Even if "households" was d criteria, how does zamfara have 291k poor households and Lagos just 14k? Even if u are registering and not everyone can get registered, how can Lagos have such low numbers with a population of 17million?

Zamfara has a 92% poverty rate...
While Lagos has an 8.4% rate, that’s how (2018 HDI Report).

Every country hv their local protocol/requirements for you to be able to practice medicine in that locality. For instance even if you are a prof of medicine in Nigeria and go to China you can't start treating their patients without fulfilling some requirements or exams.

About 12 yrs back while I was in the north the government brought some "Chinese doctors " and these guys where no more than a technician. Immediately they came and with few interactions with them we knw they were quacks. And they started killing pple in Broad day light... A friend the hes a doctor witnessed one case scenario where a patient came to that general hosp with neck pain only for the oyinbo to inject the patient in the jugular with anaesthetic drug and the man dropped dead immediately...
After killing couple of patients due to gross misconduct and mismanagement ppl stood up and chased them away.. but those life lost couldn't be replaced.

Since this COVID pandemic started, never heard the NMA mobilize its membership and even retired doctors as VOLUNTEERS to join in this virtually existential effort. It is only about allowances, threatening to strike and why import Chinese when the money could be used to hire them.
