@Omo Eko I noticed that there are 2 Omo Ekos on NL -https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-44714.64.html#msg1006439 |
Privatisation is not good for privatisation's sake.We have sold off NITEL to Transcorps,a coy undeniably linked with Govt officials. Privatisation if well implemented is a fantastic development for the country but at the rate we are going,we seem to be repeating the Russian example of the early 90s. |
Having made a fool of yourself,no mean feat giving that you are already notable for your unrelenting foolishness,I do appreciate the sheer folly in responding to your ignorance |
Donzman:You are such a harebrained dunce man.All you needed to do was to go back a few pages and actually read what I posted . |
Donzman:Having excused relentlessy the excesses of Rob Mugabe,it is interesting that you now seek to point a distracting finger to Sudan . I did a guick google search of Zimbabwe on my Opera Web browser and came up with 14,300 entries.Quite a lot you might think, until you perform a similar search on Sudan-96,100,000 entries. A lot more money and time has been spent on the Sudan than Zimbabwe. There is no basis for comparison. If you know anything about my posts, you will know that very few bring up Sudan as much as I do. Like I asked you earlier,in the light of China's intrasingence on the issue,do you want the US to mount a unilateral military action in Sudan? |
@Big B1 I'm not too keen on your effusive hagiography on Kwame Nkrumah who for all his eloquence and idealism was essentialy a despot. A more deserving person should be Sir Seretse Khama of Botswana whose inspiring and unique leadership, for an African country, has helped that country maintain what is said to be the world's fastest economic growth rate over 3 decades . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seretse_Khama |
If privatisation takes the form of sell-offs of national assets at discounted prices to highly connected individuals,it would be better not to privatise. Such a course of events will be of great diservice to Nigeria, for it will discredit the principle of privatisation in the eyes of Nigerians even though privatisation in principle is very beneficial. |
A bird cannot take a right turn chimps love eating at KFC |
Daylight robbery in its purest form |
@whiteroses Why you dey complain? Don't you like the lovely aroma of cement and the beauty of dusty pot holed filled roads? By Nigerian standards,it is completed. |
Whatever you say about Muslims, you can't deny that they have a brilliant sense of humor, whatelse can be said about their characterisation of Islam as a "religion of peace". |
LePhilippe:Why should I calm down when we have had numerous experiences like that? You say that was Nov 2006,that was just 4 months ago |
@manu4laif Na toy gun To be used by kids which is what Arse is made up of ![]() |
Are these the latest pictures? The project still looks uncompleted.I hope this is not one of those Nigerian Govt project that they commision even when not ready |
Horus:I like that quote.Problem is,that is a century old quote from Thomas Edison .Definitely not one of Emeagwali's "famous quotes" |
Seun:That would entail a post-nuptial .If you bring that to court, the judge might laugh in your face ![]() |
Interesting article on Mugabe-http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=NDRkZDU3NzdhOGQzNGE4MzA1MmZmYzVlNGQyYTdlOGI= Just when you thought that it couldn't get any more ridiculous-http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/africa/article1593985.ece |
@muki Is it not past your bed time? Maybe tommorow's match with L,pool is giving you a sleepless night ![]() |
In a Muslim Northernstate, there will still be people to burn.Don't forget that many Northerners are Christians. That constitutes sufficient burning material for decades to come |
sisimose:If Nigerians don't like each other then perhaps it hardly surprising that non-Nigerians don't like us. |
Hate is too strong a term to describe feelings btw various members of the black community towards each other.Sure, many other Africans look at Nigerians with suspicion and a degree of contempt but that animosity is no more than the various Nigerian ethnic groups feel towards each other. We as Nigerians are not only known for our "tribalism" towards each other,we are not exactly free of bigotry towards other black people.Does the term "akata" sound familiar? |
laudate:It is better to keep quiet about a subject such as this than to embark on an inane analysis based on narrow minded stereotyping. |
@AdBlues Abdblues:If you can infer from what people wrote then you should come out of the closet then While it took me 10 years of watching and reading about Shevy,it took you only one post from NL.Your powers of inference need further elaboration NB:Ashley Cole was once said to have been caught in a party with 2 other males. That is Chelski for you. ![]() |
This thread is an orgy of feeble minded hare brained analysis.Nobody has conducted a scientific study on this issue and any stereotyping is just that, stereotyping . |
@AdBlues By your logic, one wonders what to make of a person who senses homosexuality by simply reading someone's post Please feel free to come out of the closet ![]() |
I don't think Abramovich can actually afford a takeover of Arsenal FC-it is worth £466 million according to FORBES valuation-The list of the top 20 most valuable clubs have been published,Utd are still no 1-http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2002390000-2007140819,00.html |
