Politics › Re: Reps To Investigate $17bn Undeclared Crude Oil Exports by 7lives: 2:23pm On Sep 23, 2016 |
Adminisher: That's MAN was not fit for office. I know for a fact that more than half of Nigeria's revenues were stolen before entering the budget. When they budget they steal another one-third and the remaining two-thirds of that budgeted money they keep in banks before TSA came. Yet some minister was reporting fantastic GDP growth figures when we all knew infrastructure and power development did not support that figure. The failure of GEJ was his self acceptance that he was not in government to correct any I'll or change anything. If OBJ was corrupt he would be corrupt, if oil companies were stealing crude oil money , who was he to stop that.
So we had a situation that old warriors like OBJ and Buhari were more radical and change orientated than a 56 year young man. If wailers catch you, you go explain what you mean by this statement. The truth is that most Nigerians don't even know how we arrived at the current status, it is ok to read funky opinions about the economy here, but its terrible to listen to those educated fools who exhibits high level illiteracy like that so called human right lawyer on channels tv on sunrise haba. |

greenpasture: Jobs will continue to be lost in the service industry and thats fine by me. How can you have a vibrant service sector without a real sector? Banking is a large scam. Who do they lend to? Better we shrink that sector and let value added industries soak up the human capital. Don't mind them, who dem epp, na dem dem and their cronies them dey borrow money, and if you keep good money with them especially in dorm acct without accessing it for some time na dormancy you dey play with, it is easier to deposit dollars with them than to withdraw, yeye people. |
Family › Re: Why Do Poor People In Our Society Like Having Plenty Kids? by 7lives: 1:31pm On Sep 19, 2016 |
jagugu88li: Comparing people to dogs is very disrespectful.
I guess this trend is because many have close to no access to family planning. Also, literate ladies tend to focus more on their careers, making them start families later on, contrary to illiterate ladies. Poor communities have a high death rate, so they always feel like compensating their loss. Truth be spoken, one never gets fulfilled because the dead child remains dead, while the parents keep popping out more "compensatory kids".
Silly me thinks making babies becomes a hobby since there are no jobs, no one goes to school, no deadlines etc. Family planning been popular since the time of IBB, the truth is that in some communities people are awarded cheiftancy titles for having 12 children, some its religious beliefs while others its pure ignorance. I once lived in a rural community where i discovered that majority of the women here does not have more than 3 kids and on my investigation, i discovered that most of the women here are into traditional family planning and these are even local women. |

omojeesu: Right and Wrong. Unity, Yes, but not at the expense of the Truth?
Not all that is church is Church of Jesus Christ and not all that say they are 'Christian' are Christians.
You are not a Christian simply because you a member of a church or you belong to a family that has adopted a church. Going to a Church doesn't make any one a Christian. The devil goes to church too!
If you are not born of God (i.e. born again) you are NOT and CAN NOT BE a Christian. A TERRIBLE TRUTH many who say they are Christian but are not born again hate to hear.
Jesus DID NOT establish a religion, not even the CHRISTIAN RELIGION. He came to establish instead A RELATIONSHIP, or better still, to RE-ESTABLISH the intimate relationship that ADAM stupidly lost. Adam did not lose a religion. He lost for himself and us a family relationship with God, the Father. This Jesus came to re-establish! But again Satan came and twisted and perverted much of this truth to this day even among genuine children of God.
Biblical New Testament Christianity IS NOT a religion.
Thank God Murdock declined at the last minute because many children of God take him to be one of them. I was once a member of a strong pentecostal congregation, something happen that made me want to develop a personal relationship with with God. The questions that keeps hammering into my mind them was 1. If Abraham was the father of faith, what religion did he practiced?, 2.How many commandment did Jesus Christ gave his followers?, 3.Who is a Christian?, i discovered answers to the lat two questions but i couldn't answer the first question. |

@Shinarambo, a million likes for you . Nigerians and dirty money are like five and six, just come and see people who don't even work buying aso ebi weeks in weeks out. They have turned parties to business, they must have one reason or the other to organize a party and force the usual aso ebi on people around, if you don't buy you are in trouble, if you buy and attend they may not give you food, they will blame the caterer for not serving you. After the party they will show up at your small shop to buy foods and provisions on credit which they may never pay and when you see them after 3 months after, it is to tell you sorry for not paying you on time and beg you to buy another aso ebi for their new upcoming party. |

argon500: Only a lazy man depends totally on government Why someone like me did not really feel bad about this government is because even as a child, i discovered that i have only me to depend on. It is not that the government should not fulfill its responsibilities to the citizens, but are the citizens ready to make needed sacrifice to succeed 'cause hard way is the only way. Even despite the current economic hardship some still don't get it, for Gods sake people who already had four children and groaning under the yoke of maintaining this family are still getting pregnant to add more loads on themselves. And they continued to fast and pray for breakthrough blaming their situation on imaginary enemies and government. Apart from bad government, another silent enemy of this country is uncontrolled population and the worst culprits are actually those who don't even have money to take care of these children. The consequences of purposeless procreation are all around us, a woman was asked why she insisted on having only two children and she answered that she wanted to breed quality, she is still very angry with her father for having many children from so many women whom were abandoned for their mothers to raise. Instead of feeling bitter and depressed, people should just sit down and look at where things went wrong and make the necessary adjustment, it won't be easy but with discipline determination and prayers this country will survive. |

As for Agberoism, he inherited it and fought it to standstill. Most of the agberos were integrated into KAI brigade and LASTMA. Others were pioneer drivers of LAGBUS and BRT. This is a FACT!
I grew up in Lagos and followed his administration... You no go leave trash for LAWMA? . TonyeBarcanista: As much as I recognize the sterling achievement of Raji Fashola, i have always argued that Sen Tinubu is the real MVP. Like Ambode, all Fashola had to do was to consolidate on Tinubu's achievement and work on his blueprint. Though in Fash's case, he had lots of media attention while BAT had to deal with distractions from Obj's FG especially with respect to seized LGA allocation for THREE YEARS. How many Govs can survive in that situation?
As for Obi, I looked at where he came from and where he left, and couldn't help but give it to him. Especially in the area of prudency and financial stability for the state. The load wey person carry, na im we go take measure him strength, your assessment is in order. Whoever has a different assessment should post make we see. |

Once you tender your international passport, the immigration officer, while pretending on checking it, would draw the attention of security agents to arrest you. For your information, if Aisha Buhari was a suspect, the funfare that was shown in the airport by those that received her would have drawn the attention of the security men to arrest her. Leave these fools abeg, a friend of mine was picked up at the point of entry in America for a crime committed by his brother in Nigeria. It turn out that he was one of his brother's guarantors, his brother defrauded his employers and sneaked out into Europe, and the employer updated the vital information on the international crime watch list. |
