Kobo gets appointed as moderator, suddenly,he becomes a zealot for democracy.Kobo is not the first or sole moderator on NL.

Cool down before you burst a vein hitting the keyboard frantically to type out "stupid".

You're a chronic defender of all things Western, admit it! Except you just recently changed your ways, then that's cool.
You are getting more stupid by the minute. How could you assume that I was a chronic defender of the West solely on the strength of my post on this thread?

You are effectively admitting what I noted earlier-it smacks of stupidity to think that you can understand all posts within a thread as merely referring to only that particular thread.

I am still asking you:How many times have you petitioned Seun to ban me? Mr Petitioner.

My question: How many times had you been banned prior to my reporting you to Seun?
You are stupid then.If this thread was the first time ever you saw my posts, you would have concluded that calling me "Mr Defender of the West" is apt? That tells us how stupid you are.

How many times have you petitioned Seun to ban me?

4 play is 4 rustrated!

I have no obsession with anyone, I'm just interested in knowing why we did not implement a system we've so much espoused as the best system when it came to choosing section moderators.
My friend, had I viewed your posts in this thread in isolation,my conclusion would have been different. However,I have seen your disturbing obsession with Kobo and this thread was merely a confirmation of it.

You didn't go around complaining when moderators were being appointed in other sections until now.

Also, that an entity is privately owned does not preclude the implementation of democratic elements like voting. Even in big corporations, the CEO is sometimes voted in or out by the board.
Anu mpama, the shareholders, through the instrumentality of the board, own and run the corporation.

I happen to think Seun can be an asshole sometimes but for the purposes of this forum,he is the CEO and the board rolled into one.We are mere customers and customers of corporations don't get a vote on who runs the corporation or parts of it.A shareholder is not a synonym for a customer.

And Richy,we all know this is a red herring. The main problem is your Kobo obsession. grin

Abeg,go somewhere and whine about Kobo.Tit,should we presume that your calling me "Mr Defender of the West" is due solely to comments on this thread and nothing to do with other things you have read?

I'm only bringing to the fore the importance of democracy. Aren't you one of the champions of democracy? But now you can't even defend the democracy you claim to support.

You were banned for insulting someones' mother. And before I knew who you were, you had been banned at least 10 times. So, let that one rest.
Only a crass individual will go from thread to thread on a privately owned forum whining endlessly like a woman on PMS about the new moderator. This your obsession with Kobo is perverse.

Didn't I ask you then to quote and show people where I insulted your mother?Silly Arrow, petitioning like an infant in primary school.

You keep exposing your inability to understand numbers. That ONE ship from China transported arms to South Africa and (allegedly) destined for Zimbabwe, is no indication of the origin of "most of the arms trade in Africa". Your overtly simplistic mindset is cause for much ponder, worry and concern for the future of he human race! grin
I think you have to be a crass tit to deduce that my conclusion that most of Africa's arms trade isn't from the West comes solely from this article.

The way you were defending Iyabo made me think there must have been a 'kindred' spirit. It was like members of the Sisterhood of Wowoness sticking up for each other.

Besides, trumpeting your 'gorgeousness' only serves to reinforce the habit of judging women on their looks.

You know what, I am just going to accept that you are a Yar adua apologist, if that is ok with you. I mean I remember having debates like this with OBJ appologists back when he first came in as well. Over 8 years later, seems they all bet on the wrong man even though there are some of them who still believe the man did a great job. The problems stated by the @Poster still exist and the state of the things so far show that the present administration is not doing enough for the people.
People's love for their country often results in them being overly optimistic and accommodating. They want to believe, against overwhelming evidence to the contrary, that things are different this time with each new Govt.Unfortunately, with regards to Nigeria's political situation, there is a thin line between being such an optimist and being obtuse.

I think Afam suffers from a fairly common malaise amongst Nigerians.Simply transplanting western ideas which, while pertinent to the West, have little or no relevance to Nigeria's situation.

OBJ recorded the highest number of foreign trips in his first one year.

Secondly he ordered the Ethnic cleasing that took place in Odi and Zaki Biam with those records - This was the main this Saddam was killed for and those Serbian generals who acted in time of war,

Given the above we can conclude that OBJ was far more active than Yar'Adua in his first year.
Are you saying Yar'Adua's freequent trips abroad for medical check-up are not a sign of activity? Those check-ups can be very rigorous. He beats OBJ hands down in this department.
PoliticsRe: What Economic Future Does Nigeria Have Outside Oil? by 4Play(m): 5:35pm On Apr 18, 2008
Neither oil supply nor oil demand will dry up all of sudden. There is plenty of time for diversification. This is where your foreign reserves comes in handy. It gives you a cushion to mitigate the effects of a precipitous fall in oil prices.

I guess when oil stops being the most significant source of our revenue,it won't be because supply dried up but instead, because demand has tanked. As the ex-Saudi Oil Minister aptly noted,''the Stone Age didn’t end for lack of stone, and the oil age will end long before the world runs out of oil.’’

Interaction could have taken the form of an intellectual discourse.Maybe they were discussing important issues regarding how to move Edo state forward.

I think Rio Ferdinand should get a rest.He is carrying a slight knock.Apart from that,we should play our full strength side,no resting players for Barca.

Scholes was an embarrassment last week but hopefully,he will be better against Blackburn.I think Anderson also has a slight knock.Giggs should also start. He is chasing Bryan Robson's record of 759 appearances for Utd.He has to play every game this season to equal it which means only one thing-he will feature in every game this season as long as he is fit.

Can you tell us where you got yours from? I got mine from wikipedia I got mine from wiki so wiki misled people where did you get yours from 4play?

According to wiki. Nikos machlas of Vittese Arnheim won in 1997/98 with 34 goals which was multiplied to give 68 points, Wiki might be wrong but you have to prove it
It doesn't matter where you got it from if its wrong.Any person will know that Alves scored 34 in '07 while Hunterlaar scored 33 in '06,yet,neither won the European Golden Boot.Instead Totti and Luca Toni won it with 26 and 31 goals respectively.

Do you watch your football on Wiki? You are saying that I should prove what, that Alves and Hunteerlar outscored Totti and Toni but neither won the Golden Boot?
