Family › Ladies, What Do You Understand By The Term "Submission"? by 5minsmadness(op): 12:30pm On Jul 02, 2015 |
It is generally accepted that in any sane marriage institution the wife is meant to be submissive to her husband. Wether Christian or Muslim or pagan, the wife has to be a good follower to enable the man lead properly or else chaos ensues. Just as you can't have two drivers in a car, you can't have two leaders in a marriage. Even a team has a Team leader.
So what does it mean for a wife to be submissive? And where does one draw the line between submission and slavery? Is there any difference between the two? |

sofadj: Very bold decision, he was begged by everybody including lecturers and his enemies to come write the final exam but he refused.
Years have gone by now but I still believe he made a wrong decision, he should have written the final exam, obtained his certificate as a doctor and then proceeded to study whatever he wished to study.
That way not only would he actualise his dream, that would probably make him the first doctor-journalist. I disagree with you 50%. The moment you get your medical certificate it'd like a one way speeding train into the medical world and you can hardly stop for anything until one day you wake up and realise you are deeply embedded in a profession you hate with passion and by then it might be too late. People will keep asking you "ah but you have the medical certificate already na, why not continue the practice." It might actually have been easier for him to do what he did than write the final exam and probably seal his fate forever. The guy courageous sha. |

apolonius: I am sure the mothers of these females will disagree with them. A vocal few are pontificating as speakers of a happy and fulfilled majority. Nonsense!
They can go and live anywhere in the whole wide world,if they so hate the Naija culture of male and female relationships.
Most men work hard, provide for their wives and die as slaves to the care concept of marriage. How many of them are complaining?
Ours sisters must get real and stop reading too many soft magazines in the West and cease watching reality shows of jobless women in the US and the UK.
We are Africans. We are conservative;yet we love and respect our women. Of course, most of them are happy with us! 1,000,000Likes!

takoi: Good evening family! I'll keep the story short. A young single lady of about 33yrs has been newly employed in our office. She relocated from Abuja.
I am a married man but for the past two weeks she has been begging me to show her some key places in town.
I've given her lots of excuses because something does not feel right about her request. She keeps pestering me daily even though she sees my wedding ring. The disturbing fact is that we have more than 5 bachelors in the office. I'm tired of her. Please how do I go about this? Simple. Press the "ignore" button. |

The point of the matter is:
If you as a single Nigerian girl think you can 'dagbo' a man into marrying you and taking you abroad where u can enjoy American freedom and think you will use this freedom to milk the man of all his hard earned money and properties AND children....
Then you are most likely going to die. |

Madamkilljoy: It's a pity. I guess you've been hanging out with too many of those kind of girls lately, little wonder you're starting to chat and act like them.
#Stop hating. One man's food is another's poison. It is clear that you are one of them that is why you are so pained. "One man's food is another man's poison". Stay there and be looking for the mugu that will come and lick your feet. We are discussing bad behavior in girls and you are going all out to defend it instead of you to LISTEN and CHANGE. Later when the man runs off and finds a girl worthy of his attention they start to open thread and complain like spoilt children. If you don't agree with this post kindly move on and stop trying to bait me. I don't have the energy for back and forth. |

RoyalRoy: Well to me it sounded like a big joke.
To be honest.
Except maybe you modified it after the original post though. But what I read just a few minutes back was more of a joke than reality. . It was a satire of sorts. I wanted to elucidate on the vanity of opening such threads and was rudely cut short while engaging in a possibly fruitfu discussion. Even if it appeared as a joke surely it wasn't reason enough to delete the entire thread? |
Family › Re: When The Wrong One Loves You Right!!! by 5minsmadness: 4:02pm On Jun 29, 2015 |
jaybee3: I disagree Sir. Most guys that I know would not even consider any girl perceived as a liability from afar. I live in a country where there is pride in being empowered as a woman. We understand the fact that facial beauty is only temporary and would most certainly not keep the home together in the long run.
As a woman, you need to make yourself attractive by having a lot of things going for you as well as having impeccable personality traits to match.
Remember we (Men) usually have more than one to choose from when in the dating game so why then would any sane man go for the second best? And what country is that sir? |
