Kashamu only wanted to be Governor to get immunity against posdible NDLEA extradition... |
sonature1:He was picked by INEC, not the PDP. The PDP fought him all the way in court and some PDP bigwigs even ended up endorsing Dapo Abiodun. |
So Jeremiah Useni is still seeking political office 21 years after Abacha’s death? Do these folks not have anything useful to do than to greedily suck on the tities of Mama Nigeria? |
olisaEze:Well said! Anyway, it is said that someone cannot Richard you from behind unless you are bent over, and the way some supplicants are busy defending this dude here epitomizes just how some Nigerians are eager to grab their ankles for politicians. |
BluntBoy:YES of course, I can walk behind Trump on any day before he became President... Abegi, quit worshipping this dude. He’s neither a Trump nor Davido. He was not even Governor-Elect yet, just some dude begging the same persons his purse-carriers are slapping around for employment. SMH |
thatigboman:She was in both. First, House and then Senate... She’s only mad at Bukola because he blocked her gubernatorial ambition. Silly family politics. |
Replacing a better Saraki with a worse Saraki...PROGRESS!! ![]() |
OlawaleSmarter1:If anyone wants to shoot him they don’t need to walk directly behind him... Politicians everywhere (even in the US with its extreme gun violence) walk into crowds and shake hands, take selfies and even kiss the proverbial babies. When will you people stop worshipping politicians/public servants and putting them on unwarranted pedestals. Yet same people will moan when these crude rent-seekers treat the public purse as their personal property and ordinary citizens as serfs and peasants. |
BluntBoy:Actually, fans jump on stage and hug Davido and Wizkid all the time... ![]() Nonetheless, quit comparing Apples with Oranges. This dude is no star and is campaigning to be a PUBLIC SERVANT, which means that he will effectively be employed by the same CITIZENS that his professional purse-carriers are slapping about (I don’t imagine you yourself would go to a job interview and slap the employer). Unfortunately, some Nigerians still don’t get that basic relationship between public servants and citizens, but rather keep prostrating for public servants as if they are some sort of Kabyiesi, and thus leading them to treat you with contempt! SMH |
inioluwaDaniels:No, that’s a Life Escape. Use it, and you will escape staying alive. |
Dude has not even become Governor yet, and his personal purse-carriers are already slapping CITIZENS for getting near him... ![]() If/when he actually wins and is sworn-in, I pity any car that comes near his motorcade. Meanwhile, look at people actually defending him with obtuse drivel like “that’s his security” and “fake news” (even with video-taped evidence, a la Gandollar), and you see “Sh*thole” mentatility! |
RIP. Meanwhile, look at Ayogu Eze’s house, a dude who was merely a journalist before getting into politics. |
ZOO! ![]() What sort of nation puts its most educated young people in harm’s way while illiterates actually decide who rules?! |
SURElee:Social Media Nigerians! Celebrating wedding instead of marriage. SMH ![]() |
McStoic:Same difference ![]() |
shadeze:Whoside? ![]() Davido’s “Fall” is at 116 million views on YouTube, while “If” is at 78 million. Just one of Davido’s or Wizkid’s endorsement deal earns more than Sinach makes in a year. Btw, Yemi Alade’s “Johnny” is at 101.5 million views. |
Meanwhile... National Museum Onikan National Theatre Iganmu National Stadium Surulere National Stadium Abuja Independence House, etc. ...are all in need of attention and maintenance. SMH |
maasoap:Which National Library? The one they have been building in Abuja since before I was born? Meanwhile, the National Museum Onikan, the National Stadium Surulere, the National Theatre Iganmu, etc., are poorly-maintained. SMH ![]() |
NOC1:Actually, it was NOT funded or built with taxpayers’ money. In fact, the protest was that it was funded by corporates and contractors who stand to benefit from the Obasanjo administration. |
babyfaceafrica:It is this sort of mercantile mindset that will deservedly confine Nigeria to further generations of underdevelopment. ![]() GOVERNANCE is not only distinct from partisan politics, but neither should be treated in the same manner that we treat trading - you invest and then “reap” rewards. GOVERNANCE should always be about public service and any/every available personnel asset should be utilized, regardless of whether or not they are carrying party cards. SMH |
SolutionMee:There is a new Assembly Plant/Temp Depot for these new buses at Awoyaya in Ibeju-Lekki. Future batches of the buses will be built here, but meanwhile it will handle repairs and maintenance, along with the Depots at Oshodi (which Ambode is inspecting in the picture) and at Yaba. |
BOOMnaija:With all due respect, PLEASE STFU! ![]() A 13-year-old is a minor under the law and, just like she cannot enter into a binding contract, she cannot legally consent to anything. SMH |
spiritofthedead:This is not about being angry since it’s not the first (or only) time he’s beaten her. |
Omonigeriarere:And what happens when the woman discovers the man “fornicates” (presuming you mean cheats)? |
sotall:Being a parent is a privilege and not a right, and dude pissed his privilege away. ![]() There is a distinction between being a father and a parent, and while virtually anyone with virile spermatozoa can become a father not everyone can be a parent in the meaningful sense of the term. In this instance, the kids will be better off being orphans than being raised by a father who can kill their mother, who he apparently beats up regularly (most likely in front of the kids or at least to their hearing), and then locked the corpse with the same kids in the house. Meanwhile, it is likely that (like most Nigerian families) there is extended family who can raise the kids (hopefully from the mother’s side rather than the dude’s), for even if he was not sentenced to death he would likely have been sentenced to life imprisonment anyway and the kids would therefore still be likely raised without a father in their lives. Good riddance to bad rubbish! |
Focusmind:Jelani Aliyu, who designed the globally-renowned Chevrolet Volt, came back. Funke Opeke, top of her engineering class at Columbia University and an Executive Director at Verizon, came back. Obinna Ukwuani, another top of the class graduate from MIT and creator of robotics academies in several countries, have also come back. And there are several others (and these are just the ones that I personally know of). Nonetheless, I would always encourage anyone who has the opportunity to spend some time working and gaining critical experience abroad after their education (and obviously the better academic credentials one has, the better and greater opportunities one is likely to have) to do so before returning (in the event that they want to return), because what would most benefit Nigeria are world-class skills and capacity, not just academic knowledge and/or raw intelligence. Furthermore, to reiterate my previous assertion, one does NOT have to be physically domiciled in Nigeria to contribute to Nigeria, and so long as folks can make a substantial and/or substantive contribution, wherever domiciled, then Nigeria has actually NOT ‘lost’ those persons. |
I stopped reading at “I just met this girl recently....”. |
husbandsnatcha:If you had to go all the way to Niger Rep for some Richard... ![]() |
NOHOLDSBAR:A true case of “assume” equating to putting an a55 in front of u and me... ![]() |
People are developing Artificial Intelligence elsewhere, while in Nigeria old men are “inventing” slogans... ![]() |
Tricked? Abegi, leave matter... |
Rankadede mentality... The biggest impediment to progress in the North. |
