Retards every where She says “life is good” because she can put food on the table always (a virtual feat in Buhari’s Nigeria), in addition to her skin glowing and ass growing, but the obviously frustrated OP and misogynistic Nigerian males picked out only one thing and vented their frustration and misogyny. |

Now I wonder why she's hated on this forum, I had assumed she had a really terrible personality from the way Folks here talk about her in disdain only for me to be undecided after watching her for a bit in the house.
Bottom line: There are a lot of sad and frustrates people in Nigerian and on NL Just saw this post. Great minds think alike. |

Kirinwa: I am looking at the clean cars being parked. In Nigeria we are saddled with cars that eject fumes up and down. In abroad you will be fined for such or possibly jailed as they take life and health issues seriously.
That was how one bus blinded us the other day with thick smokes not to talk of the accident that could have happened. Not exactly true... Emission standards are for car manufacturers, so your car will only emit such fumes if there’s something wrong with it. |

SadiqBabaSani: Lagos Will continue to house/Headquarter the IOCs, That is how Unjust Nigeria is to the smaller ethnic Groups How is that “unjust”? In the UK, for example, both Shell UK and BP are headquartered in London (where there is NO oil/gas). A corporate HQ is an administrative hub (distinct from operational hubs), and thus most often located in close proximity to each country’s financial, accounting, management consulting, legal, advertising and such other related corporate capitals, as well as the easiest location of skilled management talent. Furthermore, for multinational corporations proximity to foreign embassies/consulates is an added advantage. Of course, to be brutally frank about Nigeria, given the brigandage prevalent in most of the Niger Delta, multinationals are well-cautioned to maximize the safety of their staff (additional insurance costs alone would be quite considerable). |

fireinmyborns: I laugh in swahili. How can there be maintenance culture, when construction contracts are awarded in government houses to portfolio carrying politician contractors. Its is absolutely wrong. Each state can create 5000 additional jobs by ensuring that each ministry and department of government works. Someone will ask me how are they going to be paid, local authorities will collect levies, fees, fines etc. If all traffic offenders within a particular locality are fined, it will be enough to pay workers. Lagos has a Public Works Corporation that patches up potholes and maintains road furniture (street lights, guard rails, etc) on state roads. LASPARK (the Parks and Gardens agency) also offers tree emergency (that is, calls to remove fallen trees) and trimming/maintenance services. |

somehow: His brother playing at Panathinaikos bear same surname with him.
Well i understand your other points. too bad he can't play for us. he's very good, watch him alot at Bucks. He's their leader there! Of course, all of the brothers born in Greece (including Thanasis) now have Greek passports written in Greek letters... However, the surname of his eldest brother born in Nigeria (Peter) is spelt “Adetokunbo” (same as the parents, who do/did NOT have Greek citizenships and thus have NO Greek passports). Nonetheless, however spelt, the surname remains the same - because it is a Yoruba name! |

slam7000: Giannis is one of if not the only inspiring story for black people in Greece especially Athens. People know and respect him not just because he is super athlete but he speaks Greek fluently as well. I’ve met some Nigerians here in Athens and their experiences will make your heart bleed. The police are generally not very friendly. I’ve been told to carry my passport all the times which I find very inconveniencing. If you get arrested on a day like today on immigration grounds, you’d be most likely be released on Monday. Few weeks ago, a Nigerian guy was killed by some group of police men, conducted quick and fake autopsy on him and said that he death was due to cardiac issues...a man saw them beating him btw.
Athens and Greek would continue to be not very welcoming for blacks except you are talented and gifted like Giannis or loaded and on a holiday. I hear you bro... |

somehow: Having a Nigerian flag means nada, alot of oyibos bought our SE jerseys at the last worldcup, does that make them Nigerians?
He doesn't even have a Nigerian passport, never been to Nigeria, never played for us, never intended to, he's greek and there's nothing like an error in his surname. It was done deliberately because all his other brothers bear same surname! They all play basketball! No, they don’t - only the ones born in Greece... His eldest brother’s name is spelt Adetokunbo and so does his PARENTS (who did/do not have Greek nationality). Btw, it is not a requirement to have been to Nigeria to be Nigerian. The only requirement for Nigerian citizenship is that one of your parents is Nigerian. In fact, one does not even require a Nigerian passport to be Nigerian. Thus by definition and by law, dude is Nigerian regardless of whether he has been to Nigeria, played for Nigeria or intended to play for Nigeria. Akeem Olajuwon played for the US but is undisputedly a Nigerian, so the country that one elects to play for is IRRELEVANT in determining nationality. Meanwhile, it’s interesting that of all of the international flags that the dude can have on his Twitter, Instagram, post discussing racism, and his team’s training facility, including the flag of the US where he resides and earns his living, he specifically choose those of Greece (where he was born and raised) and Nigeria (where his biological parents came from and where born and raised), and yet it supposedly have no bearing on his SELF-IDENTIFICATION. |

somehow: So if you move to Germany, your name is then spelt in German and you no longer have your normal spellings in your passport?
Udeze played in greece for years and never was his surname spelt in Greek on his passport.
We have foreigners playing everywhere in the world with their names boldly written as known worldwide, none changed to a foreign spelling!
Oscar remains Oscar even in China Same with Paulinho and Hulk.
So why that of Giannis? Because it is a Greek national passport - and so the names are written in Greek alphabets. While the pronunciation remains Adetokunbo, re-writing those Greek alphabets in English gives you Antetokounmpo. |

Originalsly: Hmmm...... do.we really believe a device can scan for people alive under rubble? Whoever signed off on buying the device need to be shot. When there are earthquakes etc in technological advanced countries... do we ever hear of this kind device used?...or is it we are more advanced ? The most we hear used are specially trained rescue dogs and listening devices. One would expect them to rush machinery to remove the heavy rubble a d spades and bu kets maybe wheelbarrows for people to remove the rest...but noooo.... we go high tech. Ok...somebody is 5 M under the rubble...then what? Nonsense. The reflexively negative mindset of some Nigerians can be quite irritating... Anyone watching the rescue efforts would have seen the machinery to excavate heavy rubble and debris. And yes, these sorts of devices are used in technologically advanced countries. We are not the children of a Lesser God. |
