Elvinci101:Your mind is so fill with tribalism that you wake up drooling like a mad dog in the presence of flesh with heart consumed by bigotry. You just couldn't wait even a second to think before writing that post. If you think your region is immune from the headsmen terrorism, then you are foolish. |
Without providing ranches? Ranches are not free! Land is not free! Nothing is free! |
Where was the same Supreme Court when the Northern states disregarded the Nigerian Federal law and imposed Shariah Law? Unitarianism died with Sharia law. You can't have it both ways. |
LordviccoDaGuru:I guess the poor and destitute are meant to obey the law. Wake up and smell the coffee, stop worshiping the elites like they are gods. |
I can't imagine what 7 years under captivity would feel like and they never gave up even though the government has given up on them. |
IlovePMB:Replacing bigotry with bigotry. Algeria is a muslim-majority country yet the people are far more progressive than Nigerians whether christian or muslim. |
Sammy07:They can be separated! Fulanis are patrilineal so they know themselves even if others can't distinguish them from the Hausas. Also those states have a sizable Fulani population. Hausas are a minority in Bauchi. It's just that everyone speaks the language to communicate with the various tribes. |
It's a symbiotic relationship. Political subjugation in exchange for cultural domination. |
The population of Fulani speaker is clearly inflated. Half of Nigerian Fulanis can't even speak Fulfulde. |
MoxxxxO123:Where are the mopol when you need them? Busy collecting bribes |
lkillbrokehoes:He got the balls to free prisoners (not an act of bravery in the slightest) but he doesn't have the balls to attend the inauguration of his successor! |
ChelseaArmy:Wow, I couldn't digest the trash you wrote. I can't believe there are people who seriously think Tinubu is the leader that's going to turn things around in Nigeria? Why are you so invested in electing a dinosaur into office? If Tinubu gets elected, then expect 4 more years of boko haram, unstable electricity and more corruption. |
Jollylolly:Did you take geography? Kwara is perhaps the most Western-positioned state in Nigeria. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/82/Nigeria_Kwara_State_map.png |
Well, that's because Nigeria is not a democracy. It's an authoritarian country masquerading as a democracy. |
Hongkog:Actually, Saudi Arabia was not on the list of banned countries despite being the country with the largest source of terrorists in America. It's even worse because the same Trump, which you call smart signed a $350 billion arms deal with the Saudi Arabia in order to sell high grade weapons, which it can use to fight proxy wars in other countries and sponsor terrorists. I won't be surprised if boko haram somehow gets hold of US-made weapons in the near future. If you see global politics through the lens of Fulani terrorists, then you have a narrow perspective of global affairs. |
For that much you can get 24/7 electricity in a two bedroom flat in the UK for up to 5 months and that's in a country with high cost and standard of living. Pure theft when you don't even get stable electricity. |
Tinubu, one of the most hated people in Nigeria running for office. I wish we can elect a sensible leader in 2023, but unfortunately Nigeria is going to elect one of these corrupt dinosaurs from APC or PDP into office like usual. Rinse and repeat! |
Logan23:Which is a false assumption because everything oil is automatically linked with Ijaws. The oil in Ondo is actually mostly offshore in Ilaje coastal waters with some onshore oil wells in Ugbo kingdom. |
You would think after the kidnapping of the Chibok girls, they would have 24/7 military patrol of Chibok and surrounding villages. |
Mel003:Look at the pot calling the kettle black! And Arochukwu's role in selling Igbo slaves remains one of the worst atrocities of the transatlantic slave trade in Nigeria. |
LukasPodolski:Ilorin is 99.9% Muslim just as the sun rises in the West and sets in the East. |
Fahdiga:Until it becomes a problem of the South too. God forbid! |
So when inflation doubles overnight and the Naira loses half its value, why is the minimum wage unchanged? How can someone live on 30K a month? |
osuofia2:What worth is your marriage in the end when your abuser kills you? The collapse of the marriage has already started when you lay your hand on your spouse. Religion is not an excuse to lack common sense. |
Uchasa:Edo is not a major oil-producing state in Nigeria, so I don't know how this is about Yoruba greed of Niger-Delta oil. An average Yoruba commoner is not an oil baron and the actual oil thieves hindering progress of Niger Delta are more than united regardless of what tribe they come from. That's where your attention should be on. Some Yorubas claim some parts of Edo are Yoruba land, but they are wrong!!!! No inch in Niger Delta belongs to you thieves! You are just bitter and I don't know who hurt you. Identity cannot be imposed as long as there is free will to reject it. Yorubas don't have to "claim" Edo State to be apart of the Niger Delta as Ilaje in Ondo State are also apart of the so-called Niger Delta. But, on the matter of claiming parts of Edo State (I'm not talking about Akoko-Edo), there are some spillover Yoruba villages in Ovia NE and Ovia SW local governments near the border with Ondo State. You guys are blinded with our oil that's why you want to claim any ethnicity in the Niger Delta that has little similarity with you guys. Now we are talking! Is this your point all along? Yes Yoruba are so blinded by the insubstancial oil found in Edo State that's also disputed between the Binis and Ijaw. Does that even make sense? You guys should be contented with your 6 states and your cocoa, even the oil rich part of Ondo state is Ijaw land,so leave them alone.Actually Yorubas are native to 6 states in the SW + 2 states in the NC + the border villages in Edo State, so making a majority in 7 states and a minority in 2 states. You saying Ilaje is not Yoruba only contradicts the point you are trying to make. Here you are doing Niger-Delta attache by force with Ilaje people who have not expressed any reasons to indicate they are not Yoruba. Also the oil in Ondo State is offshore and the only coastal LGA that can claim the offshore oil in Ondo are the Ilajes. I hope you can heal and find happiness in life because you sound very bitter in your post. |
Uchasa:Who's claiming that Edo is Yoruba? The OP is not Yoruba or Edo, but pointed out his observations. It seems you are invested in making an argument where it doesn't exist. |
TinubuGoQuench:Jonathan was not ALLOWED to complete a second term? What is this? This is exactly what's wrong with Nigeria. People believe that the presidency or being in position of power is a right not a privilege granted by the people. Political reform is surely needed in Nigeria. I hope a revolutionary leader that's neither APC or PDP wins. |
The ego that some Nigerians abroad have thinking they are more cunning than the indigenes and can outwit the systems of other countries. They apply the same toxic mentality they brought from home abroad. |
Pension is pocket change, but a good first-step move nonetheless. Nigeria political system is structured to produce corrupt godfathers and dynasties. |
I'm actually for healthy competition. There can be regional economic powers too to put some attention in other region too. Anambra would need an international airport, cbd and be able to maximize its industrialization potential. Lagos is too congested as it is. |
God this God that, yet so evil behind the veil. |
Bkayyy:I just want to say I know Kwara very well and I've been to most of the lgas in the state and talked to actual Nupes. 1. I initially thought you were Nupe, but then I realized that even a Nupe from Kwara with a Yoruba-hating agenda couldn't lie with that much authority. When I see that you are Igbo, things make much better sense. 2. The circled map you keep parading around is ridiculous. Moro and Asa are Yoruba lgas, but I see you conveniently left that out to make Yorubaland smaller than it is. Yorubas is still the largest ethnic group in Kwara by both population and land area. 3. I find it funny you think Ifelodun is shared with Nupe. The Northernmost town in Ifelodun is Share, a Yoruba town and it's located right next to Tsaragi, a Nupe town. Tsaragi is Edu. By default and to avoid tensions, all the Nupe border towns are in Edu and the Yoruba border towns are in Ifelodun. 4. Ilorin East is actually one of the four Igbomina-speaking lgas in Kwara. At least half of Ilorin East is outside the proper Ilorin city. |
