-Christians are very hypocrites and hide behind the bible to commit atrocities.Yes there are bad eggs in every association,group,religion but with Christianity it's another thing all together.I understand that it is the most popular monotheistic religion nonetheless it is also the most divided and confused religion.

We have gay pastors,gay Christians,paedophiles priests,polygamist and adulterer pastors,magician pastors(fake miracles),the list is unending....
How many headlines numerous churches make on daily basis compare to any other religion?

I have met atheists who are close to perfect if not righteous than some Christians....maybe atheists mock our God because they don't see anything convincing in the lives of it followers. We have so twisted the Bible(word of God) to suit our purposes that even a Christian himself seems dumb and naive.

Our rules are the basis of the outcome of our infrastructure. The rules that we have is what has given birth to what we see in our environment just as the rules abroad aiding them in building a far better society than our.

Don't you find it ironic that developed countries which seemingly lack "training" have been able to build a better society that those with "training". You have to agree that most of what we are taught or how we are raised actually aid in limiting our mental capabilities.

An average African is not reliable despite being "well trained". Consider African timing, schedule a meeting with an average Nigerian at 9am and don't be surprised to see the person by 12pm. We lack discipline, throw out pure water sachets on the streets, our leaders embezzle all our money, civil servants resume to work whenever they like, policemen don't know their jobs, NOTHING works.

Now, why is that?

But yet you can comfortably make reference to how whenever we leave here to more organised societies we are able to thrive even though most corporate organisations would rather pay way more to hire an "expatriate" in our own country while our "well trained" brothers and sisters earn N18,000 minimum wage

Man worships god till they realise that no one except himself is responsible for his failures or his success. That realisation is what gives them reason to abandon their primitive beliefs. So while Europe and other civilised countries are enjoying development and relative peace without "god" Africans, like yourself, continue to live in abject poverty, with lack of basic infrastructure, lack of development and overall crises with the belief in "god". Seems like god is useless afterall

I forgot to clarify some issues in that post, I knew you'll take advantage of it. Twas my mistake tho.

To me, a god and a creator are two different things entirely, that's why I told you I believe in a creator but not in a god. Though Christians use these synonymously, I beg to differ.

A creator might be a 'force' or an 'energy' responsible for all existence. It is the force that creates, transforms and doesn't interfere in the activities of It's creation. Simply put, the Creator is a source of life.

In the other hand, a god is a human creation, who is assigned every human characteristics, like physique, colour, residence, tribe, names and most importantly, feelings.
This is why you see a god being jealous, getting angry, feeling hungry, demanding a token from humans, etc.

A god demands praise, worship and continous acknowledgements from humans in order to keep existing and to stay relevant, a creator does not as your mere existence is an evidence to it's existence too.

In summary, we were created and left to our own devices, man created god to fill in the unknown blanks of life.

1. Those things you mentioned are inanimate objects. We created them to enhance living. But you outrightly stated that god doesn't need us, so my question was why he created us in the first place.

Since we are all living things, we have the abilities to walk, talk, reproduce and most importantly, reason- independently. Those objects you mentioned up there can't do any of those and will cease to function without our interference. Therefore they are part of our living and not part our existence.
But do we need a god or several gods to function too?

2. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an atheist. I believe in a Creator, but not an egoistic, narcissistic, totalitarian and dictatorial monster who craves for worship from his supposed creations and will do anything to get it even to the extent of threatening, killing, maiming and massacring them -just to get praise and worship!

3. A god is a figment of the human mind, an extension of human imagination, a craft to keep humans in bondage and suppress their sense reasoning. A tool used by certain humans in controlling the thinking and behaviour of other 'lower' humans and using them to gain wealth or carry out nefarious acts.


You're influenced by What you chose to believe or addicted to, and people should be able to use their discretion in certain things. But I wonder why a Christian should be watching such movies.


The movie was kinda funny sha I must admit. They said god died and humans were responsible, so the angels came down to avenge his death. That's funny.

Back to business. I really don't care whatever light they like to paint your god and its extraterrestrial beings. I'm not a believer.

Has there ever been a time when men were NOT lovers of themselves, of money or their knowledge? Even the earliest men discovered fire. Has there ever been a time when there were no wars, suffering, sickness, natural disasters etc since "god" created the earth? Why should I believe that god can guarantee everlasting peace since he has been unable to achieve it in the history of creation?

Since god revealed himself so much in Israel to prove that he was existent, why hasn't he seen it fit to "speak from the cloud" to prove that he truly exists in more than 2000years since the bible era?

Of course It's your prayers and worship that sustains god and keeps it valid. Without people's acknowledgement, it would've been a dead entity by now.

As human needs air to survive, so do gods need continuous acknowledgments and worship. That's why they bring up all sorts of propaganda and threats to scare their worshippers into duty-bound worship.

They leave you with series of promises to be fulfilled If only you'll worship them and only them.

When you realize yourself and break away from this bondage that's when your existence starts.

It's funny how you accuse other gods of demanding sacrifices when yours is notorious in such acts. Do you know how many animals were slaughtered and burnt up for your god? Where did Jephthah's daughter go to? And when you talk about Jesus being a sacrifice, who did he sacrifice himself to?

Maybe you're too blinded to discover that all religions are the same. All of them demand sacrifices cause they think It's the right way to atone for their wrongdoing which you call sin.

People don't like totalitarian type of leadership. They want a system in which you can voice out your opinions and grudges without being massacred.

Following from your Bible, It's clear that this god was a tyrant, a terrible dictator. He wanted people to follow him like robots without complains or suggestions.

So my questions are, If people weren't satisfied with the leadership of your god during that time, how are you sure they'll be satisfied this time around?
Is it that your god discovered his mistakes in the long run and want to try again by sending Jesus as the emissary?

What will be the position of god when Jesus is the king- the king's father?

And generally, why does god need our prayers, worship and praises, is it that without these things he's dead?
