EducationRe: Aregbesola Threatens To Expel Students ‘wearing Choir Robes’ To Schools by 8BitGee(m):
lamideee:
there are so many things wrong with that. He shouldn't have merged the schools in the first place. Is true we wine and dine together but when it comes to matters like these we just have to leave what belong to Ceasar to Ceasar. The school is a Christian school and so hijab shouldn't be allowed there. We all know it can never happen in a muslim school. Let's take private Universities in the country as an example, if a muslim is a student of a christian university then he or she knows he won't be able to practice his or religion there until when he is on break. Same goes for a christian that attends a muslim uni. When you get to Rome you behave like the Romans.
You are wrong, very wrong. Government has no business with religion. The duty of government is to guarantee the rights of citizens, including a right to faith. Bearing in mind the foregoing, that school is a government school not a private school. I hope you get my drift.

Furthermore, the Christians should rather challenge the court judgement than take laws into their own hands. People teach children bad blood today and when they go gung-ho on society tomorrow will come and tell stories.

Giyerte:
Aregbesola caused dis Shit. How will he mergerd Ansarudeen( a Muslim school with Hijab) with Baptist(a Christian school without hijab) together and expect peace.

Separate them and liv the school as it was before.

PERIOD.
There's absolutely nothing wrong in doing that. Why are our people so divisive? Weren't we all friends who lived, grew up and ate together? Don't we all go to the same markets, clinics and universities?

WTF is wrong with you guys in that country?!!!
EducationRe: Photos Of Osun Students In Church Garments by 8BitGee(m):
This really makes no sense. Muslims females wear hijabs every day and every time, Christians don't do that. This is petty, chaotic and divisive to be honest.

PoliticsRe: Dickson: We Can No Longer Fund Niger Delta Varsity by 8BitGee(m): 8:53am On Jun 10, 2016
I have heard people say divulge more power to the states. With what this man just said there's simply no justification for that. Rather, I think states should look towards IGR. The FG should also allow some of these states explore other resources rather than centralise it.

With the billions and billions allocated to this state every month, it should be a paradise on earth by now. These are the people the criminal militants should face.

Niger Deltans complain of marginalisation, ask, how many FG projects have been carried out in other regions? We are equally as "marginalised" as you, if not worse. We all have suffered from bad followership because leaders are born of followers.

tbaba1234:
The most senseless way to agitate is blow up pipelines. Nigeria can move away from oil dependence but the damage to the environment and the health of the people from pipeline explosions will last for decades.

And who is going to clean up the damage? Ogoni clean-up is paid for by the polluting JV. Who will pay for blown up pipelines? Certainly not a militant group.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: 500,000 Employed School Teachers Will Be Paid N23,000 As Monthly Salary by 8BitGee(m): 9:04am On Jun 09, 2016
Clearly, these jobs/empowerment/social intervention programme is not meant for people who think 23K is too small. How much do you get paid as a Corp member? Yet we taught and prepared lesson notes.

It's a social intervention program to cost government 138bn yearly in salaries, we have not factored in the cost of the laptops, running costs, staff salaries and logistics. You can gain teaching experience and cross to other schools if you get a better job.

What is the role of the NBA and NJC in whipping in place all these debased lawyers we have out there these days? The judge is absolutely right. Joseph Daudu is famous for filing frivolous motions, while Riki Tafa is known for bribing judges.

BTW, VP Osinbajo and Itse Sagay, we need special courts to try corruption related offences now!!! The regular courts already have too much on their hands!
PoliticsRe: This Is How Buhari Respected The Christian Faith With His Cap On His Head by 8BitGee(m): 9:04am On Jun 06, 2016
Summary of thread:

Ugandan: Why is Buhari wearing his cap?
People: Where is it written in the Bible that he must remove his cap?

Ugandan: But he's not got his cap off in respect for Christian faith!
People: You said that before slowpoke, where is it written that he must remove his cap as mark of respect?? We are Christians we don't take off our caps!

Ugandan: Ok, why didn't the murderers that killed the kano woman not kill her because of this?
People: OMG, where's the correlation? You said murderers killed her, isn't that enough clue? Surely, you're a Ugandan. Upside-down thinking is their hallmark. Fvck off twàt.

Me: Killing that woman is reprehensible, no one has the right, no matter what to take another's life. And those criminals must be brought to justice. But this thread is baseless, useless and pointless. OP is jobless.

PoliticsRe: Mega Cities And Super Creeks (pics) by 8BitGee(m): 11:34pm On Jun 03, 2016
These guys are bell-ends, IDK why we bother with them. FG allocates money to all states in Nigeria, some states especially in the ND get special treatment, yet they still lool like shyteholes. Hold your governors and local government chairmen responsible!

Pray tell, in the last 10 years, name 10 roads, just roads constructed by the federal government in Ogun, Oyo, Ondo or Ekiti? Not even Lagos with its commercial capital title can boast of this! And is it not one of the reasons people voted for the present government?

When thieves like Ibori, Alams, etc are heroes, what else do you expect? When youths rather than clamour for development, eschew development by fighting for criminals and blowing up development. What do you expect?

Buhari does not give me money, I don't know him, I have never met him, but I have faith in him and his ability to turn things around in my country. If he doesn't perform, I'll exercise my right and Godwilling vote against him! People should reason like humans for once.

You're asking government to diversify the economy or clean up your environment, but you're blowing up pipelines. Where the fvck is the money to diversify the economy, build infrastructure or clean up your environment supposed to come from?
PoliticsRe: Niger Delta Avengers Condemns Attack On Soldiers, Vows To Fish Out Killers by 8BitGee(m):
Joel3:
the Oil in the Niger Delta is what caused Nigeria problem. the problem in Nigeria is nothing but greed. there are people who don't just want the states in Niger Delta to grow ahead of them. example are the west and north. this two region are the problem of this country. socking blood.

let go back to the drawing board. the earlier we tell ourselves the truth. and the better for the future of this country. otherwise we will keep delaying the future of this great country. security should be a state or regional problem and not federal government.

if the yoruba in western Nigeria happens to be sitting on the Niger Delta oil well they wouldn't have allowed northerners to owned their well.

the people from Niger Delta are sympathizers of the Niger Delta Avengers. it will be a mission impossible. the Nigeria military can easily be picked without cover, ambushed or sellout by locals. read guerilla warfare from wikipedia.

I see some people telling buhari to crushed the Niger Delta Avengers. some of who don't even know what is called gorilla warfare. for those who are ignorant of it should go and watch Rambo First Blood movie by Sylvester stallone. one man can kill 2000 army. because you don't even know the people you are fighting or looking for. you might even drink with your enemy in the same bar not knowing.

the pictures below is want my dictionary say about federalism. is that what we have in Nigeria? let go back to discuss the 2014 confab.
Your post has no depth. It is filled with hateful lies, propaganda and empty rhetorics. I can already guess which part of the country you're from.

Some people don't want ND to grow ahead of them and there's 13% derivation, ND ministry with budget, NNDC with budget outside of the national budget, amnesty program, OIC CSR etc?

These "people that don't want the ND to grow ahead of them" are they the governors and local government chairmen in ND? Are they the senators and representatives of ND? Are they why ND states can't pay salaries? Or provide infrastructure for its people?

ND states regardless of population draw the most of allocation, yet.

Are people in the SW, NW or any other part of Nigeria getting extra any from the government! Are we treated any different?

Why do you keep blaming others for your irresponsibility, lack of foresight and illiteracy?

The Nigerian military must do its duty and curtail Niger Delta terrorists, that's the least we expect.

PoliticsRe: The Ogoni Circus Show And The Niger Delta Agitation by 8BitGee(m): 7:52am On Jun 02, 2016
The Ogoni clean up was birthed by the UNEP report from as far back as Jonathan's government. The implementation of the report was one of the campaign promises of President Buhari. It predates the criminality currently being perpetuated by the NDA. So really, I don't see your point.
PoliticsRe: The Avengers : Why Gun Boat Will Not Work. by 8BitGee(m):
It's silly and hypocritical for anyone to ask the federal government to "dialogue" with the Niger delta criminals. It is a criminal offence to undermine or attempt to break the unity of the Nigerian state. The military and security agencies are simply doing their jobs. The criminals must be brought to justice such that other groups don't think they can take up arms against us next time.

I'm not against agitations for infrastructural development for the Niger delta, but taking up arms is never the way to go.

Ask, they have local councils, state governments, national assembly members, NDDC, ministry of Niger Delta, amnesty program, 13% derivation, CSR by IOCs etc., what have they used all these for?

They are criminals with political backings, the military should deal with them ruthlessly. In fact, the national assembly ought to pass right now a law to punish vandalism, kidnapping and oil theft.

Enough of the blackmail! There's no reward for crime.

SportsRe: Kelechi Iheanacho With Ahmed Yusuf In 2010 & 2016: Refuting Age Cheat Allegation by 8BitGee(m): 12:55pm On Jun 01, 2016
wayodude:
I like Kelechi and I think he is generally a young guy who has a massive future ahead of him. I am proud he is ours!!

Now back to the 'debate'

Facts:

In 2013 (pre U-17 World Cup kickoff) MRI scans 'confirmed' he was eligible to compete. i.e The experts were satisfied that he was 17 years of age + or - 2yrs. So on this basis in 2013 it is possible he could have been between 15 and 19 yrs old.

The picture shown where he is wearing a Nigeria Football Jersey throws up some confusion. That particular Jersey was designed by Adidas for the Nigerian National teams in 2006. They were used by the Gold Winning 2007 U-17 Team of Yemi Tella which had the likes of Rabiu, Chrisantus, Oseni see that attached pic as proof. Compare the Jersey worn by Nacho and that of 2007 U-17 boys Chrisantus and Rabiu. There are the same abi?

In 2010 (Pre-world cup 2010) the National Team Jersey was still produced by Adidas but it was of a different design. This newer design was issued in 2008. Siasia's U-23s used this Jersey in the Beijing Olymipcs (See attached pic). The Jersey remained unchanged until the 2010 World Cup proper.

So if Kelechi played for a Nigerian team in 2010 he should at the very least have been wearing the same Jersey as the one worn by the 2008 olympic team. However, being that it was an under U-13s team he was playing for it is also possible that 'poor admin' reasons led to his team being given old kit to play in. This is Nigeria.

Conclusion: From the above evidence the worst case Scenario is that Kelechi was 13 yrs old in 2007 which would mean he is 22 yrs old now. Which would then mean he was 19 yrs old when he played the U-17 world cup in 2013, and this would explain why he passed the MRI scan test with the + or - 2 yrs margin.

Thank you.

You can now continue to fight yourselves.

PropertiesRe: Interior Architecture In Nigeria Is Very Bad by 8BitGee(m): 10:01am On May 31, 2016
OP, I agree 100% Nigerian architectural style is rubbish. You see people building all sorts of hideous structures, no style. Even the so called super rich. Clutter is all you see in their homes.

Again, lighting and wall colour choices (interior and exterior) are the worst I have seen anywhere in Nigeria. Good lighting can make ugly/inappropriate colours better, creating a good ambiance. Bad colours and lighting alters your mood and makes you want to kill sb! How do you decide to paint your home blue or red for heavens sake?

For things to be better, government needs to step in and partner with the artisan unions. You can't learn/pick up masonry, carpentry, painting or any other trade on the roadside anymore! We need training institutes and certifications for such people.
This will address the cause of this issue and other bad jobs that causes building collapse.

It is a welcome development. DPR should work with the marketers to ensure availability. The subsidy regime was a huge sink and avenue for corruption to begin with.
