Zenithpeak: Eedris Abdulkareem is one of those who gave Festus Keyamo a soft landing in heart of Nigerians, especially, during the days of struggle against government of former president Olusegun Obasanjo. Eedris used his celebrity status to run a good PR for him and it latter pay-off for Keyamo.
We all know what Eedris went through because of that song until he was made to go and beg Obasanjo in Otta before he could walk like a free man on the street.
How time flies, Keyemo is now in high and lofty office whining and dinning with the same federal government he fought to a standstill and a fellow comrade is now asking for a return favour only for him to make him an object of ridicule...
There's nothing wrong in seeking help and connection from those who has the capacity to render it and there's nothing wrong in decline if the person is not favourably disposed to such request but it is utterly disgusting and shameful for anyone to upbraids on a favour he never granted.....
Keyamo's move is unnecessary.... Period! Tales by the Moonlight... Wind has blown and ALL of their arses have been exposed.PS: Btw, there’s everything WRONG with “seeking help and connection” from those who your song publicly indicts and/or identifies as part of the cabal destroying this country and looting its commonwealth. It’s known as COMPLICITY! Period!! > |

fkj950ax: Two things, or sorry three.
One. It is very unprofessional and irresponsible of Festus to post a private conversation in order to disparage someone elses character.
Two. The song touched on the EndSARS sore thumb of the government, hence the need for a total character assassination of Eedris.
Three Everyone in government today has one time or the other lobbied people in the corridors of government to get the current position the occupy and other favors. I am sure people also have messages Keyamo sent to them needing some government favors.
Something transpired between both of them that made Eedris single him out at the end of the song along side PMB (Continuity) and OBJ (It's your father that is jaga Java).
May our period of lobbying not be used against us in future. It more than “unprofessional and irresponsible” to beg someone for favors in private... Only to publicly castigate him in your music after he did not receive the sought-after favor. I mean, exactly how DUMB is the Eedris character? And if not for WhatsApp screen grabs, dude would’ve denied it. Only thieves seek monetary favors from thieves... The whole lot of them are leeching LOOTERS and rent-seekers! SMH > |

AsomughaChuks05: This post is rubbish. There is no discrimination of any denomination in Anambra politics. Anambra is the most religious tolerant state in the east. A Catholic governor usually goes with an Anglican/Pentecostal deputy in Anambra unlike what obtains in Enugu state for instance where Catholics occupy both governor and deputy governor positions and yet no body is making a fuss about that. Guess Anambra news sell better. You seem to think that’s “progressive”? What does it matter HOW they worship the SAME deity? How does that affect their job competence? Instead of merit, we elevate ephemeral things and then ponder why Nigeria is a dysfunctional s/hole! > |

CardiNice: I think it's high time Nigeria women and ladies stand up for child abuse that is currently going on in the country. The women actually have the power to make a change because the rate in which little children are being molested in the country is physically and spiritually alarming. This even involves babies and i think this was what the wife of AY was talking about that made her go through depression. The stealing of babies, kidnapping of girls then impregnating them to produce babies then this babies will be taking away from them to where God only GOD knows, what are they doing with those babies? NIGERIANS were attacking the wife of AY, they have no idea what is going on this country. The wickedness and the atrocities and the Evil going on in Nigeria is the exact reason why GOD Said he regretted creating Man.
An average NIGERIA man is so so so so wicked that even the devil Will shout Blood of Jesus. I am beginning to believe that the news of a secret hideout in Abuja where they rape girls on camera and record it on the darkweb is true if you go by the concern of the wife of AY. Where is DSS? Why can't they act like FBI in America? DSS is supposed to be an independent government security that has no influence by the government just like In USA.
We see that the FBI is now investigating the governor of new York in America, the Fbi had investigated powerful people like Trump, The clintons and powerful Americans in the past and have even persecuted them when found guilty, was it not two years ago that a billionaire was jailed for life in America?
How many times have DSS investigated and prosecute a notable rich man or politician in NIGERIA?
DSS have failed NIGERIANS. High time ALL Nigerians, not just “women and ladies”...it is NOT a gender issue. The misogynistic culture that pervades Nigeria (and regularly on display here on Nairaland) has to change!> |

Whiteangel1234: Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force and their counterparts from the Nigerian Army and DSS in a joint operation, in the early hours of today 24th April, 2021 stormed the operational headquarters of Insurgents (IPOB Militias) in Awomama Village Oru East LGA of Imo State.
The Insurgents are responsible for the attack on the Imo State Police Headquarters and the headquarters of the Nigerian Correctional Service on 5th April, 2021. They have also carried out series of calculated, violent attacks on security personnel and formations in the south east and south south of the country.
As the security forces approached the base of the insurgents, they came under rapid fire from the group. In a bold and clinical response, the joint security forces fought back gallantly.
The Forces eventually neutralized the overall commander of the insurgents in the Southeast popularly known as Ikonso Commander and six (6) other armed fighters of the insurgent group. Commander Ikonso is known as the Vice President designate as well as the coordinator of all the militia operations of the group.
He was the mastermind and coordinator of the attack on the Imo Police Headquarters and several other attacks on security and military personnel and facilities.
The operation is part of deliberate effort by the Police and other security forces to quel the activities of insurgents in Imo State and other States of the South East and South South region of the country.
After the fierce gun battle, the security team recovered the remains of Ikonso Commander and the six (6) of his fighters. Several sophisticated weapons including six(6) AK47 rifles, hundreds of ammunition of different caliber and lots of charms including bullet Proof charms were recovered from the insurgents.
At the time of filing this report, three policemen and one army officer are receiving treatment having sustained serious bullet injuries during exchange of gunfire with the insurgents. All those “charms” he was wearing didn’t work? > |
Romance › Re: The Moment You Ask A Man For Money You Are Cheap. by 9jaRealist: 6:53am On Apr 25, 2021 |
mekaboy: A guy meets a girl, they get her talking. He takes her out once or twice and the next thing she has a problem and asks him to help her with 30k to 200k.
Most guys out of shame will squeeze out the money out of their scarce resorces and give, hoping she will someday agree to have sex with them or date them.
While the guys that understand that money is a a medium of exchange for goods and service, immediately demand sex in return. They tell the girl to meet them in a hotel or home.
Then the girls will always use this line to blackmail the lily livered guys. " What do you take me for?" ," because of common 30k?" ," You can't give me 30k but you want to date me?" you think i am cheap?".
Yes dear, you are cheap. If it was that common you would have it. The guy goes out to exchange a product or service for that money. Why would you want to get it for free?
Most of these girls travel to other towns and sleep with strangers for money in the name of hookup for less.
Now a guy will toast them pay more for what they charge less in transaction.
The girl that would sleep with a guy for 20-40k a night, will now ask a guy for 40k favour. The guys gives, hoping for the same sex.
Tomorrow she asks for 25k, he pays. Next time she asks for 30k and he pays. Finally they have sex and thats it.
See how much he has spent when he would have asked for it in return from the first day she asked .
Now dating is different. When you are dating, you can give any amount to your partner as long as she is understanding.
But these girls that claim they want to know if you can take care of them by asking you for money, are runs girls. Don't be shy to ask for sex as soon as they ask for money.
Its better the friendship ends early enough and you save your money than to start paying. Because once you have paid the initial 30k, you will be hopeful, you will pay another 50k. And now you have invested 80k and you can't just walk away. You will still pay 100k.
So as soon as they start asking for that money, dont be shy to ask for something in return. Money is legal tender, used in exchange of goods and services. The only thing you owe a girl you are toasting is to take her out on a date. Buy her food and drinks. DUMMY! > |

Romanoff: No. Young people these days value happiness than endurance.
I don't think marriage should be measured by how long it lasted but by how happy it is.
Our parents, mostly our mothers endured a lot in their marriage. Abuse, lovelessness, infidelity, unfulfilled dreams and ambition, financial negligence just for the children.
These days, young people are not willing to live an unhappy life. That's why I said it takes two.
Forget, I have asked some old folks who have been married long, some widowed, some divorced and all I saw from their eyes and stories were unfulfilled dreams and unhappiness.
Sadly, it was when I asked them if they were happy that they said no. But for the children, they stayed. BLESS YOU AND YOUR PROGENY!> |

Arsenal Fans are complaining that they don't buy players but do you know that Arsenal borrowed 120m. pounds just to pay salaries? Where will they get the money to buy quality players? whereas to a them like Leicester, being in Champions league is a dream, no plans to keep coming. If Chelsea don't make Champions league every season, they make losses. Barca is in massive debt just to keep Messi and the likes. These guys deserves more money and protection from UEFA. You can't expect club owners to be using personal wealth to fund clubs, that is not viable economically. Football is not a charity organization. Why should they be in the CL next season, if they have a POOR season? Is CL their birthright? Are the best players their birthright? Even MEDIOCRE Arsenal? Do you think these clubs started out as the so-called “Big 6”? Why shouldn’t other clubs have a similar shot at UPWARD MOBILITY? Chelsea was frankly average before Abramovich’s billions... Man City was a nothing yo-yo club until oil billions from Abu Dhabi. A club like Leeds use to be the biggest in England... While Man United was playing in the second division This is one problem with the globalization of the game, and all of these JJC “supporters” who neither understand nor grasp the competitive strains and traditions of the game. Remove the competitive edge (of relegation and promotion, and competition for CL and other continental places) to the game and the league, keep all/most of the money to an oligarchy at the top ensuring that other clubs cannot retain their best players or otherwise compete with that oligarchy, and you’ve basically DESTROYED the game. Reference: Nigeria is the preeminent importer of goods and services on the continent. It cannot make sense to locate a logistics company outside our customs borders. It will simply make their goods more expensive to sell here.
They know this logic but the overwhelming challenges this country faces must have tilted their opinion away.
This is practically what we call the cost of doing business in Nigeria which Amazon will face as well. Nigeria is seriously hostile to investment. There are few things beyond the large but tragically poor population that attracts.
If we are not careful all future investment will amount to more than the production of diapers and 'durex'....if you catch the sad drift. With the onset of AFCTA, customs borders are largely irrelevant... Nonetheless, I agree with the ease of doing business argument. One of the world’s largest logistics companies (Agility, which is operational in over 100 countries worldwide) has been working on a logistics hub in Nigeria, and it’s been torture for them. I think it is unrealistic for Nigerians to think that every major multinational should be headquartered in Nigeria. There are so many (and sometimes peculiar) considerations in locating an office, and no nation (not even the US) will always come out it trumps in these decisions. Nigeria should primarily concentrate on creating a great business enabling environment for NIGERIANS! Attracting foreigners should simply be a ‘natural’ byproduct thereto. > |
