for this one, no?

Perhaps a better question would be "what would stop them from being known?", as if they can't be understood then that would imply something supernatural, yes? Sone thing that natural laws cannot explain, yes?

The idea is that someone who do not believe in God would swap role and argue that God exists with his points and same Goes for someone who hold a belief in Gods

i don't believe God exists... i will reject all evidence i see no mater how logical it is... the dna is the starting point of life which came from nothing and completely programmed itself... nothing has the tendency to create something out with order. all we see is the physical and there is nothing like spiritual... just your mind playing tricks on you.. there is nothing like miracles even if i were to see one live... I'm too dumb... i mean.. wise to be fooled by tricks. i don't believe in supernatural planes and all who believe in a sort of deity are deluded or religiously blinded... no amount of proof will make me believe.. they're all lies according to me

If you limit god to one deity it becomes stale and weak, preferrably assume a God unlimited in concept ..

They don't really. Deism generally defines God as a Creator who made the world and left it to run. Simple as that. Your reason is a poor one.

The point I'm trying to make is ;

Deism can define God in a multidignous array of ways and cannot be refuted.

However; their definiton do not represent the traditional and generally accepted way of defining God.

There in lies my main p.

The bible gods weren't really gods. They came from other planets. So far there is no evidence of god. Religion doesn't have one shred of evidence

Umm okay I looked at this post aaaand there are a lot of fallacious reasoning cuz if you want to reason like that we might as well say poverty doesn't exist cuz it's the lack of wealth oor scurvy doesn't exist since it's the lack of vitamin C or sorrow doesn't exist since it's the lack of wealth. While stories about a student like Einstein humiliating an atheist professor might make for very entertaining Chick Tracts they probably don't convert anyone. Rather they function mostly as a way of reinforcing things that Christians already believe to be true, and make them feel smart about doing so.
Btw Einstein didn't believe in the abrahamic God. He believed in the pantheistic God of Baruch Spinoza, but not in a personal god, a he criticised such beliefs.iono if there's a god or not but I'm 101% sure the abrahamic God doesn't exist He is an illogical concept, rife with contradiction — a square circle of loving wrath, known to have gone through an evolution as He was compiled by the ancients throughout history
