ProfDview1:
There is this lady I like so much, even my friends know that I like her so much and will love to spend the rest of my life with her.

One day, I saw her with my friend and I later asked her why she is so close to my friend. She said they are dating each other, that she cannot marry me simply because I am tailor.

My friend is a yahoo boy, he doesn't have any work. The only way he eats is via internet scam. To be honest I was so pained, moreover she is not the only lady to have done this to me. Have met several ladies that told me that they can't marry a tailor and they end up dating yahoo Boys for my street.

They always tell me to leave my tailoring job and go hustle like my frnds to make cool money.

Guys, I am tired.. Should I leave the tailoring job and join my friends to do the yahoo stuff?

Girls keep rejecting me up and down and I am fed up.

Pls advise me
My advice is that you should go thank whoever/whatever you worship...
It may not feel like it now, but you have just dodged a bullet and saved yourself a lot of grief.

Meanwhile, the best revenge is SUCCESS!
Keep working hard at your HONEST profession (and treat it as a profession, and not just a job).

Best of luck....
Something tells me you will have a GREAT life!

PoliticsRe: Obiano Inspects Bridge Projects In Anambra (Photos) by 9jaRealist:
sweetsell:
And some fools claim Peter Obi that never built a single bridge through out his pathetic 8 years performed beta than Obiano.

To the fools that claim Peter Obi saved money how much does it cost to build the kind of bridges Obiano as built in Anambra today ? I know this will be the third have seen how many did Peter Obi built or would have built with the money he claimed to saved. Note the news of the squirkie voiced Peter Obi as been debunked not once not twice.
Nigerians and bridge na wa o...

Apparently all that any governor/president has to do in Nigeria is to build a bridge or “flyover” and gets hailed, even if all else is falling apart. That’s why the Babanriga Banking exponent Gandollar Ganduje was being praised and canonized by many Nairalanders after he launched a few flyovers (even though the vast majority of his state’s population would be fortunate to afford an Okada ride). Meanwhile, people are now dying left, right and center all over his state while he argues that such massive fatalities are “normal”. Even Governor Umahi is building flyovers in a state with no significant vehicular traffic problems, while his citizens are poor, poorly- and/or largely-uneducated and lack basic healthcare.

Not holding brief for Peter Obi (the Good Lord knows he has rarely come across a microphone he didn’t like grin), but he concentrated on HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX, especially in education where he resolved the interminable never-ending teachers strikes, returned many schools to the original mission owners, increased educational funding and took the state from nearer to bottom of the WAEC and NECO standings to the top (or in that neighborhood). He also built roads and encouraged local industry (being the first state government to massively patronized Innoson Motors, located in Anambra State), and apparently left lots of money/assets in the bank for successive administrations.

Development is about PEOPLE, not things (especially White Elephant ‘prestige’ projects)...
Properly develop HUMAN capital, and you wouldn’t need to follow foreigners around to inspect a bridge. When they leave, who’d maintain it?

RomanceRe: My Wife's Sister Wants Me To Sleep With Her. by 9jaRealist: 9:18pm On Apr 28, 2020
ninety5:
Hi everyone, hope y'all safe. I am going to hit the road straight up.

My wife's sister, 24, visited us two days before the lockdown in Lagos and was hoping to travel in the next three days. Unfortunately for her, the lock down thwarted her plan.

Now, my wife, together with our 3 year old boy, always leaves the house during the day to go gossip with her friends, living only her sister and me at home.

The problem is, my wife's sister has been looking at me somehow, like she wants me to have sex with her. The other day she saw me and was smiling like I gifted her some money, like a fish. Yesterday, she wore a blouse that left her n.pples dangling back and forth as she walked around the house.

Guys please, I am in a dilemma. And, good god, the girl is finer and hotter than her sister, the gossip.

What do you want me to do?

No insult please.
Are you sure your Locked-down imagination is not running riot?! grin

Just make sure that simply because a female ‘relative’ (by marriage) feels comfortable around you, you are not mistaking it for sexual desire, as men (especially Nigerian men) often tend to have an over-inflated sense of their attractiveness to the opposite sex. Good luck.

You know what? About when Europe call Trump. I’m only telling you stuff based on Trump words in his daily Coronavirus update address. I watch it everyday or listen to it live on radio. Since about three weeks ago, Trump has said has been saying that he is receiving calls from countries around the world, Europe included to help with ventilator. He promised on live tv that he would be ready to help other countries with ventilator since they are beginning to have more than enough for stockpile for any future outbreak
You do know of course that Trump has well-established record of LYING and pulling stuff out of his keister? shocked

What’s the date of the news link you produced. The news was published on the 10th. That’s three weeks ago.

Everything I have been talking about are news from two weeks ago till date. So that your news link is outdated. I listened to daily New York governor corona virus update in his state. He used to cry for ventilator but not anymore. Trump has called him out on national tv claiming that he has solved the New York governor ventilator problem and every other governor as at two weeks ago.

While the issue of ventilator is over. What the US is facing now is testing kits supply to test as many people as possible. That’s the only issue they are facing as at today. Not ventilators

Again, thank News article was three weeks ago. It does not reflect the reality on ground since two weeks ago. Since two weeks ago, Trump has been bragging on solving ventilator problems and every governor involved has acknowledged that there has been not scarcity of ventilator.
While I was circumspect to specifically include “were” in my comments...
Each state has different ventilator needs, as Covid-19 has not hit each state simultaneously.

That’s why states were bidding against each other...
So do not extrapolate New York ventilator needs to all 50 states or the entire US.

More importantly, as Dr. Fauci and the now-removed CDC dude said...
There might very well be a second more difficult wave of infections in the Fall (autumn).

There’s NO news of the US donating ventilators to foreign nations...
If it sent ventilators, it would most likely start with its massive military bases abroad.

Black man mentality of I must not give others food unless I have enough to eat and throw away first.

The US has more than enough ventilator for now. No shortage of ventilator in the US. Why should Trump not give the excess to other countries that lack ventilators?

This is not about how well Trump has handled whatever. It’s about, I have excess. Let me share. A black man would never do the same
Abegi, quit with the RACIST SELF-HATE...
There are “black men” in the US government, and even the US Surgeon-General is a “black man”. SMH

Nonetheless, the reason the US invoked the Defense Powers Act to literally FORCE GM to produce ventilators is because it was desperately short of its projected need for ventilators. And even this month, many states are/were still scrambling for ventilators, offering to pay above listing price and to do so upfront.

Nigeria is more of a reactive country than a proactive country.

What is NNPC petrol station doing very close to Residential and Commercial buildings ?

Secondly, A 3 digit or unique phone number of police and fire service should be at the finger tip of every Nigerians incase of emergency like this. In the states the number is 911.... In Nigeria what is the number ? If telecommunication companies can have such customer care numbers like 111, 180, 121 etc, why can't the security agencies have it?

15 minutes after the fire incidence started, people were busy forwarding broadcast on WhatsApp and other social media, even the op created the thread calling for attention of fire service.

We need to re strategise and get it right for once.
The UNIFORM 3-digit emergency number throughout Nigeria is 112...
In addition, several states have additional 3-digit numbers (eg, Lagos has 767).

Don't worry I will get back to you and you will realise that all that you have written above MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE AT ALL unless if every other country is a PERFECTION OF HUMANITY and only Saudi Arabia is not.

And since you have mentioned the United States of America. I can start with that country and we shall see how fair they have been to their citizens irrespective of race and gender since over 200 years of independence.

Is driving a right or a privilege?

Going by OBJECTIVITY and not SENTIMENT what is the 2020 crime index of countries around the world. Which country fairs better, the UK, the U.S.A or Saudi Arabia?!!! And why?!!!
Why stop there?

Is voting a right (given that not every citizen is allowed to vote)?
So why not similarly prohibit Nigerian women from voting while only men vote?

Heck, since driving is not a right...
Why not prohibit the Ibos and Fulani from driving, and only reserve it for certain ethnicities?

Whether or not something is a privilege...
A civilized society does not grant or deny that privilege solely on the basis of gender.

Only a backwards feudalist society (or the feudalist religious industry) does that. SMH.

Growing up in the UK, I had been unofficially flogged (in the US, it’s called paddling)... cool

There’s work to be done in Nigeria, but women have been driving since the 1940s, women were at the 1950s constitutional conferences leading to Nigeria’s Independence, women have been in Nigerian Parliaments since the 1950s before Independence, Nigeria has had a female Chief Justice (acting), female CBN Governor (acting), female Speaker of the House of Representatives, at least 20 female university Vice-Chancellors, female CEOs and chairpersons, scores of female ministers, ambassadors, senators and representatives, even briefly a female Governor - while in Saudi Arabia a female cannot leave her house without a male blood relative or male ‘guardian’s’ permission (including from her own sons)!

You are busy celebrating women being “allowed” to drive in the 21st century (about 80 years after women in Nigeria were driving - and Nigerian women didn’t have to ask permission to do so), when they can do so ONLY with the prior express permission of a male ‘guardian’ - while Nigerian women have been flying commercial airplanes (including wide-bodied aircraft) since the early-1980s. Meanwhile, let’s not forget that the woman who led the campaign for Saudi women to drive (Loujain al-Hathloul) was arrested in 2018 (before lifting of the ban took effect) and is still in prison till date (about 2 years later) on unspecified charges, and has reportedly been repeatedly tortured. Some enlightened “progress” indeed!

As we write this, Saudi women cannot try on dresses in shops, have to use different public transportation and for the most part different entrances from men, and cannot seat with men in those few public gatherings they are allowed to attend. Saudi women cannot get passports or travel with the permission of a male ‘guardian’, and are not allowed to study abroad unless they are accompanied by a male blood relative throughout the period of their studies. All these of course pale into insignificance when pitied against the fact that this is a country that luxuriates in PUBLIC EXECUTION AND BEHEADINGS (with about 134 such public executions last year alone). I called them free slaves, because in their eyes, these western countries can do no wrong. Trust me, they prefer Africa in the state it is. They thrive in our ignorance. A slave has no identity. This is why excuses are always given for their slave masters, even when they are wrong.

Africans have an identity crisis, and until this is taken care of, we head no where. The worst mistake the Westerners have ever made, was allowing Africans access to the internet and cable TV. Their imperfection is now out for everyone to see. Unfortunately, the free slaves won't still see these things, with their slavery mindsets!!!
