TayserMahiri: Haha, you cant take anything away from Ghana. Even with all that historical context. The Ashanti is more popular than all your kingdoms combined, even if they started in 2000 BC what a dreadful lie. so it's only in name alone not rich history abi? Haha even with that you can't win this argument. Tell me something that's named after Ashanti. I have 2 things off the top of my head that other foreigners named after Benin. - Bight of Benin was named by the Europeans - a WHOLE COUNTRY was named after Benin you can't beat that. |

TayserMahiri: Oh little fella. Ghana's The Ashanti Empire is what should talk about here. Not your shitty empires
I love the Ashanti Empire, even the name is awesome. Not stupid ass benign History is a no go area if you don't want to get slaughtered mercilessly. I laugh at the bolded 500 years ago, when Benin empire was hiring mercenaries from Portugal, Ashanti empire was not even in existence. If you love the name so much, you should know that Ashanti wasn't the chosen name for Ghana. "Ghana" was a name taken from an empire in modern day Mauritania. btw Benin is not even close to the pronunciation of "benign". FACT: Benin was the name chosen by the modern day Benin republic as well as the name given to the entire coast (bight of Benin) fromGhana to Nigeria. That should tell you something. Get that in your head. |

It will soon work out.about 300 ethnic group with three major group of almost the same population is not logical. You cannot doust the flame and fuel it at the same time. |

TayserMahiri: Man, many of you don't even arrive. You die in the High Waters.
Frustration is the reason why you behave so reckless and erroneously believe you are proving a point. s Lol, that's one side of the coin brother. The other side is glazed in sweet honey Fact #1: Nigerians are the most educated group in the US beating all other African immigrants and native Whites, as well as Asians. Fact #2: The smartest ranked family in the UK are guess who....Nigerians Fact #3: A Nigerian student scored 5.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) at the Russian National Research Medical University, Moscow, a world record. Even what Russians can't achieve in their own country, Nigerians are coming in to grab the victory. Maybe not in the less special and countries that don't value human rights, but in the West, Nigerians are treated like KINGS. |

mtis: now thats a Nigerian mentality...yap they are white as it comes an are Kenyans...dont you dudes have other races in ya country its a question i do wanna have an answer please Of course we do, Lebanese, Indians, Chinese, and Germans. We also have a native Arab and Berber population, although small in number. But Nigerians couldn't care less honestly, Europeans tagged West Africa as the White man's grave cause they couldn't adapt to our tropical climate, vegetation, and warring kingdoms. They settled where they felt at home like SA and Zimbabwe. I think it's positive because we didn't have to endure their apartheid system, but they still cherish Nigerians for their class nonetheless . |

Nowenuse: Plateau state has the advantage because half or 65% of the state is on the mountains, while only 1 or 2 LGA of Taraba, Cross river and Adamawa are on highlands. true, although I would estimate close to 1/3 of Taraba is mountainous. A huge chunk of Cross river mountainous areas are protected as national parks and reserves so farming in high altitudes is limited. |

Joonana: wow, you have all these cities in Lagos city? What are the suburbs of Lagos then? can you name them too ..
The Kenyans and SA folks should help with the cities in Nairobi and Joburg respectively... I know Accra has only suburbs .. the other city in the region Tema, is not in Accra ..
i don't really understand this city within a city description .. yeah it's a bit confusing. Lagos doesn't really have clearly defined suburbs. Yeah Lagos/Eko during the colonial days was just Lagos island and immediate environs. Parts like Ikeja, Agege, Lekki, were all independent towns in their own right with their own kings. As Lagos grew, the city expands and the surrounding towns were absorbed. Lagos is a merger of towns and communities with Lagos proper being the island and the immediate surroundings. |

Nowenuse: LoL, we have not really tried to grow tea in Jos, i bet it will grow. If not in Jos, then in Kuru (which is even higher than Jos).
It's a very big shame on Taraba state govt that they are not harnessing Mambilla Plateau to the maximum, if not that state has all it takes to export tea.
We grow strawberries, mint, cauliflowers, broccolis, bressels sprouts, spring onions, lettuces and so many foreign fruits and vegetables in Jos. I wonder why they do not in Taraba. It's just a shame that our state and federal govt does not support the local farmers. It is gradually improving since the recession though. Yeah, Taraba even have a more temperate climate than Jos plateau, so I don't see why not. Jos, including other parts of Northern plateau have a suitable climate. Tea in Taraba is starting to pick up in terms of commercial quantities, although there is still a long way to go. Even parts of Adamawa and Cross river have elevations that are over 1,500 meters, although I think that of Adamawa will need extensive irrigation. |
