I agree with you but they are not coincidents but rolled out plan orchestrated to give the opposition bad name without minding the children being killed. Here is a confession from MEND leader. http://www.punchng.com/news/jonathans-agents-carried-out-two-bombings-okah-insists-diezani-called-me-20-times-to-be-made-minister-•-allegations-are-false-in-their-entirety/ Jonathan’s agents carried out two bombings – Okah insists “Diezani called me 20 times to be made minister” • Allegations are false in their entirety – Presidency MAY 3, 2012 BY EMEKA MADUNAGU AND OLALEKAN ADETAYO Henry Okah and President Goodluck Jonathan Detained leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, Mr. Henry Okah, has insisted that President Goodluck Jonathan’s agents sponsored the March 15, 2010 and October 1, 2010 bombings in Warri and Abuja respectively for political considerations. Okah made the allegation in a 194-paragraph affidavit deposed to in the South Gauteng High court in Johannesburg, South Africa in Case No: A570/10. The allegations first came to light in an interview Okah granted Arabic satellite television, Aljazeera , in October 2010, weeks after the blast. In the interview, he blamed the attacks on Jonathan’s aides and claimed he was arrested for refusing to influence MEND, to retract its claim of responsibility. Since then, Okah has been denied bail at least twice, with one at the South Gauteng High Court, Johannesburg, where he is filing a new application for bail based on “new facts.” The sworn affidavit was expected to be filed at the court between Tuesday and Wednesday as part of his renewed bid to secure bail, after spending more than one year in a South African jail. His trial is set to start on October 1, 2012, exactly two years after a devastating blast that occurred less than a kilometre from the Eagle Square in Abuja, where Jonathan was attending Nigeria’s 50th anniversary. He said the March 2010 car bomb blast (which he said occurred on March 14, 2010) at the Government House Annex, Warri, where South-South governors were attending an amnesty meeting, was intended to pave the way for the removal of Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, and his replacement by the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe. “It is my belief that President Goodluck Jonathan’s government working with a faction of MEND planned and executed the bombings of 14 March 2010 and 1 October 2010. “The purpose of the 14 March 2010 bombing in my opinion was to create an atmosphere of insecurity in Niger Delta where President Goodluck Jonathan at that time, was fighting to oust the governor Mr. Emmanuel Uduaghan whom President Goodluck Jonathan intended to replace with his Minister for Niger Delta, Mr Godsday Orubebe,” Okah said in the affidavit. On the Independence Day bombing, which claimed 10 lives, Okah said it was meant to sway public opinion against the North and some of its leaders who were planning to run against Jonathan in the April 2011 presidential election. Okah has been held at the Johannesburg Prison since October 2, 2010, and is currently standing trial for alleged involvement in the October 1 bomb attack. He alleged that Jonathan was upset when MEND claimed responsibility for the October 1 attack, against a plan to blame it on Northern elements. He stated, “The bombings of 1 October 2010 were also intended by President Goodluck Jonathan government to create anti-North sentiments nationwide in order to galvanize support from other sections of Nigeria against other Northern candidates in the Presidential election. “Under the arrangement, MEND, I believe, was not to claim responsibility for the bombings which the Nigerian government hoped to pin on General Babangida and other Northern elements. The claim of responsibility by the central group for a bombing, possibly carried out by a faction of MEND, punctured the plans of President Goodluck Jonathan to round up his opposition and hold them in custody until after the elections.” He claimed to have come under pressure from some of Jonathan’s aides to get MEND to retract its claim of responsibility for the bombing, recalling that his “refusal to cooperate in this scheme resulted in President Goodluck Jonathan placing a call to President Jacob Zuma during the evening of 1 October 2010, requesting President Zuma’s personal assistance in securing my arrest. My noncooperation was interpreted by President Goodluck Jonathan as support for the Northern politicians. “The South African Government’s direct interference was responsible for securing search and arrest warrants against me.” Okah also claimed to have influenced Jonathan’s appointment of Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke as minister of petroleum resources, at the prompting of a Jonathan aide. He alleged that between April 4 and 5, 2010, he received approximately 20 calls from Alison-Madueke, asking him to “put in a good word for her” with Jonathan to consider her for the position. He also countered evidence and public statements by the SSS detailing his alleged involvement in the October 1 blast. Okah provided telephone numbers used by Jonathan’s aides and Alison-Madueke in reaching him |

berem:I am so proud of Rochas Okorocha for being different from those fools parading themselves as Igbo leaders and making us 3rd class citizens in our own country. Come next year there will be power shift from killers to builders and I am glad some Igbo men like Ngige and Okorocha are builders. |
Imo State Governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha, on Monday declared to run for the presidency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC. In an emphatic statement, the Governor said, “I will be Nigeria’s President in 2015″. He made the declaration at a rally organized for him by the Enugu APC at the Igbozurume Hall, in Emene, Enugu State. The Governor said Jonathan is not an Igbo man and that the PDP-led government had consistently marginalized the people of the South-East. According to him, Jonathan is not from the South- East, the Vice President is not from here, the Sen President, the Speaker of the House of Reps, the CJN, the IGP, the security chiefs, none of them is from the South-East. “Igbo people have no place in Nigeria, how can we say that PDP belongs to Ndigbo, Niger Bridge is 419, Enugu/Onitsha and Port-Hacourt Express way are all evidence of their hatred for Ndigbo; they don’t remember the poor, all our leaders in PDP are only interested in their pockets, they don’t care about our children’s education. “We are angry and we said we have to come out; in Imo State, poor people are happy now, they study from primary to university without paying penny; our God passes their God, if what they are doing to poor people here is good, let them continue but if it is bad, God will uproot them”. He continued that, “In 2015, I will be the president of Nigeria, I have gone to Kaduna, I have gone to lagos, I am in Enugu today, they are already afraid; they are now calling for dialogue. “If they are discussing those contesting for presidency under the APC, Owelle will be the first, Buhari and then Kwakwanso; they said it was zoned to the North, I told our party, when did the meeting take place? I then also had to meet with my brother Ngige and we zoned it to Ndigbo. “APC is an emergency party for new Nigeria, if PDP is doing well, I won’t have joined APC, when God wants to do something, he does it from anywhere, it doesn’t matter whether Nwobodo, Ken, Nwodo, Ekweremadu are with us or not. I heard that some of them are boasting of money but tell them that Rochas has come; any day you hear that PDP brought money with pick-up, tell me so that I will bring money with trailer, all these PDP leaders in South-East, if you put their money together, it is not equal to half of my money. “Somebody told me that our party is popular in Enugu but that there is no money, I have come to Enugu today, you will see the difference, go back to your ward and campaign”. In a remark, Senator Chris Ngige lauded Okorocha, who he said God had sent to lead Ndigbo in the battle for freedom, whereas other Igbo leaders were busy looking for oil well, Special Adviser and the rest of them. “We liberated Anambra, Imo is liberated, Ebonyi is half, Enugu is nailed, we have to remove that nail; we have to uproot the PDP and free the people. “We need to put APC governor here in Enugu; before now, no election takes place in Enugu results were written in bedroom and hotels, it must stop”. http://dailypost.ng/2014/11/10/will-emerge-nigerias-president-2015-rochas-okorocha/

The day FG involved itself in arranging October 1 bombing was the beginning of an era. Next year my prediction is a Ghana like revolution where young officers will wipe out lots of politicians and help free Nigeria. |
Mbaka is a useless fool that went as far as lying that Okorocha gave dud cheque of 50million to Church only for him to be rebuked by Arch bishop of Owerri. Such fool deserves to be hung and his corpse fed to beasts. I pity his vulnerable followers. |
letu:Ndoki is not Asa but they are both often referred to as Ukwa people. The West of Ukwa that has boundary with Etche is known as Asa while the East of Ukwa that has boundary with Ibibio is Ndoki. Azumini is Ndoki. |
This thread just like every other one of its kind lends credence to my earlier assertions that no single federal road in the South-south and Southeast is good from one end to the other except Owerri/Onitsha road. |
letu:There is distinct Asa homeland which is Ukwa west LGA in Abia State that has boundary with Omuma and Etche in Rivers State, Ugwunagbo and Ukwa East(Ndoki) in Abia while they own farmlands alongside Ndoki and Etche at Obigbo in Rivers State. Asa is very rich in crude oil. Owaza reknowned for their oil wealth is in Asaland. |
millionaireman:Show us any single road constructed without drainage in Orlu. All the roads have wide and deep drainage. What you wrote about is a flood zone that Yar'adua approved its control through ecological funds but has been abandoned by Jonathan admin. The issue is clear. |
phantom:I hope it will but judging based on reality, only rigging can make that possible. |
ujoinme:Akpabio wasted 7 years of highest allocation in Nigeria while majority of the State is without road, water and health care facilities. No massive education campaign to reduce the Ekaette and Akpan syndrome. Building of Uyo major roads and Stadium is making you compare him with a man that came facing security challenges and militancy syndrome. Amaechi has turned Rivers people to businessmen, farmers, academicians etc. and has invested massively in education and health. He constructed much more roads quietly and is still busy with a lot till today. Keep on living in fools paradise. |
kayce911:That road is under construction though. Hopefully better pictures will start to appear this dry season. Obigbo is looked down in Port harcourt as a low level town of no importance but people are making billions there. |
phantom:I am as usual writing the bitter truth. Those people will never produce a Governor in Rivers State where their acceptability level is 30%. Especially "Oyigbo". |
millionaireman:Tell that to fools. We have more than 30 pictures from Orlu on this thread already and they are mostly finished. |
Chidi Nkwopara FOR the people of Uzoubi, Umuna, Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State what began as a small season challenge has today snowballed into a huge disaster. Trouble began in 1984, when Umusasa, one of the five villages in Umuna experienced its first flooding. In 1986, the flood spilled over, destroying farmlands and crops, buildings collapsed, domestic animals drowned and household furniture were destroyed. Today, Umuna has become a pilgrimage centre of sorts where people go to reflect on the disastrous work of nature. To some scholars, the community has become an excursion site where they see and record their findings for the advancement of knowledge. To yet another group of visitors, the flood site is a tourist attraction, a seven-day wonder and people are simply amazed at how residential and commercial buildings were taken over by flood and their occupants summarily sacked. Uzoubi, Umuna, is best described as a community in the valley but presently houses some of the major landmarks associated with Orlu local council area. Apart from being thickly populated, this troubled community boasts of the magnificent and soul- uplifting Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church, the Orie Ugwu and Orlu International Markets, as well as Evan Enwerem University Teaching Hospital. On June 27, 2005, the traditional ruler of the community, Eze Boniface C. Okereke, the President General, Chief Chris Uzoagba and Secretary General, Chief Bob Onyeje, sent a letter to one of their own and the immediate past governor of the state, Chief Achike Udenwa, titled: “Flood water claims human life in Uzoubi-Umuna”. This was their complaint: “The yearly event in Uzoubi-Umuna for the past 18 years has registered its arrival this year with a claim of the life of a child of about 12 months. This time, a son of Mr. Raymond Duruiheoma, a native of Atta in Njaba Local Government Area, residing at 2, Duruaku Street, Uzoubi-Umuna. This incident happened 12th June, 2005. Properties lost by the residents of the said building are estimated in millions of Naira”. They also told Udenwa in the said letter that barely two weeks after another 18-hour torrential rain hit the community, adding that the additional water over ran the entire community. They mentioned the worst hit areas as the royal father’s palace, Duruaku Street, Umusasa Road, Egbunine Street, Nwangaji Street, Umudiato Road, Ebenator Road, Amaigbo Road, Central School 1 premises, Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church premises and Umuorji Street. Explaining how the 12-month old boy died in the flood, the royal father said: “On this fateful day, the flood was beyond the control of the dwarf walls, as it pulled down the perimeter wall and covered all the rooms downstairs at 1 Eze Okereke Road”. An enraged traditional ruler told Vanguard Metro that “Chief Udenwa did nothing to ameliorate the plight of his brothers in Uzoubi-Umuna until he left office”. He recalled with grief how perimeter fencing of several buildings was pulled down by the angry flood. “About 10,000 residential and commercial buildings are submerged yearly in flood and properties conservatively estimated at billions of Naira have been lost to the flood. Sheep, goats, rams, dogs, chickens and other domestic birds were drowned”, the royal father lamented. He recalled that the attempt by the past administration to give access roads to Orlu International Market and the Teaching Hospital without defined flood discharge points has rendered many living at the East-end of the International market homeless. The same poor planning affected the construction work at Amaigbo Road, hence the over flooding of the Catholic Church premises and the buildings around it. Another pathetic aspect of the flood disaster is that of the primary school built in 1919 by the Catholic Church which is on the verge of being closed down. If this happens, what is the fate of the children of school age in this area is the question begging for answer. Eze Okereke disclosed that early 2005, FERMA attempted to rehabilitate the Amaigbo Road but the angry flood sacked them and the job has remained unattended to till date, despite the ray of hope ignited in 2009 by the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP). According to a BPP document, BPP/S.1/Vol.VII/09/059, dated May 21, 2009 and captioned “Certificate of no objection for award of contract”, the BPP stated: “Having examined your request and all the documents forwarded confirms that the project has satisfied all due process requirements for issuance of no objection for the award of the contract”. While giving the project name as “construction of Umuna Erosion Control Works at Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State”, BPP gave the name of the project contractor and cost as Messrs C.L.S. Limited and N119,632,175.30 respectively. The BPP document which was signed by the Director General, Engr. Emeka M. Ezeh and Engr. Nebolisa O. Emodi, disclosed that the source of funding is the N120 million under the Ecological Fund as approved by Mr. President, while the implementing Ministry/Agency is the National Committee on Ecological Problems (NCEP)/Anambra-Imo River Basin Development Authority. The question now is: When will this project, which was approved in May 21, 2009, take off? Until the project commences and is completed, the villagers remain refugees in their land http://www.vanguardngr.com/2010/10/in-orlu-flood-sends-5000-packing/ |
Millionaire fool stop recycling same thing everytime to spoil our State thread. Umuna is flooded and hss been so before we were all born. The Government is trying to help and the topic has been overflogged. PDP people are recycling old news whose original source is from 2005. Maybe I should also repost the old response I gave. This is one of the dividents of Jonathans government failure to address the plight of Igbos. |
Chigold101:Cant you see from the pictures on the road that they were not rented? People even climbed pole to have a glimpse of the men. |
This complex is massive and has every facility including 2 world class training pitches. There is also a games village. Hidden treasure inside New Port harcourt I must say. This is an old aerial picture.
|
How realer can it get?
|
It seems Okorocha is even more popular in Aba than the Governor of their state. It seems the PDP media mafia have failed in their bid to stop APC from gaining grounds in Igboland beyond Imo State.
|
Charlesdonald:Lost my pictures but will do fresh ones soon. I've given pictures of Owerri, Orlu and Oguta and thats barely 3 towns. I gave Nwaorieubi hospital as well. |
Ikengawo:Needless going in cycles. You and I know the truth and the politics of incompetent but money sharing and deceitful Jonathan being played against Igbos by payed Igbos. https://s26.postimg.org/50zhl15w9/emekukuward1.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/e3nys25nd/okpofembaiseschl.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/3n7upq6mx/emekukuward2.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/lbuthgf15/11schl.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/l0dd4oyl5/11schl1.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/x3ios99nd/11schl2.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/feqy0mxw9/11schl3.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/92bsqsuu1/11schl4.jpg https://s26.postimg.org/ibdz0x3q1/11schl5.jpg |
Justcash:You are uninformed I guess. Everything you wrote there are in place at the moment. The underground sewage of the new city has been competed as well as sandfilling. Bridges have been put in place as well as flyovers where designated. Housing development has not commenced but the sports complex is completed. |
Justcash:The best Governors to me are simply Rochas Okorocha and Rauf Aregbesola. My reason is that they met little on ground and have meagre resources to work with but yet achieved a lot. As for Amaechi and Akpabio they cannot be compared. Eleme is one of the most developed places in Nigeria. Try to visit FTZ and see for yourself. Visit Rainbow town. |
Justcash:I guess you did not know Port Harcourt before Omehia/Amaechi. Rivers State has witnessed so much infrastructural development in all sectors from roads, monorail, schools, drainages, water channels, several long bridges, flyovers, mega farms, international scholarships etc. |
winniz:Chino is not vanbonatel. Vanbonattel is a youth corper from another part of Nigeria serving in Imo State who takes delight in spoiling Igbo threads. |
This is how a high ranking soldier should be. |
Ogbonaikenna:Coward! Let me see you criticise any one again. After you will claim biafra. |
