Don't say what you don't know !!! Obasanjo stole $16 BILLION from the energy sector. His EFCC is only used as an attack dog for his political opponents while his allies reaped the country without opposition. Most privatized assets where sold far below their actual market prices to cronies acting on his behalf and for themselves.
Obasanjo was corrupt but he never stole 16billion. The truth is that money was lavished on importation of materials and construction of power plants which were not completed by the end of his tenure.

As for Abacha I swear his name was dented with conspiracy. Tell me how he could have stolen and at the same time developed Abuja and Niger Delta area, stabilized the value of Naira, subsidised petroleum products, did not borrow a dime and oil was barely 9dollar per barrel to a peak of 15 Dollars per barrel all through his 5 years in power with lower production. Tell me where the stolen money comes from.

All your stûpid political calculations keep failing but you don't have enough shame in you to make you stop.
Below was one of your numerous failed postulations prior to 2011 elections.
Lol! I made it clear that its only with a gun that the will of the people can be stopped. Buhari has never lost any election but has been persistently rigged out.

Nothing will happen if any of them wins. The only problem is the sincerity and transparency of the process that brought about the win. If Jonathan wins convincingly without rigging, there will be peace.

i don't know why people are saying what they don't no. some people ranting here are not
even in the state. I have gone to most local
govt area of the state and the man is doing quit
well. are we going to talk about the hospitals,
schools, road networks etc his achievements
are much compared to any previous governor
of the state. look at even the wife building
houses for the widows, the poorest of the poor.
this thing na morning make I stop here. Rochas
till 2019
The only way Rochas Okorocha can be removed is with the barrel of the gun. He has performed wonders and demystified the thieves that made it seem the money was not enough to develop the State. Jealous people who happen to be mostly Igbos from our neighbouring State and few Imolites are doing all they can to downplay Okorochas miracle.

Now let us solve the equation.

Orlu has 12 LGAs, Owerri 9 and Okigwe 7. Rochas is sure of 11 from Orlu in addition to Obowo and Ihitte Uboma in Okigwe. The PDP primaries has caused a feeling of being cheated among the Okigwe zone candidates and hence they will for sure work against Ihedioha. It will be Okorocha vs Ihenacho in that zone while Owerri will be shared by Ihedioha and Ihenacho with Okorocha surely grabbing Mbaitoli.

If the election is allowed to be free and fair, Okorocha will ein 80% of votes in 24 out of 27 LGAs.

How is being in different party with Jonathan, both exercising their right of personal ambitions translates into fighting Jonathan?
They are not twins, not from same tribe or even same zone, so what relationship has both men got that warrants your comment?
Are some of you for real?
So, no Ijaw in APC or no person from Daura is in PDP?
In 60s S G Ikoku ran against his father Alvan Ikoku and they still hug after the result was announced. So what loyalty does Rochas owes Jonathan who is by right, political junior?
You've been highly missed on this forum sir. Some paid traitors have been busy trying to put Igbos into political backwardness just because of little money from Jonatgan. PDP will never serve interest of Igbos and APC as well. It is only us that can protect our interest.

it is Uche Nwosu that APC gave ticket... And it was given to him cos they believe that when Rochas returns tomorrow from Lagos by next week Uche will give the ticket back Rochas... He is just holding the ticket for his father inlaw
APC governorship primaries is ongoing right now at ICC Owerri and from all indications, Okorocha is likely to carry the day. Enough of these false stories.

The dimension of the Owerri bomb has been my fear about bombing entering Southeast. The fast food was called by the criminals and asked to pay or they would unleash the bombs.

Ladies and gentlemen welcome to a new era of bomb threat for ransome. I guess its deadlier than kidnapping.
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by abagoro(m): 8:23pm On Dec 11, 2014
The fact that half of Owerri city is adorned with marvelous greenery, well kept lawns, modern spaced housing, very clean environment and well maintained flowers is also being downplayed.

You haven't said what your real problem is.
Alex Otti is Ngwa, Reegan Ufomba is Ngwa, but you prefer that failure named Ikpeazu for reasons best known to you.
Both of you look alike anyway, your support for him is more about personal and financial interest that anything else.
You are fighting a lost battle.
Are you sure Alex Otti is Ngwa? Remember how Odili was pushed off from being VP as a result of his Igbo roots. You cant eat your cake and have it. Arochukwu is in Abia North and a settler of that root wants to take Ngwa turn through the back door. Its possible but will be bad.

You should be ashamed of yourself also for not considering roads and streetlights as development. My brother we have 2 stadia in Aba and Umuahia already. We have many housing estates in Aba nd Umuahia ranging from the 2 worldbank housing estates, agbama housing estate, Ehimiri, garden, IBB, Adedebu, etc and many others under construction. Just relax I'll cover all of them for you to see.

This one is under construction.
The characteristics of these people is that they look for fault selectively. I believe criticism should be all inclusive and not targetted at particular group or interest. When they come to Imo thread, they condemn the booming of tourism and hospitality or building of schools or free education or turn blind eye to the fact that Owerri has the most maintained greenery and wide well kept median or almost the entire Owerri city has streetlights etc.

Now I presented them with facts they did not know about industries in Aba and they are looking for ways to downplay the truth. Aba is not beautiful but it has over 40thousand cottage shoe factories. Aba has higher per capita income than even Lagos and is only 2nd to Port Harcourt. These are simple truths. That Aba has some if the worst roads is also true. That Theodore Orji treated Aba wrongky is also true.

Unimpressive. You guys should please stop embarrassing us with these pathetic pictures. Like someone else said, for development pics, cities like Uyo, Enugu, Lagos, Abuja, PH, even Benin etc, are far more impressive than this ....garbage. Until the semi-literate, ignorant dunces who run places like Abia State understand that you do not build a road without sidewalks, or with open drains, and no road markings, signs etc etc, I think they should simply be ignored when it comes to these development threads.
Abiriba is a village built solely by the people without government presence. I think Umuahia has the best sidewalk I've seen in recent times courtesy of the photo ftom B2mario. I can live there.

It's only a paid e-rat will come to NL to say Abia state has good roads, and because of the nature of my Job, I worked in NW Nigeria (about 2years) b4 a transfer to SE early this year, and the level of underdevelopment I saw in Abia made me weep. Abia state is no where compared to any state in Nigeria.

Pls Abagworo, in as much u are tryn to show d positive side of Abia state (umuahia) kindlly show us recent pictures of roads in Aba.
Jonathan neglected Aba and much of Southeast and Southsouth. The reason why Dukes investments in Calabar failed os because all roads leading to Calabar are in a mess. It is same with Uyo and Aba. If the FG do their part, then the efforts of the State will be appreciated.

I never claimed Abia has good roads but I claim

Aba is the most industrialised city in Nigeria after Lagos.

Abiriba is the finest village in Igboland

Umuahia comes 3rd amongst State capitals right behind Enugu and Owerri.

Aba is the largest town in the East right after Port Harcourt.

Abia State University is the most beautiful in the East.

Aba has some of the worst roads in the country and these include mostly federal roads and State road.

Aba is the only city with completed power plant solely to serve the city.

Theodore Orji is a disappointment and deliberately neglected Aba because he was pelted with "pure water".

Most of his projects must be completed before May 2015 while the new government will start fresh ones and complete the few remainder. He is likely VP.

How far imo with substandard road networks that are failing rt now, under hu's administration? GEJ MUST FINISH HIS TENURE & THE IGBOS ARE SOLIDLY BEHIND HIM.
I will shock you people soon with, Jonathans substandard roads of less than 3montgs. Rochas is a legend.

WHAT WILL OKOROCHA DO IF NOT TO COME AND CONSTRUCT HIS USUAL CHINA ROAD IN THE HIGHWAY AS HE DID IN IMO STATE AND ALSO BUILD CHINA BRIDGE IN THE NIGER BRIDGE. SO HE SHOULD GO SIT DOWN TILL 2019 WHEN THERE WILL BE VACANCY IN THE ASO ROCK. HE SHOULD HAVE USE THE 27.5M USED IN THE APC FORM FOR STAFF SALARY IN THE IMO STATE GENERAL HOSPITAL.
Every wise Nigerian knows that Jonathan coming back in 2015 will lead to the biggest catastrophe in African history. A religious, ethnic and political war that will last forever killing at least 20million. To save Nigeria Jonathan has to go peacefully. Obasanjo warned him already.

let Rochas pick a nomination form first and you see if I would not shift my support to him. I think he should finish all the good developments he started in Imo state by finishing another 4years before thinking of the presidency.
Rochas said he would stay only one tenure in Imo State and go for Presidency but we Imolites want him to stay more. However if it will take him to save Nigeria from total collapse in the hands of Jonathan, I support him 100%.
