What is Shifting Cultivation?
Shifting Cultivation is a traditional way of farming in which a farmer cultivates a plot of land for about 2-3 years then leaves the land fallow for some years 5-6 years for a new land to farm.

First of all, apologies for any errors you may come across as I am not at the right frame of mind now.

Secondly, this post is 100% real about my life. So nothing is fake in it.

I'm a man, precisely 33 years old. I graduated from the University in 2019 at age 31. You may ask why I was still in school till that age. Well, I have realized that family/parental background matters a lot in a child's life no matter how people try to twist the fact. My family/parental background wasn't a good one educationally and financially as my parents were just petty traders and this has contributed negatively in achieving my goals and aspirations in life. With the above, you can deduce that there was no sources of funding for my tertiary education so I had to find a job after my secondary school while very ambitious about my furthering my education because I always believed in acquiring education up to university level. This led me to doing several odd jobs such as construction site labourer, security guard, cleaning, barbing, hawking, even to remove soak away and many others just to feed and see myself through school. Let me also add that @33 now, there are some jobs I can't do again because of some changes in my health system occasioned by some of the odd jobs I exposed myself to. For example, any strenuous job now is not for me as it makes me breath heavily like an asthmatic patient; any job that requires standing for long or bending down not for me due to broken waist (although these might be solvable issues but for now, I can't tell cos I have no money to visit health facility).

Moving on, while I may be thanking God for the academic success (even though the school is yet to issue me certificate) but I'm having strong feelings about myself. I feel like I have failed in life. I feel like I am a failure. My mates who got admission into university immediately after secondary school are gainfully employed today, living in comfortable apartment (built or rented), married with kids, have their own car and generally doing well. Even the ones who didn't further but venture into learning trade are doing well too. On the other hand, at 33, I have virtually nothing to show for it. Still living in one thatch house, poor, hungry and starving, no wife, no kid(s) (not even a serious girlfriend), no job, no car and nothing to show for my 33 years on earth. This is why I'm feeling like I have failed in life and it has made me to always be ashamed of myself and always trying to avoid meeting my mates who are doing well.

Also, looking at the country Nigeria, most employers recruit under 30. @33, what are my chances of
landing a good job if I refuse to forge age and go for service but collect exemption letter? What are even the possibility of getting a job as I have no capital for business? Note: between 2019 and now, I've learnt several online money making skills but yet to make a kobo out of it all. Note also: ordinarily, I wouldn't seek employment (private or government) because I'm multi talented e.g in football, entertainment or business but these talents need money to develop which is what I'm lacking.

My questions:
Please what do you all think? Do you think I have failed or I'm a failure in life? What is the future holding for me? As at today, the only thing I can boast of is "I am a graduate". Nothing more...like I said, poor, hungry and starving.

Help me with good pieces of advice please before my mind begins to consider evil as fastest way of making money. Thanks.

Amongst trainees were beautiful ladies of all shapes and sizes and intelligence.
The first day I saw my girlfriend, I didn't feel anything, she's very young and beautiful and opposing too (one of my likes about women). I realize she's a little opinionated, hence she got my attention.

I guess one of the problems is the emboldened.

Sincerely speaking, I can relate to what you're passing through.

Maybe, girls in such category feel it's always a bit too soon to be committed to just one fellow.

They'd say, "Afterall, I enjoy how am being wooed by randomly more handsome/good-looking guys. I still have more time so, I can't be left out in catching that fun!"

Nevertheless, I don't seem to blame them in a way cos the very unpredictable nature of tomorrow makes life fun to the living.

In some cases, or should I say in most cases, "Peer Pressure" if not "Religious Bigotry" (in my case), plays a vital role too.

At this point, I would say;

1. Pray

2. Work with facts not emotions

3. It has always been "Work before pleasure"

4. Do not compromise your peace of mind and happiness.

5. One who really cares about you should never take your career/job/hustle and simplicity for granted

It was on her birthday which she refused to invite me.

She had told me earlier that though she doesn't want celebrating, but her mom insisted she should. Therefore, would be within her immediate family.

Ladies and Gents, So I decided to surprise her by attending, but behold I was in for the "fully packaged" surprises myself instead when:

1. Invitees were arriving before my very own eyes not only her immediate family.

2. Her "Real" boyfriend for sake of the event was there and even passed a night in her family home.

3. Then I recalled the saying, "There's more to what the eyes can see in this world."

Moral Lesson:

1. Please, endeavor to date that person extensively before marriage.

2. Do not succumb to pressure of any kind when you know that "You, Yourself and You" are not certain.

3. Pay them impromptu visits. In other words, be sporadic.

4. Always work with FACTS not assumptions or emotions!

By the way, I'm not married yet, still under due process✌️

Right so asking people why they don't have prepaid is not a kind question, because many have tried to no avail. Our bill suddenly jumped from 12-15k to 40k per month despite erratic power supply, and the fact that we now have an inverter. Several mails, as well as sending someone in person met brickwalls.

This is Nigeria, we can hope and pray, and wait for justice from the true just ONE.

It's actually easy to get metered here in Akwa Ibom state.

Only that most people rely on the "I hear say you go pay but no meter".

So, they back off!

Though exceptional cases could have been for:
1. Those who may not have received the mail earlier before the complaints.
2. Those who may have received yet responded just after the complaints were resolved.
I guess you may fallen into one of the above. Else, still try to.

Hi! Lemme try to explain here: I think due to complaints from candidates on location/test centre inconveniences, the platform had to undergo modifications by Dragnet to curb these complaints. After which, Dragnet had to re-send mails with a channel redirecting candidates to refill the previously filled form which hope you did, on the modified platform.

This resent mail by Dragnet might likely appear in your "spam" or "promotion" parts of your e-mail account.
Therefore, check these areas for the "resent" mail from Dragnet to again refill the form before 12 midnight today.
