WeneWali: Lol...start determining now. Because you and I know that that yoruba will not be president in 2023, since you don't believe in rotational zoning that you have previously enjoyed. You have taken your own share in 1999-2003.
And finally, if you start your oduduwa cries when you lose in 2023, the SE and SS will be waiting to pay you back based on how you treated Biafra and resource control issues, together with the North.
Diplomatic reciprocity is what it is called. Chai, train don leave this one behind. |

diplomat058: Well, the choice of Buhari wasn't irrational, to me, in 2015. GEJ performed below expectations and people decided to try Buhari. You know the rigidity of his tenure in the '80s also helped give credence to the APC campaign narrative that Buhari would stamped out corruption, and it worked of course. You can't deter people from exercising their rights of choice.
Besides, the SW is a liberal region, not conservative like many others. The voting ratio was 60:40 in favour of Buhari, but you guys don't talk about the 40% at all. That is prejudice, I think.
And you and I are not zoo inhabitants Bro stop jor, you owe no one an explanation for your decision. I endured 16 unproductive years of PDP and I survived. I can't remember coming online to cry, insult or laid a curse on anyone for exercising their right to vote who they want. Come to my end, my street is now tarred, there are street lights, and power have also improve. Forget about those who are gnashing their teeth, things are shaping up, I'm happy. |

nijabazaar: Total bullshit
Only an igbo person can restructure this country and that is why the northern oligarchy and its south western puppets are bent on preventing this.
Most Nigerians greatest fear about igbo presidency is not the domination of igbos actually but the fact that an igbo president might mean the end of Nigeria as it is But Aguiyi Irosi dismantled regionalism na, abi Ironsi na Jukun?. Though I know that Igbo politicians won't dare, let Igbos at the national assembly sponsor the bill for a return to regionalism, six regions to be precise, and see how many of their brothers will support the move. I can bet my life on it that Igbos at the NA will not support the motion. Yorubas are ok in opposition, we are ok under regional government, we shall even be better at ruling this country. Yorubas will be here till those who sabotage us pre and post independence, learn how not to constitute a spanner in other people's wheel of progress. |

We can't say the same thing about a coward who run with his tail leaving his people to be roasted like Suya. Don't mind them, no single Igbo dead or Alive have managed to surpass Awo's achievements. I guess their forefathers were also marginalized from leaving their marks, on the sands of time. |

Between " Awolowo's AG and Ahmadu's NPC, who is more deserving of merger with NCNC? ". So because Awo did not Allow Zik to become the premier of the west, the only way out is for Zik to merge his NCNC, which he inherited from a Yoruba man Herbert Macaulay, with NPC?. Biafrarep: They are still telling lies so shamelessly even when caught. Who did you give independence? Was it not NCNC through Zik that collaborated with with Ahmadu Bello's NPN that forced referendum on the Western region?
Even this report stated that Awolowo's AG formed a shadowy group to frustrate the referendum and even made the ridiculous claim that Igbos will dominate the Benis if they should go ahead with the referendum. Lol, I can even draw some parallels with those blackmails of Awolowo's AG to what is happening in recent times between Igbos and the minorities. They are now telling the minorities how Igbos are after their oil and would subjugate them should they align with us.
The evil that is currently going on in Nigeria did not start today. SMH! Tell me more about it, so why did Adaka Boro declare the Nigeria Delta republic if the minority had it Rosy in the East?. The person who introduced tribal sentiment on page 1 of the thread is your kinsman and maybe your age group. Gambari is an ancient Oyo name given to primitive Fulani / Hausawa in ancient time. Yoruba gave Hausawa / Fulani a group name called Gambari, so, a yoruba man cannot call Gambari a yoruba except he is a youth. Belgore, Bayo Ojo (SAN), Saraki, etc are Fulani Ilorin. Of what importance are they to the IBOs? Is it not only the IBOs that will not recognize that Saraki and Buhari are not from the same tribe? Of what importance is the bad history your forefathers handed over to you? Azikiwe's style of politics was a lot too soon for Nigeria den..he made it seem as Igbos planned on domination.. Even me will be abit angry if someone from Tiv come to Imo to vie for position.
But we can't rule out the tribal game that Awolowo and his AG introduced into our political sphere. Did Awo not fight for seccesion clause to be included in our constitution?. Having done everything possible to sabotage the seccesion clause, Zik later wanted to become the premier of South West. Zik had an agenda to subjugate the SW to another round of indirect colonization. Awo making sure this never happen, was the best decision of Awo's life. |

I am not Igbo but I live in Lagos and criticises Tinubu because both Fashola and Ambode performed far better than him. It is obvious the man was busy stealing Lagos dry to build a political empire and make himself Alpha and Omega for life.
Besides, what makes you jump into a conclusion that bashing Tinubu is propelled by tribalism ? Is the late Abba Kyari from Yoruba ? I have paid over #3m in taxes to the Lagos state govt in the last ten years but you feel I should not voice out if someone is using bullion vans to ship the money away ?
