So let me get this straight...

A man tells you how he deliberately misbehaved to get the worst out of his wife and how they are living blissfully afterwards and to show your displeasure you cronies decide to INSULT not only the man but INSULT his innocent wife as well(the woman you are supposed to be defending) in a bid to get back at him/hurt his feelings/show you are better than her?

And you expect to be taken seriously? grin

97% ? Don't we always have all the fools on nairaland on our side ?

every relationship has its own peculiar baggage and hearts will be broken with or without intent. torture is a relative term to a degree.
I deduce OP has had a bad relationship which made him went a little bit hard in testing his soul mate's fidelity.

but the beautiful part of his story(which is the most predominant) is the bonding and expression of love which this couple has found. THE POSTER NOW CHERISHES HIS WIFE.

it is ironic in life that most couples can only truly bond after a storm and if they do survive it the woman is often cherished by the husband. to be cherished by one's husband is the highest expression and display of love. it is awe inspiring and way higher than love.

ONLY FEW WOMEN EVER GET TO BE CHERISHED BY THEIR HUSBANDS IN LIFE.

Now what i find nauseating is your 97% who have no scruples about insulting a married man but also have the insensitivity to attack his family and innocent wife, calling her all sorts of name just to make their opinion heard. that is an all time low for anyone to descend to.

And those are the people in dire need of your advice

I killed my heart back way then, to keep it alive, like a seedling buried in the soil to die then grow. Chose yur path. I av chosen mind. I knew what I wanted. I always know what I want and how to painstakingly get to it. We all hav our ways, no matter how easy or hard we device them. Most men have the route to the shortcut in their brains and just walk down straight to it. Most dont. They discover thier own shortcut by long wandering, or die trying. Men are the last creatures that will ever grow up. To survive a tumultuous world of marriage and endless misunderstanding inherent in the day to day union with a stranger, he needs a partner that loves him like his own mother. Only calm feminine minds will ever understand this. BORN GAY?

Perhaps the most dangerous myth disseminated today by the pro-homosexuality movement is that modern science has proven that homosexuality is innate and immutable. That is, homosexuals are born gay, much like being born left-handed or with blue eyes. The inference, of course, is that if they are born that way, then homosexuality cannot be considered immoral or unnatural; the homosexual is just following his or her genes.

The scientific evidences for its origins are usually classified in terms of either biological causes (i.e., genetic/hormonal) or environmental factors (e.g., psychological causes, volitional, and so forth).

Biological Causes. The most recent research suggesting that homosexuality may be caused by biological factors came out in 1991 with the publication of some preliminary findings of Dr. Simon LeVay, a neuroscientist at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in San Diego. His research consisted of studying the brains of 41 cadavers, including 19 homosexual males. He found that “a tiny area believed to control sexual activity [the hypothalamus] was less than half the size in the gay men than in the heterosexuals.

This study was seized upon by many as “irrefutable evidence” that homosexuals are born gay, something the homosexual community has been proclaiming for many years. However, “instead of resolving the debate,” a Newsweek article suggests, “the studies may well have intensified it. Some scientists profess not to be surprised at all by LeVay’s finding of brain differences. ‘Of course it [sexual orientation] is in the brain,’ says Johns Hopkins University psychologist John Money, sometimes called the dean of American sexologists. ‘The real question is, when did it get there? Was it prenatal, neonatal, during childhood, puberty? That we do not know.'”

Other problems with his findings include:

(1) all 19 of the homosexual men had died of AIDS, something that many researchers believe could very well account for or contribute to the differences;

(2) there was no way to know the sexual history of the “heterosexual” men;

(3) there is no way to determine if the smaller hypothalamuses were the cause or the result of homosexuality; and

(4) Dr. LeVay, a homosexual himself, admitted that his study was not entirely a dispassionate scientific endeavor.

Abeg I nid encouragement.......am tired of ds marriage......been married for 14yrs.......no good sex,no money, full of emotinal abusive...........
OP be encouraged.
Have u thought of being the person you want your husband to be? Instead of waiting for him to provide good sex, you give him great sex whenever you guys are chanced to do it. Buy the book "how to improve your man in bed", it is phenomenal.

Having no money is a common problem, it's not peculiar to you. Make do with what you have. Pls don't compare yourself with your friends cos a lot of ladies do that and give themselves unnecessary heartache. Be happy with what you have and make the best of it.

Emotional abuse is still kinda better than physical abuse. Can you explain what you mean by him being emotionally abusive? Is it verbal or what? I've found out that sometimes the best thing to do is to ignore the demon that feeds on anger and hate that comes with abuse. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and start living. Seek out the things that make you happy without resorting to illegal/immoral activities. Ignore him when he becomes emotionally abusive and fid something to do when he begins to behave badly e.g. Watching movies or chatting online or going to a a friend's place to stay.

You have wonderful kids, find joy in them. Take them out and have a good laugh with them together. Focus on being the happy partner. In turn your happiness will rub off on him or at the very least he'll stop harassing you.

Family › Re: Daughters Of Lesbians Kick Against Lesbianism by 5minsmadness(op):
Homosexuality and pedophilia are sexual deviations.

Gay rights groups continually assert that homosexuals are as “normal” as heterosexuals, that homosexuality is not an illness or psychological disorder. For example, Peri Jude Radecic, a member of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF), asserted on the ABC news show Nightline:

"Homosexuality is not an illness, it is not something that needs to be cured. We are normal, natural and healthy people.”

Moreover, these groups universally contend that all competent psychiatrists and psychologists are in agreement on this. As proof of this, the American Psychiatric Association’s (APA) 1973 declassification of homosexuality as a mental disorder is always cited. Before examining the contention that all competent psychiatrists and psychologists agree that homosexuality is normal and healthy, we need to look at the APA’s 1973 decision for a moment.

For 23 years homosexuality had been listed as a mental disorder by the APA. Why was it decided, at that particular point in time, that it was not pathological?

There was no dispassionate or scholarly discussion as you might think. Also, it is important to note that the APA’s vote was anything but unanimous. In the three years leading up to the 1973 APA meeting, the previous national meetings had been repeatedly disrupted by gay activists. At the 1970 meeting in San Francisco certain sessions were broken up with shouts and jeers, prohibiting any rational discussion or debate. At the APA’s 1971 meeting in Washington, threats and intimidation accomplished what discussion could not.

Ronald Bayer, in a study sympathetic toward homosexuality and the gay rights movement, recounts: “Using forged credentials, gay activists gained access to the exhibit area and, coming across a display marketing aversive conditioning [i.e., punishing an organism whenever it makes a particular response] techniques for the treatment of homosexuals, demanded its removal. Threats were made against the exhibitor, who was told that unless his booth was dismantled, it would be torn down. After frantic behind-the-scenes consultations, and in an effort to avoid violence, the convention leadership agreed to have the booth removed.

These tactics continued in the same manner at the APA’s 1972 national meeting. It was against this backdrop that the association’s trustees finally made its controversial 1973 decision. When a referendum on this was sent out to all 25,000 APA members, only a quarter of them returned their ballots. The final tally was 58 percent favoring the removal of homosexuality from their list of disorders.

Four years later, Dr. Charles Socarides — who was at the meetings and was an expert in the area of homosexuality, having treated homosexuals for more than twenty years — described the political atmosphere leading up to the 1973 vote. He writes that during this time, “militant homosexual groups continued to attack any psychiatrist or psychoanalyst who dared to present his findings as to the psychopathology [i.e., the study of mental disorders from all aspects] of homosexuality before national or local meetings of psychiatrists or in public forums.”

Elsewhere Socarides stated that the decision of the APA trustees was “the medical hoax of the century."

1. Romantically frustrated wife.
2. Introverted husband.
3. Introverted wife.
4. 4yrs of marriage yet no kids.
5. Strange boring and scarce sex in which wife recieves less than 90% of sper..m.

For those of you thinking this man is cheating I highly doubt that is the case. It all lies in thier sexua.l lives. Something is not right.

Also I think u shd get some or all of Pst. David Ibiyeomie's messages on marriage. He's d pastor of salvation ministries. I advice u get d dvd and mp3s, and try playing the video when he's around so d two of u can watch it togeda. But if he's not interested, I advice u play the mp3 with a device just loud enof and close enof for him to hear, maybe when he's in d lobby and ur washing. Dont make it look like u want him to hear it oh. Just pretend like ur playing it for urself. Its no garanti but if he can listen to some of dose messages, I think he might decide to change.

Maybe u shd give it a try.

@bold totally agree.

At the rest of your post, one still can't understand where you're leaning to.
Do you realize that just half the energy homophobes spend on castigating homosexuality on NL would have been sufficient to do something about preventing the passing of that bill legalizing child marriage? Apparently not.
Now the west are the bad guys even when we have worse going on in our Nigeria.

Sadly that time you speak about when kids can't have a say on who they marry even if she's 6 and he's 45yrs old has already come for Nigerians.
And it came because instead of fighting our own social ills, we were more concerned about what's happening in the west and what two adults do in their own bedroom.
1, Do you feel concerned for the westerners that it may also get to them too? The paedophilia thing? That's why I said worry about yourself first.

4, There's no connection between paedophilia and homosexuality. If there is, then that same connection exists between heterosexuality and paedophilia. Should we then stop men and women having sexual relations with each other because it could lead to some men or women sexually molesting kids of the opposite gender?
3, Are you going to say you don't know that happens in large numbers everyday?
Why haven't you made the connection between heterosexuality and paedophilia since the myriads of occurrences where one person of the opposite gender molested a child?
Why haven't you put up a campaign against heterosexual sex?

See we will be in total agreement if you create another thread to condemn paedophilia instead of attaching it to homosexuality and trying to pass it off as both things of the same class. They are not.
If heterosexuals can molest kids, there's no reason why this should even come up when the so called ills of homosexuality is being analyzed.

If you may, Just watch, The same people who would like to paint homosexuality as bad will be the first to remind you that Mary was 12 when she had Jesus.(meaning that by implication it is not so bad).

5, I can't get around to comparing a relationship where two adult men or women decide to be together and a relationship where one person is forced against her will(or his will as the case may be). There's no comparison there.
1. The western world is the major champion in the endorsement of homosexuality, it is only natural i reference them when I discuss the matter. It has even gone so bad that the infringe on the freedom of choice of other nations by threathening them with sanctions if they do not agree to legalising homosexuality. the same freedom of choice they claim to champion. Hypocrisy, anyone?

2. There was a massive uproar when senator whatshisname legalised child marriage. Unfortunately in nigeria money and power speaks louder than morality or justice. Kindly do not deny this.

3. I have never seen a utopian society. it does not exist. Just because there are certain ills in a society does not mean you keep silent to others. Once again when good people do nothing evil is propagated.

4. Homosexuality and pedophilia both fall under the group sexual paraphilias. i feel i have mentioned this before. Accede to one and watch the other slip in with ease.

5. I'm sure i have related an experience here once involving a case of sexual molestation of a minor. The little girl involved did not understand what all the fuss was about and was angry we were seperating her from her "uncle". As far as she was concerned, "uncle' made her feel good.
of course we can argue on her not being able to give consent because she is underaged(9yrs old) but to be fair a niine year old knows a lot about her environment and the workings of the human body. what if in the near future the age restriction for underage is reduced and the 9yr old can now give consent. will you agree to that because, after all, it is now the law?

Its not like i expect to change your mind with these points. lets agree to disagree.
