If you love the name so much, you should know that Ashanti wasn't the chosen name for Ghana. "Ghana" was a name taken from an empire in modern day Mauritania.

btw Benin is not even close to the pronunciation of "benign".
FACT: Benin was the name chosen by the modern day Benin republic as well as the name given to the entire coast (bight of Benin) from[b]Ghana[/b] to Nigeria. That should tell you something. Get that in your head.

It's only in poo xenophobic countries that they are blamed for drugs meanwhile the same apparent "bad" Nigerians are economically/academically successful in powerful Western Nations with human rights foundation which are better than and far ahead of the poo countries lacking human rights. Which goes to show that Nigerians simply aren't the missing link for the poverty, drugs, and unemployment in said poo countries.

Of course we do, Lebanese, Indians, Chinese, and Germans. We also have a native Arab and Berber population, although small in number.
But Nigerians couldn't care less honestly, Europeans tagged West Africa as the White man's grave cause they couldn't adapt to our tropical climate, vegetation, and warring kingdoms. They settled where they felt at home like SA and Zimbabwe. I think it's positive because we didn't have to endure their apartheid system, but they still cherish Nigerians for their class nonetheless .

true, although I would estimate close to 1/3 of Taraba is mountainous. A huge chunk of Cross river mountainous areas are protected as national parks and reserves so farming in high altitudes is limited.

some of the pics are from the IDPs, but one cannot ignore the pics from Biafra you included. For example the black/white picture of the malnourished kid was one of the poster child of Biafra. Many Nigerians can recognize it. Anyways I don't want an argument, I'm done.

Lagos doesn't really have clearly defined suburbs. Yeah Lagos/Eko during the colonial days was just Lagos island and immediate environs. Parts like Ikeja, Agege, Lekki, were all independent towns in their own right with their own kings. As Lagos grew, the city expands and the surrounding towns were absorbed. Lagos is a merger of towns and communities with Lagos proper being the island and the immediate surroundings.

LoL, we have not really tried to grow tea in Jos, i bet it will grow. If not in Jos, then in Kuru (which is even higher than Jos).

It's a very big shame on Taraba state govt that they are not harnessing Mambilla Plateau to the maximum, if not that state has all it takes to export tea.

We grow strawberries, mint, cauliflowers, broccolis, bressels sprouts, spring onions, lettuces and so many foreign fruits and vegetables in Jos. I wonder why they do not in Taraba.
It's just a shame that our state and federal govt does not support the local farmers.
It is gradually improving since the recession though.

Yeah, Taraba even have a more temperate climate than Jos plateau, so I don't see why not.
Jos, including other parts of Northern plateau have a suitable climate. Tea in Taraba is starting to pick up in terms of commercial quantities, although there is still a long way to go.
Even parts of Adamawa and Cross river have elevations that are over 1,500 meters, although I think that of Adamawa will need extensive irrigation.
