Chanchit:Of course, I live and work in the U.S, from 401k to stock and real estate investments, no dulling! |
Geeoriginal:Don't mind them, most don't know more than what they see via Google. |
hermesprogidy:Would you rather increase the cost of money or decrease the value of money? Think about it seriously, what good will it be to be granted loan of 1 million dollars when it only has a value of 500,000 dollars? As an investor you always want to edge against inflation, you want to make sure your returns/profits makes sense. |
frowland:Guy you no dey listen! How can borrowers suffer over insignificant increases, do you expect to keep borrowing money for free forever? Read the ending of my last comment, even if the US government raises interest rate to 2% the U.S economy is well poised for it, YOU ONLY REDUCE INTEREST RATES WHEN THE ECONOMY SUPPORTS IT. For historical context in the 2000s interest rates averaged 4-5%, in the 1980s when prices went through the roof interst rate was over 14% and you think a 0.5% interest rate is bad for borrowers......STOP IT! Now to my main point, I said good news for investors in the USA! I don't know what investments you have but if they told you to choose between high inflation and increased cost of borrowing, if your answer is high inflation then you might as well gather your money and set it on fire. My example of the real estate is very clear, even if I sold my hosue for 550k or 600k dollars, do you think I can buy my dream house or a replacement for normal price? Nope, everything increased, so even tho I made profit from the sale, it is basically not worth much due to inflation. In simpel terms, INFLATION = YOUR MONEY BEING WORTH LESS! |
frowland:Context bro, context! If too much money is already in circulation, why would they spend less? Stimulus checks, loan forgiveness, child tax credits etc, there's so much money in circulation that demand for products and services are very very high leading to higher cost of goods and services. The businesses continue to raise price because demand keeps increasing at an higher pace than production. For example, I bought a $400,000 house in December 2021, it is March 2022 now and that same property is being valued at $490,000, I did a test run and I recieved 3 offers well above the asking price of $490,000. This my friend is what the feds are trying to combat, without putting a barrier to borrowing, prices will continue to skyrocket not only in real estate but in every commodity/service. |
hermesprogidy:I can bet my Ph.D that is the best news for investors in America or do you prefer high inflation? |
frowland:That's not necessarily true, if the cost to borrow money is very low then you'll have too much money in circulation hence high inflation, if everyone can afford 20k designer bags what do you think happens to the value of money? You also have to look at context here, interest rates was 0% to 0.25% for a long time, that is basically free money, no country survives by having such a low interest rate when the economic activities does not support it. The main benefit of reducing interest rate is to encourage spending and greater economic activities, when those factors are no longer needed to be stimulated(Economy is doing well) then a low interest rate means less money earned for servicing debts, less value of investments and overall an over stimulated economy which leads to hyper inflation. To put things in context, what do you think the interest rate in Nigeria is? Once you find out you'll see that even if the U.S increases interest rate to 2%, they'll still be in good shape. |
pansophist:So you see the mind games Putin is playing, he wants Ukraine to honor an agreement that Russia has no intention of honoring. Classic case of bullying ![]() |
frowland:Very serious, unless you don't know shi shi about economics, there's no denying that this is good news. |
pansophist:Here's point number 10 from the agreemnt: 10. Withdrawal of all foreign armed formations, military equipment and mercenaries. If you honestly believe Russian troops were not present in the disputed regions then I have nothing more to say, Russia has succeeded in pulling a fast one on you my friend. |
BSsniffer:Because if inflation continues to grow then investments are less profitable. So this interest rate increase will effectively counter the inflation meaning money is harder to borrow and less competition for investors. The major reason inflation increased was becuase of the amount of money in circulation and the low cost of borrowing. |
Klchnjoku:What are you rambling about? This is actually good news for investors in the US, educate yourself man! |
pansophist:Have you actually read the Minsk Agreement? I'm not talking about the old agreement(Minsk 1) that was broken by both Ukraine and Russia but the new agreement(Minsk 2). Why do you think it is only Ukraine that has to implement it? The new agreement called for withdrawal of all foreign troops from the disputed areas but up till war broke out, Russia denied being part of the agreement as Putin keeps insisting that Russia is not involved in the dispute. How do you negotiate/dialog with an enemy that won't follow the rules? Putin behaves like a bully and forget about the U.S for one minute, does Ukraine not have the right to make its own decisions? Are you honestly saying Crimea, Luhansk and Doneskt were not influenced by Russia to destabilize Ukraine? We can continue playing mind games but deep inside you know what's going on, you know ![]() |
pansophist:Okay now you're talking! Look at the bolded words, what do you mean they've exhausted all dipolomatic options? Has Ukraine joined NATO? The answer is NO! Did they go to war with russia over Crimea? The answer is also NO! The third demand is just absolutely ridiculous and no sane leader would accept such terms. I would refer you back to my initial response, if this happened to Nigeria and Cameroon brought forth such demands, what do you think would happen? You said you're not justifying the invasion and while this might be true just put yourself in Ukraine's shoes, I come to your house demand that you swear allegiance to me and that two of your children now belongs to me, is this diplomacy or an act of war? Let's be reasonable here, how long will it take Russia to do the same to other countries that broke away from the Soviet Union? |
When you're in Rome you obey Roman laws, whites love their pets more than life itself hence the outrage. If anyone is to blame it should be the stupid brother that not only recorded the act but allowed it to be published online, what did he think was going to happen? I wouldn't be surprised if they both serve jail time, U.K people dey para right now, just look what dey did to my Roman ![]() |
superCleanworks:No doubt but do you know their source of income? I'm not saying we won't see such people but make we no dey judge dem unless we know their source of income, if you dey steal money or dey con people left right, up and down, you can even spend 1 billion on fresh pvssy....if you know you know ![]() |
superCleanworks:The example you used get k leg, since all land belongs to the government hence the oil was never his but let's even entertain the idea that government gave him 150 million Naira as compensation, you think a man in his right frame of mind would spend 125 million out of it on pvssy? ![]() |
The real question that should be asked is what is the man's source of income? If you're stealing money or doing something shady/evil to make money, spending 200 million on good pvssy is nothing, one thing I know for sure, nobody working 9-5 or holding an office job will do such a thing from their salary, even if the pvssy sweet pass heaven ![]() |
Horus:Which country invaded Libya? Last I checked you can't prosecute rebels in a civil war ![]() |
pansophist:Your dogmatic response only pales to your rhetorical delusions. You are trying to justify an invasion by lumping the faults of past occurence to fit the narrative of a mad man. You highlighted the stipulations of Russia's security guarantee and I begged the question, which foolish leader would accept such terms? Rather than you to justify why a leader should accept the terms, you've chosen to attack my character by spewing more garbage. I don't know you or what you might have accomplished but even if you are Einstein incarnate, your response is that of a bloody novice, I suggest you school yourself on proper netiquette and present a more intellectual argument.....PEACE! |
pansophist:Just listen to yourself, it's like Cameroon dictating to Nigeria that Biafra is now part of Cameroon and you expect Nigeria to accept peacefully. LMAO, in 2014 it was Crimea, now 2 more states, what's next Kyiv? Putin's ultimate goal is to get the Societ Union back and only a foolish president would watch him do it strategically through annexing/inciting civil war. Ukraine might lose it's independence after the war but the damage to Russia(Economically) will last way beyond Putin's reign. |
The only love that is unconditional is imaginary love, even the Almighty loves us based on certain conditions, thou shall not have false gods, repent etc., so why would one think that human love is unconditional? Let's be brutally honest here, humans love based on what they can gain and not necessarily what they have to offer. Think about it, for the man, it is about having a warm body to smash, someone to cook, talk and grow with. For the woman, it is about a protector, someone to confide in, someone that not only provides physical/financial but emotional support as well. Whether you are a man or woman, if you're not content and always looking for the next best thing then nothing will ever be good enough, the OP paints a picture of women being ungrateful but we also have men like that, men that have left their wife for a newer model, I know a guy that left his wife and four kids for a woman 15 years younger. It is not a gender issue but a human one. Just pray God gives you the strength and resources to deal with whatever life throws at you, real humans are no longer being produced, almost everyone is now China & Aba made, fake love everywhere. P.S.......None of us should take life too seriously, in the end nobody makes it out alive......cheers ![]()

If all countries dey talk, shey na U.K suppose get mouth, these mofos invented corruption.....How does this concern U.K? A private citizen made deals with the government in his home country and somehow that equates to being corrupt and not worthy of owning a football club? GTFO! What does it say about the U.K, man has been propping up your dead economy for two decades and now he is persona non grata.....Ko ni ye yin ![]() The same idiots that refused to ban lobbying of parliament and Congress, same idiots that have profited from their political positions through book deals, stock market etc, awon werey! |
Do you people even know what a DNA test consists of? It doesn't just say the person is the dad/mom but it gives a percentage and probability. For example anything less than 99% is considered inconclusive, anything less than 90% is considered negative or not biological mom or dad. So even with this rare condition, a competent DNA test center would still give a percentage and there should not be much fuss becuase twins have a very close DNA profile. |
It would have made sense if only women were targets of ritual killings but for this 9ja women and men are both endangered. Do you know how many people go missing daily? Many deaths are simply recorded as John or Jane Doe.....Forget am 9ja is a forgone conclusion.....A waste! |
Bloody lies, we all know party comes before person and it won't change beyond 2023. We all know what happens to the opposition when the other party takes over, so why would a sane governor insist that that party does not matter? Awon werey....Fake news! |
BabaJoe001:You prefer lethal injection where the person foams in the mouth and the body jerks around for one or two minutes? Perhaps you prefer firing squad? ![]() |
Divoc19:Thank God such a thing can never happen in 9ja, our dear country full of saints and law abiding citizens.
|
This country can never be great, just look at the comments. Do y'all think loan companies are charities? Did you not read the terms and conditions or at least the interest rate before signing? Yet we wonder why banks refuse to give out loans to just anybody. It's one thing to be poor, it's another to be illiterate but when you're poor, illiterate and wicked..........Dem swear for una ni? Na same people go rent house wey dem no fit afford come dey fight landlord say na only 2 years dem owe no big deal.
|
3 point of failure: 1. Her parents or family members 2. Her friends and the community 3. Her Even if the man na Dangote or his prick longer than the river Niger, shebi na person wey dey alive dey enjoy goodies. In short, most women are the architect of their own destruction, he go change he go change na wetin lead many to their untimely deaths. |
A man came in saved the club from near certain relegation and bankruptcy, spent billions over 2 decades and won every major trophy imaginable but he becomes canceled because he comes from a country like Russia? No matter how much we all like to pity Ukraine or hate Putin, this serves as no benefit to the people of Ukraine, if Putin respected the oligarchs he would have ended the war since the first week. Furthermore, it's not like Chelsea FC was profitable to Roman, we still owe him 1.5 Billion. Man has literally not profitted one dime since he bought the club yet these fakkers in the U.K saw it as the perfect moment to get rid of him for good. Lesson for all of us out there planning to be rich and investing in foreign countries like the U.S or the U.K, better pray to God you or your country does not do anything to anger them, all those assets can be frozen in seconds.....SHAME! |
