But u are in d business of discussing other people with unknown people on d internet.

Is it safe to say that there's nothing in ur history worth discussing?
I am discussing PUBLIC figures on a PUBLIC forum...

I am not so insecure as to try to seek the validation of anonymous individuals on Nairaland...
Nonetheless, intelligent people recognize the reality extends beyond their own personal space. grin

Huh? shocked

Not exactly sure I what point you are struggling to make...
But I am the dude who stated above that education is NEVER wasted.

Nonetheless, if you are getting a degree solely to get a job...
Then the PERTINENT question is whether your degree is RELEVANT to the needs of the job market!

Nigeria, a geographic location where dreams are DESTROYED on a daily basis!
It’s ALSO a geographic location where an orphaned apprentice like Cosmas Maduka (Choscharis) becomes a billionaire...
Where the son of an illiterate tailor (and an ex-tailor himself) like Razak Okoya ends up a billionaire industrialist...
Where someone like Innocent Chukwuma (Innoson), with only a basic education ends up being a billionaire industrialist...
Where a self-described “village boy from Egbu” (a village in Owerri) like Pascal Dozie builds a successful bank...
Where sons of civil servants like Tony Elumelu and Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede become Africa’s biggest bankers and philanthropists...
Where a little girl from a modest family like Ibukun Awosika builds a furniture business and ends up on international boards...
Where a kid who was so poor that he couldn’t afford shoes for school ends up being the president of the federal republic!

We could go on and on infinitum...
But BEWARE OF THE DANGERS OF THE SINGLE NARRATIVE!!

-Despite having a Master’s degree, Yazid Surajo is a scavenger.

-He chose to do menial jobs rather than stay idle, waiting for a white collar job. He recently posted on his Facebook page, his pictures carrying some scrap and copies of his certificates saying ‘It’s better to die on your feet than to live on your knees, I would rather be dirty and satisfied than clean and hungry’.

- Daily Trust Saturday met with him in Lagos where he does his scrap business and he shed more light on how he was able to study to Master’s degree level despite the challenges he encountered.

The question is “Master’s degree” in what exactly?
Unfortunately, many Nigerians garner degrees and certification irrelevant to the job market or future trends.

Every so often, some LOW SELF-ESTEEM (possibly self-hating) person dredges up and/or writes a version of this drivel...
Nigerians should be building Nigeria for the sake of NIGERIANS, not to garner Oyibo (colonial and/or exploitative) ‘validation’.

I give Ghana all the deserved credit for maintaining relative national peace in a difficult region...
Nonetheless, the number of international aviation traffic to Nigeria is SIXTEEN TIMES greater than to Ghana. Perspective.

It is madness and insanity when you think countries that are beneath you are better than you.
Agree! It’s a LOW SELF-ESTEEM issue...

Nigeria GDP $448 Billion.

Ghana GDP $66 Billion.

Ghana can not survive without Nigeria's industrial output and goods and services.

Demarketing Nigeria is ignorance, self-loathing, self-destructive, unpatriotic and gross inferiority complex.

Failed errands.

grin grin grin
Bless you!
Just Lagos has more then twice the GDP of Ghana!!

Nigeria is not in any competition with Ghana.. Even though we do not share border but they are more closer to Nigeria than Benin and Chad.

We will always wish Ghana all the best as they have been wishing us from time immemorial

CelebritiesRe: Iyabo Ojo Questions Sanwo-Olu Over COVID Curfew (Video) by 9jaRealist: 5:21pm On Apr 19, 2021
CallMeDrino:
Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has challenged Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State over the 12am to 4am curfew imposed by the Federal Government to curb the spread of COVID-19, Igbere TV reports.

The mother of two expressed her displeasure at the discomfort caused by the curfew in a video posted on Instagram on Saturday, arguing that the restriction on movement was negatively affecting businesses and families.

She tagged Governor Sanwo-Olu and Vice President Yemi Osibanjo, asking them to address the issue urgently.

The 43-year-old added that policemen use the continued curfew as an opportunity to extort people.

Iyabo Ojo in November alleged that the government was after her life because of her participation in the #EndSARS protest against police brutality.

She said she woke up to a message from a friend that her name was being mentioned in government circles.

That came days after she publicly vowed never to support any politician in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) again.
Nigerians will brazenly break the law and then complain...smh

This is so commendable. I used to say to myselfy, if I had the opportunity to be governor, I would rather concentrate on maintaining existing infrastructures than embacking on white elephant projects.
If most inter streets roads were motorable in Lagos, traffic would be reduced to almost zero. There is traffic because of lack of good alternative routes.
Sadly, it wouldn’t...
Even the best roads are not immune to poor and impatient driving.

Since Gov Sanwo-Olu took over from his predecessor, he has embarked on massive road constructions through out Lagos State... And with the THEMES Agenda and it's progress, it's apparent that by the end of his tenure, Lagos State will be the top destination to visit in Africa.

Our focus on this thread is the LSPWC massive road rehabilitation.

Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC) is primarily saddled with the responsibility of Rehabilitating and Maintaining Roads in Lagos.

Since Gov Sanwo-Olu took over the affairs of Lagos State, LSPWC has indulge in massive road rehabilitation and maintenance through out Lagos Mainland and Island during the day and night.

With the pace and dedication, it's safe to say by the end of this year Lagosians will be witnessing zero portholes on our roads.

A look at the LSPWC twitter page will show you their daily schedules and progress.

The fact that it has been established the toll collection is the culprit for endless hold up in that area should be sufficient reason that tolling is never resumed
How can toll collection be the culprit of endless holdups?
And if it is, technology (cashless toll cards, etc) easily resolves it.

Time to erase the legacy of the hoodlums who stained the legitimate #EndSARS protest.

It will be good to put up a memorial plaque or statute there...
But it was NOT an #EndLekkiTollGatePlaza protest, and it’s time LCC EMPLOYEES got their jobs back!
