olisa1010: A 35-year-old Nigerian woman has been charged with killing her husband, who she claimed abused and cheated on her with several women including her sister and their nanny's daughter.Temitope Adebamiro's husband, 37-year-old Adeyinka Adebamiro, was found stabbed in a first-floor spare bedroom of the couple's home in the 1300 block of Healy Court early Thursday, according to court documents obtained by The News Journal.Police were called to the home at about 12:40 a.m. for an unknown problem only for arriving officers to find Adeyinka Adebamiro unconscious with a stab wound to the upper body. Paramedics pronounced him dead at 1:37 a.m. The victim, his wife, Temitope Adebamiro and their two children and nanny had been living at the home for the past two years. Officers took residents of the home – including Temitope, who was wearing blood-stained clothing to the Cpl. Paul J. Sweeney Public Safety Building near New Castle. According to police and documents, the two had been married for more than 10 years, during which time Temitope told investigators that her husband physically abused her, even while pregnant with their two children. She also told investigators her husband had been cheating on her with various women, including her own sister and the nanny's daughter. The papers, however, did not say how old the nanny's daughter was.
Temitope also told investigators her husband had sent her to Nigeria for several months. After returning in December, she had to stay in a hotel near the Philadelphia airport for four days because her husband refused to let her into their Red Lion home. He then paid for her to fly back to Nigeria for a few more months. About this time, she learned that her husband had spent Christmas with the nanny's daughter. The husband later flew out to Nigeria and flew back with her to Philadelphia. As he showed her the cameras inside their home over his cellphone, Temitope saw the nanny's daughter inside the home. At one point, Temitope saw several texts and images in her husband's phone, which she took pictures of using her cellphone. Some of the pictures included images of her sister and the nanny's daughter. The documents do not detail the images beyond that. As the investigation drew to the night before the killing, police learned the couple had been talking and watching television on the couch about 9 p.m. Wednesday. Temitope and her husband began arguing after he discovered the photos she'd taken on her cellphone and he began erasing them. As he yelled at her, Temitope told police there was a power outage at which time she went to the kitchen until power returned. But when the power returned, she found her husband in the first-floor bedroom lying in the bed. As she got closer to him, she saw a knife on the ground which she picked up and took to the kitchen. As she put it away, she noticed blood on the tip and that's when she realized that he was stabbed. While not admitting to the killing, court papers claim Temitope suggested that her husband stabbed himself. And that she changed her story several times about what happened in the bedroom, including to say that she entered first and her husband followed her in with the knife but that he later dropped it. The autopsy said the homicide was a single stab wound just below the victim's neck, about 2 inches off the center line. The stab was 4 inches deep and severed the victim's carotid artery and jugular vein. When police told Temitope that this was not a suicide, the woman "began nodding her head in agreement," according to court documents. Investigators also checked with Delmarva Power, which indicated no such power outage occurred at that time, police said. Temitope was charged with first-degree murder and other charges. She was arraigned and committed to the Baylor Women's Correctional Institution where she is being held without bail.
- DelawareOnline 1. The dead don't talk. Not all the time, anyway. So she can say the man was physically abusive to her and the kids and the nanny etc and there will be no one to defend him. It paints him as a monster and adds sympathy to her case. 2. It is highly possible that during the time she was forced to stay in a hotel room her husband was having an affair with said nanny's daughter, but why would said nanny allow that? wasn't she cleaning the house or whatever she does in the house during that period? Was she in support of the affair? And if yes why? 3. What kind of woman has an affair with her husband's sister? Its like the man was well loved by the womenfolk, maybe the wife wasn't well liked by her own folk(sister and nanny?) 4. So the man shows her pictures in his phone and forgot to delete the pics of the sister and nanny(probably in compromising positions? Nude? Why do men keep sh1t like that anyway?), and wifey snaps the pics to keep as future evidence for a confrontation. she snaos the pics without the husband's notice. 5. Husband notices the pics on that fateful night. Sudden confrontation, unplanned confrontation. They both get very angry and Husband yells at her. 6. She SNAPS. What she thought was a power outage was her losing control of her senses, blacking out, rushing to the kitchen and picking a knife in her crazed state. she stabs him once on the neck, sadly in the carotid region and he dies in seconds. She drops the knife and walks back to the kitchen in a dazed subconscious state where she recovers---this is signified by the lights coming back on. 7. she walks back to continue the argument from where she thinks it stopped and sees him dead. Confused, she calls the police. Madam, plead temporary insanity. Get a good lawyer and you might get off with manslaughter. |

Dcholeric: an obstinacy that is as hard as life itself, wouldn't break unless there's no more life, the privilege of having all partners and stake holders push me to the position of leadership without any suggestions from me "in every kind of relationship(casual friends, intimate. groups.....etc)". I have never been deterred by the difficulties of life, I do not hold anyone responsible for problems I encounter. I see leadership as a privilege to decide for others over few but important issues that concerns their well being, hence I do not in anyway abuse this privilege.
I can be as cold as ice when its time to implementing justice, as warm as a cup of coffee in a cold night to console a victim, and as hot as fire to protect the innocent.
have it all, or so I thought. but yesterday I did a rethink over few of similar statements told to me in different events of life happenings. statements such as *you think you can do it all? : by my brother
*people like you makes it difficult for people like us: by a lady on NL.
*just because you can't be broken, doesn't mean others can't & if you don't care others do: by 5minmadness
* if you were in my shoes: by a feminist
my brother holds me responsible for his difficulties just because I seem to fight out every problem and win why he doesn't have that obstinacy to overcome same problem, making him look weaker(even though I love him much)
the NL girl sees children as useless for reasons I know nothing about but in any case those children are not useless and are innocent
5minmadness sees me as an hindrance against solving a problem for paying back the thought of the girl who sees children as useless by seeing her also as the same (I sincerely apologize)
most feminist thinks men are their problem "why in the real sense men can also be those that protect the interest of women, even the very law that protect women are created and mostly implemented by men". the feminist who told me "if you where in shoes" does reason this way 'men are my obstacle"
now here is the issue
I do not hold anybody as the cause of a difficult situation, I face them as it comes and who ever intentionally tries stop to me, I go against. and I do not jugde anyone unless that person is a threat to an innocent person or group of people.
WHERE I NEED ASSISTANCE:
am I becoming what I detest ; "judging people unjustly"?
people who attack or detest the innocent just because those innocents are slightly attached to the source their problem or difficulty. shouldn't they be told their wrongs or jugded ? ( I only learnt yesterday that some of this cases may be mental disorder )
I realy need to know as it will help my daily decisions as a leader. It's 5minsmadness, not 5minmadness! Just seeing this post, no thanks to the misspelled moniker. Empathy is the keyword. When you empathise you pass your message across better. |

Life filled with sadness, Life filled with boringess, In pain I writh, In sorrow I pourge
Many obstacles, inconsistency and unexpected has embedded the earth. I mourn and cry for help, I'm stuffed with pains that has weighed me down.
The children of Mother nature, scold, scoffs and scorn me. What else am I gonna do?
Fighting the sorrow and agony, with weapon I knoweth where it cameth from, Above my imperfections, may I be favoured.
We all came through sand, and in sand we would go back, The thought of after-life, live us in sober.

Goldrushnigeria: An Australian teenager, 19-year-old, Audrey Pekin, has told of how she was brutally raped twice by a Nigerian, Henry Alafu, on Christmas Eve in Bali while holidaying with her family. Audrey says Henry lured her to his property where he assaulted her and then assaulted her again in a taxi as she tried to flee.
Alafu told Ms Pekin a party was taking place a nearby villa, and the pair agreed to go to it together. According to ACA, during in taxi ride to the home, Ms Pekin began to feel unwell due to her type 1 diabetes. Inside the house, Alafu locked the door and forced Ms Pekin to the bed where he allegedly attacked her.
He went from a man to a monster. I can’t quite describe the feeling, the sadness, to know what was about to happen and that I would or could not have done anything to stop it.
I was literally shaking and drooling… I threw some very feeble punches, but I could not move my arms…I could not move anything.’
Ms Pekin believed she was safe when a cab picked her up, only for Alafu to force his way into the cab and again allegedly rape her. He kept trying to kiss me… he molested me in the back of the taxi for everyone, for the taxi driver, to see. He wouldn’t stop.’
Ms Pekin escaped the cab when it got back into the city of Kuta, when Alafu stalked after her again.
‘He loped after me… he was laughing – he was taunting me,’ she told ACA.
It was only after another man, believed to be a fellow Australian, saw Ms Pekin was distressed and stepped in to help her.
‘I wish I could find that man… he deserves a medal, that man saved my life,’ Ms Pekin said.
Ms Pekin’s sister, Frances, discovered her on the floor of her hotel room hours later.
‘She wasn’t even on the bed – she was next to the bed crying, shaking… in that moment I knew something, the worst had happened,’ Frances Pekin said, according to the report.
The family rushed Ms Pekin to hospital, where doctors found her entire body covered in bruises.
‘He was crushing me, he nearly suffocated me… He could have killed me,’ Ms Pekin said.
The 19-year-old then had a ‘virginity test’ at Sanglah Hospital, which she said was similar to a ‘third assault’.
‘The test was horrible, It was invasive… It was painful.’
The test not only confirmed to police Ms Pekin had been raped, but it also revealed she had contracted a sexually transmitted infection in the attack.
Four of Alafu’s friends were arrested in a raid on the property on January 14, however it is believed he had escaped by that point.
Police tracking revealed his phone was later used in Jakarta before being deactivated. His Facebook account was later opened from Nigeria.
The Pekin family was paid more than $14,000 in legal fees over four days to proceed with the case.
Interpol was notified last week that Alafu is a wanted man. The Pekins are currently waiting for Interpol to issue a red notice for his arrest, which would allow the Australian government to push for Mr Alafu’s arrest.” Dailymail reports.
http://goldrushnews247.com/australian-teenager-claims-she-was-raped-by-this-nigerian-see-photos/ 1. She is blaming her weakness on type 1 diabetes? I assume she was having a hypoglycemic attack. If true then it kills in minutes. There is no way she would have survived the first sexua1 assault. 2. She was raped in a taxi with the driver there? Unbelievable. 3. She staggered home after fighting him off in the taxi? A person under type 1 diabetes hypoglycemia? Mega Lie. 4. A guy rapes you then follows you home and taunting you as you go? Does he not know that what he did was a crime? Wouldn't it be more logical for him to have run away from the taxi(if that part is even true) or get an alibi by going to stay with his friends, etc? Lie 5. The guy that helped her just happened to have vanished into thin air? Does he even exist? I see a lover's quarrel and the girl threatened the naija boy with rape after the first Intercourse and the boy fled. (maybe he's even an illegal immigrant). The story has too many holes, it leaks like a seive. |

A man who doesn't try at all is not the same as one who does but can't meet up with all the demands. And there millions of such men out there. OK. I hear. A man can withstand woman paying his rent for a year. During which time he should find a reasonable job. Even if it is manual labour. He MUST contribute to the payment the next year at the very least. Or he pays the whole rent. Unless he is crippled or an invalid. I don't subscribe to lazy men. It's just wrong. cococandy: really? You have no idea what hard times mean. So if a man is not able to meet up with financial needs of his family at some point, he's a fool?
Easy dude.
providing for a family is not easy and generally can't be achieved by one person. Except he's a rich man, the average guy will always need financial help from his wife. So even if his own money is used for rent/mortgage/building house and his wife uses hers to take care of the family, it is the same thing. It doesn't make him the owner of the house. I admit I hardy read what u posted up there. There should be no excuses. If a man is so bankrupt he can't pay for his own house rent then he has failed in his duties and is worse than a pharisee. There a certain things a man should do to make his wife secure. One of these is taking care of the house financially. I can understand wifey contributing some money to the rent, but not all of it or not for more than a year at a time. If he fails in his responsibilities then maybe that is why wifey isn't serving him food in the first place. |

cococandy: You know I don't believe men are stronger than women? Are kidding me? Wherever did you get that idea from?
Plssssss.
Anyway that said, there are some women that you would want to carry out and they claw at you, scratch and tear your cloth or even hit you with stuff the moment you get close enough to try force them out of the house. You might end up in that fight you were trying to avoid.
Never mind. I was just trying to help you explore the various scenarios that may come with trying to get an unwilling woman out of a house. Lifting her and carrying her out may or may not work as strengths differ from person to person.
Now to the appropriate question. The house belongs to the man and his wife. Why should the wife be the one to leave if they have unresolved issues? Seriously Apologies. We dont differ in belief of who has greater strength. We differ in belief of who has the house. The man pays the rent. The man brought her to HIS house. If she misbehaves the man sends her out. Ce finis. |

cococandy: How do you physically send a lady out of the home if she doesn't want to go? Just asking sha because I can't imagine such a picture without violence.
If the guy is trying to avoid a fight, how will he get her to leave? By just saying it? What if she says no? Will he push her or drag her outside or hire some poeple to come do it? I know u don't believe this, but men are stronger than women. All he has to do is tell her to go nicely, if she refuses then he carries her out physically (without hurting her, don't worry), then he helps her pack her bags and sends it out. It's not only women that want a peaceful marriage. If she wants to go she should go. If she wants to stay then she should kindly explain why she would deliberately starve him. Marriage is not by force, if she doesn't want she should go. |
