Yeye people....Abi PDP too will present Osibanjo as their candidate make we kuku no do election ![]() |
tempest01:Speaking of moral grounds can you name a candidate from the North with those imaginary moral grounds? Let's face it when it comes to morality the candidates available now have all fallen short so let's use another criteria to judge, let's not be hypocrites abeg. |
lexy2014:I've explained to you that your responses to other people on this thread allowed me to predict the direction the discussion was heading when you asked the question about slaughtering and yet you still continue to badger me, why? I don't like repeating myself hence I would rather end the discussion than to continue in circles....PEACE! |
lexy2014:Okay continue arguing with yourself..... |
lexy2014:Dude come on, don't play silly games, anyone can see from your responses in this thread so far which way you swing, I have attached a refresher to jug your memory.
|
Walkee:Those living in those societies know what they mean, from childhood to adulthood, it is common knowledge that you don't eat cats/dogs but chicken, pork chops and beef are edible. The laws were made by people in the society for those living in the society, they couldn't care less what you think. Now understand this, laws are constantly evolving and there might come a time when all animals are considered off limits but as of now this is not the case. |
lexy2014:Go back and read my initial response to you, you claimed people eating meat is just as cruel as kicking a cat, so I needed to school you on how ignorant that sounds. Accept it or not, that's your problem not mine.....PEACE! |
lexy2014:Stick to topic, I have clarified that it is not about painful experience but acceptable norms and I've already read the direction you want to head based on your previous response so I gave you clarity by linking it with the initial topic. The sight of blood or slaughtering of animals in the front of the house is a big NO NO! It has nothing to do with painful experience but societal norms/values...... |
lexy2014:I've already answered your question, I don't have time for semantics! |
KingAzubuike:Nope they don't, they are classified as consumable products. Remember this is about law and not feelings, the law might change in 40 or 100 years from now but as of now, nobody is stopping anyone from eating chicken or beef ![]() |
lexy2014:It's not about painful experience, it is about acceptable norms. Remember the norms of one society might differ in another. When they talk about animal cruelty in the western world they are talking about non consumable animals. Cats and dogs are household pets hence people fought for them to have certain rights, nobody is going to do the same for goats/pigs/chicken or mice ![]() |
lexy2014:Slaughterhouse or if you own a farm but majority of the people just go to farmer's market or the store to get one already butchered....lol. |
KingAzubuike:The animal that you stated, is it generally considered a pest or a pet? Like I said, be enlightened about the law/rules and there won't be a problem. The protection given to pets is generally different to livestock and pests. If you are breeding mice or rats in your home then sooner or later expect code enforcement to show up at your door but nobody gives a flip if you bred 10 cats or dogs. We all have opinions and feelings but those don't matter when it comes to the law! |
Fcwilly:Hundreds of people both white and blacks have served jail time for animal cruelty, in the Western world pets have rights, even slaughtering cows/pig/goat in front of your house can land you in serious trouble. The wise ones know the rules and play by it while the stubborn ones blame it on racism or the system.....Be wise! |
However, Soyemi, during cross-examination by Falana, told the inquest that he did not carry out any test on the black substance found in the deceased’s intestine on the grounds that LASUTH did not have a laboratory to test poisonous substances.NIGERIA..........Would we blame Buhari for this as well? Doctor wey spend 7 years or more in school with years of experience, wrote an autopsy report without considering all factors.......We dey try for this country o, lots of nonsense both public and private sector......Everything na wuruwuru to the answer ![]() |
NoSentiment:If we all lived by your analogy then why bother cirticizing any wrong doing? We've all sinned and fallen short of glory hence let criminals be great. Someone wipes out your life savings, another rapes and another kills, no need to be upset or seek justice since you've also lied and taken something that did not belong to you in the past.....Let us all sing kumbaya and chillax ![]() |
InoGetJoy:You don't have to support it but you can't deny that until we change our mentality as citizens, we wiill continue to produce wicked and bias leaders. Ever seen a Northern leader abandon his people and focus strictly on South East or South South? How about a leader from the South East saying his people don belle full and he'll rather dedicated resources to Borno or Katsina? Na we be our own problem, fix the mentality and you fix the leaders! |
SmartPolician:Who are the Nigerian leaders? How are they different from regular Nigerians? Look at your own family and your neighbors, are y'all not guilty of the same? Let's face it, the leaders are true representation of Nigerian mentality, wicked and highly biased. |
Slynation:It's the consumer laws/ system of fraud. For example, Amazon will automatically refund them once they ship the item, Ebay insists on full refund unless you pay for the return shipping and then be willing to go through a lengthy process of dispute. These are not even the worst scenario, all the buyer has to do is contact their bank and state that the item was a fraudulent purchase or defective and gbam.....They get their full refund plus you are charged a chargeback fee, of course all these headaches are for online selling, physical selling is not as dangerous. Omo make I no talk too much, 9ja we still dey enjoy, over here consumer protection is so strong, all you can do as a seller is hope for the best. When I first started with one business, I don spend the thousands of dollars that I earned from selling only to discover after 2 months hree buyers are claiming unauthorized purchase and their banks already ruled in their favor......I wan mental ![]() |
Slynation:Second hand value after customer has smashed/ dented/scratched your luxury item? Don't even get me started with the friendly fraud where they return something that is inferior to what you sold them . Imagine if just 25% of your customers did this, omo na to pack up remain. In this particular case, seller should do risk analysis, was that one sale worth the level of stress? Worth the risk? We all take risks in life and we must live with the rewards and/or consequences, the risk tolerance for someone that sells 15-30 items per day might not be the same for someone that is lucky to sell 2-3 per day so make each seller do what's right for his or her business. |
manlawal:Your head don knack wall, I know you're used to behaving like a tout but calm the f*ck down! In business, maintaining control is the number one rule of the game. Buyer is not your friend, not your family and yet you're willing to spend money, cut your merchandise and stress with no assurance? Once again, buyer can cancel at any f*cking time, it is allowed, this is why you insist on a damn deposit.....If you don't understand this simple concept....GTFO! |
Slynation:Even at that, there's no law against what she did, the fault still lies with the seller that does business without having any assurances. In sane countries, a deposit would be paid before anything is cut or customized. Most of una no fit survive abroad o, abroad wey you go buy something, use am well well and still return am for full refund after 30 days . |
symbianDON:Simple question here is this, if the shoes were reversed and the woman was the one with the power and means, would she do the same? I think most of us are naturally blinded when the victim is a woman, men go through this sh*t evryday and not one single petition, even our darling Tonto dealt with Churchill and people just accepted it.....If she has a solid case, let her fight in court, all these online/social tricks serves one purpose, SYMPATHY! |
Senomii:Hehe...No war, even iPhone suers know it is the truth, iPhone's camera is number one for all smartphones and the app store/ecology is the best and you knwo in life the richer you are, the more you try to stay away from anything complicated ![]() |
Let's put it simply, people are fascinated with showing off, the same performance of a Benz can be provided by a Toyota Camry for most people's basic car needs but that show off or imaginary luxury, that one na koko. For iPhone it is about simplicity, 70% of iPhone users are not technical at all, they just want to take photos, use emojis, chat and play games hence the phone appeals to the vast majority of people. the Android community is vastly different, 60% of Android users are curious beings, from rooting to customization no other OS gives you that flexibility, from running advanced Kodi features without slow down or other IPTV firmware to being able to amplify your phone's bluetooth signal, almost anything is possible with Android, real Android not Android wey dey struggle to breathe(Techno) . So in short, for the simplicity and the name brand/ feeling of luxury, iPhones will continue to dominate the market in terms of pricing, it's a drug and the buyers are addicts. |
Desperate times calls for desperate measures, please consult with Adegboye as well, Igbo man will be president we just need to be sure if it is president of theater arts or president of Alaba ![]()
|
Datboredberry:No this person was not targeted for being a man, he was targeted for being stupid. Trust me when a man knows the game and plays by the rules, he can have almost anything in this world. As you see me so I love money, no pekus can come between me and my cheddar .....PEACE ![]() |
Datboredberry:Same grammatical blunder on the link, I'm surprised Punch allows such rubbish, on one part the person was referred to as her and then in another sentence referred to as him. |
Datboredberry:Are you sure? After reading the post slowly, I'm even more unsure, look at the photo and the quote: The doctor was found to have committed the offence on January 21, 2020. The doctor admitted his unprofessional conduct during the tribunal hearing, promising to turn a new leaf. |
Datboredberry:Defend her from what? The law already defends her, my focus is on the guys wey no get brain! If you must lust, do so outside of work....shikena! |
Let work remain work, no matter how big her back side or tits are just say NO! Remember even if she allows it, the moment you lose your job you become persona non grata, irrelevant....So guys don't dull, chop but chop with sense, let no pekus come between you and your livelihood.......May the gods not forsake us! |
