FacilitatorLekk: I used the word 'withdrawal' of course redesign is normal, but every lay man knows you must allow the old currency while the new one spreads, and emeifele started this dumb policy of being able to withdraw 10k etc, all those things were meaningless, a waste of suffering by Nigerians, and it really shrank our economy. Please if you are a kid and needs everything spelt out to you like you didn't witness it, am done talking with you.
Emeifele withdrew currency from circulation by reducing amount of currency in circulation abruptly and so suddenly, which is unheard of in the history of banking, in the whole world...(those strategies are only used in times of war against an enemy entity)...limiting withdrawals to ridiculous amounts, leading to run on banks, protests in Benin, attacks on banks and staffs all those things are based on his negligence and he can charged for economic sabotage. No one cares why he did those things, he is an old man, the reason why he did them is his business, but those acts led to deaths, suffering, destruction and economic retrogression. Emeifele went against everything the CBN stands for. Even in America and UK, you will be prosecuted by the courts. Now I know you are an irredeemable bigot. He crippled the economy, that's not his job, his job is to boost the economy. Bye kid.
I see that you went back to MODIFY (in fact, virtually rewrite) your post AFTER my responses… Not only a case of intellectual dishonesty but an indication of very likely PERSONAL DISHONESTY! >
Archiever22: alaye calm down, foreign footballers that owns foundation and help their citizen in needs. Who 9ja footballers help. I cherish and praise those that are giving back to the society, may God continue to bless them.
Agbero, why don’t you “achieve” and form your own foundation?!
One of those Nigerians who not only cultivate a culture of entitlement to other people’s money, but have an obvious INFERIORITY complex… Kanu Heart Foundation, Asisat Oshoala Foundation, Joseph Yobo Charity Foundation, etc., are among many NIGERIAN players’ foundations.
May God continue to bless anyone who makes HONEST money! >
DUMB DRIVEL… The fact that this dude was once walking the corridors of authority in Nigeria is MORTIFYING!
The XENOPHOBIA of so many Nigerians are befuddling when MILLIONS of Nigerians (including Reno himself) live in other people’s countries, and earn their livelihoods (while supporting millions more Nigerians back in Nigeria) from being granted participation in the economic and business space in those countries. What if every nation where Nigerians live and work, and were many own professional and other businesses, decide to drive Nigerians away with the same sort of crude economic nationalism?! The stark IRONY is that the dude is pontificating about how remittances are the largest source of forex into Nigeria, when that is only made possible because other nations grant Nigerians access into, and participation in, their own economic space.
BTW, Shoprite Nigeria is a 100% owned Nigerian business, since Tayo Amusan’s Ketron Investment bought the business upon the exit from Nigeria of the original South African parent company. Shocking that Reno the Driveler is apparently unaware of that.
Meanwhile, why stop at MTN Nigeria? It is because it is majority owned by fellow Africans (the South African MTN Group)? Why not chase out Airtel (majority owned by Bharti Airtel) and handover sole MONOPOLY over GSM services to Mike Adenuga?! >
FacilitatorLekk: I don't engage tribal bigots, you and Almajiris no difference...the fascists zombie nature is always inherent in bigots.
Huh?!
While I usually ignore folks who resort to personal ad hominem attacks and insults… Since it merely betrays their lack of a substantive argument and a CRUDE FAMILY UPBRINGING.
What’s “tribal” or “bigoted” about my comment? Or is this what Oyibo would call PROJECTION?!
Perhaps your dogged campaign against Emefiele is based on more than just “untold hardships”! SMH >

Emeifele withdrew the currency from circulation for no good reason, it's dumb, he crippled the economy, that's not his job, his job is to boost the economy. Bye kid.
Emefiele’s CBN gave Nigerians 10 weeks to exchange old for new notes… President Buhari in 1984 gave Nigerians only TWO WEEKS to do the same.
The CBN redesign policy under Emefiele only involved SOME denominations, so others remained in circulation… President Buhari’s policy in 1984 involved ALL denominations of the Naira, which is the epitome of real “currency withdrawal”.
Emefiele’s CBN sought and received President Buhari’s approval for the policy, as required by RULE OF LAW… Meanwhile, President Buhari went on national TV and in a national broadcast defied the Supreme Court on the matter.
But Emefiele is the problem?! > PS: Btw, still awaiting your response since your angst against Emefiele is supposedly based on “untold hardship” on Nigerians… Should treason charges be levied against those whose subsidy and forex policies is visiting “untold hardship” on Nigerians?! >
FacilitatorLekk: He is the captain of the ship, stop capping, no CBN governor has ever done what Emeifele did. No where in the world have I ever heard of total currency withdrawal, that was an evil policy, he went against his oath of office.
Dude, start capping… Because you need to get out more if you’ve never heard of currency redesign/exchange.
There was NOT a “total” currency withdrawal… Not least because only certain (NOT all) denominations of currency were involved.
Like I said, the implementation was flawed but the policy itself wasn’t… Of course, it also had the effect of limiting (NOT eliminating) vote buying by politicians. > PS: Btw, in 1984, under the same Buhari… Nigerians had only TWO WEEKS to change from old to new notes, but you think Emefiele is the problem. >
FacilitatorLekk: He undermined our national security by the thoughtless currency withdrawal, making Nigerians go through untold hardship, that is undermining national security...it could have led to revolts etc...
If “making Nigerians go through untold hardship” undermines national security… Then the current government that enacted subsidy removal and exchange rate unification would be charged with treason!
Sometimes, even good economic policies result in immediate hardship… There was NOTHING fundamentally wrong with the currency redesign policy, it was just its implementation. >
FacilitatorLekk: He undermined our national security by the thoughtless currency withdrawal, making Nigerians go through untold hardship, that is undermining national security...it could have led to revolts etc...
First, the CBN Gov does not act alone… The decisions are those of the Board of Governors (including the current acting Governor).
Second, the currency redesign process required/received the President’s approval… And it was the President who made a national speech defying the Supreme Court, but is walking free in Daura!
Finally, even poor monetary/currency policy is NOT a crime… Yet again, if making poor or bad policies in Nigeria is a crime, the prisons would be JAMPACKED! >
FacilitatorLekk: This is a democracy, if he allowed Buhari to force him to do what he is not supposed to do, that's his irresponsibility. Buhari is not the CBN governor, emeifele was...why didn't he resign or raise alarm?
And what exactly was Emefiele’s “crime” that he’s been detained indefinitely?! Is it the bailable ALLEGATION (as yet unproven in a law court) of the “unlawful” possession of a gun?
It surely couldn’t be for the CBN’s monetary policies… Since the CBN is not a one-man organization, but acts through a Board of Governors (including the current acting CBN Gov).
Meanwhile, if bad policies were a crime… Then the MAJORITY of persons who’ve served in government in Nigeria (particularly since 2007) should be locked up! >
jackcanfield: The victim is not reduce to an afterthought, the murder doesn't look premeditated,of course we all gonna check out of this world someday, I think of that everyday praying my day will come and pray it be easy, of course my condolences and feeling is with her mother .
jackcanfield: I really feel for him, everything going fine suddenly one stupid mistake due to anger ... unfortunately he can't rewind time .... sometimes it is better to live alone if you can't deal with your demons. He should get a good lawyer and appease to the girls parents.
It’s the MURDERER that you “really feel for”… The VICTIM is reduced to a mere afterthought. SMH >

MrLight10: This move is an excellent one, people are saying do this will create another insecurity, the government can create another policing body that will be in charge of Taking care of VIPs , and must pay them from their own pocket simple.
No, the government shouldn’t… Let them pay for their own private security.
If government provide good security for all… Those so-called “VIPs” will be protected along with everyone else. >

On July 4, Arsenal Women FC announced the signing of Alessia Mia Teresa Russo with a Nigerian 1970s Africafunk-AfroRock music by Goddy Oku's The HYGRADES.
Earlier in the year, United had turned down two world record bids for Russo, before she left for North London on a free transfer.
Russo previously played for Chelsea Women, Brighton & Hove Albion Women and later United Women where she made her mark scoring 22 goals in 46 appearances.
She plays as a forward and has represented England internationally at all youth age group competitions.
She is a UEFA women's champion with the English National team where she has scored 11 goals in 22 games.
Sonos also made a commercial a few years back with the same Hygrades’ song (see link below)… I hope his family or estate (Selebobo is his kid) are getting residual checks, but I suspect EMI owns the song rights.
Looks like Igbo people just find that word in dictionary 😆 Why do you believe people have phobia for you?,Are you evil?
Instead of being befuddled by such a basic term… Perhaps you should look up the term in a dictionary - while holding a MIRROR! > PS: And while at it… Feel free to also look up FRAUDULENT! >
