Oga...how can you love someone who rejects or rejected you?

Even God in all his awesomeness and righteousness still puts people who rejects him into hell and you are here claiming logic!

It is only SIMPS like Kevin of Big Brother Africa 2009 and Ozo of Big Brother Naija 2020 that show love to ladies who outrightly rejected them but where did it lead them to?

Liz eventually married Kevin because he won that season of BBA and after the money finished, she vanished and ran back to Tanzania with their 2 kids and abandoned him.

I don't need to tell you about Ozor of BBN last year...we all know the story.

I hope you are not a SIMP!
Life is all about experience and if you run away or become bitter just because of a rejection then you might end up missing the biggest blessing of your life. For example, do you know a girl might like you but can't be with you at that present moment because she is still getting over an heartbreak or too scared to start a new relationship? I was once rejected by a girl who obviously liked me but could not at that moment leave her boyfriend who was maltreating her, I know a guy that was so bitter over a rejection that he started spreading bad rumors about a babe not knowing the babe was battling illness that she kept from the public, it was not until the girl passed away that the guy finally regretted his actions. Life is not black and white my friend, there are several gray areas, when it comes to women matter, you cannot be too soft or rigid, find your balance!

So what happens to going straight to the point and opening up to tell the guy the major reason why you can't be with him rather than just vaguely turning him down?

Doing that without those reasons at the emboldened will send a red flag that it could be because of his financial incapability at the time because 95% of Nigerian ladies look at the money factor first when a man approaches them.

The guys themselves sha are shameless.

I can never go back to a lady a week, month or years after she turns me down.

I see it as someone who tried to buy a Nokia java phone in 2007 sold for maybe N30,000 and it was above his purchasing power only to go back to looking for the same Nokia java phone in 2021 simply because he now earns 200k a month where there are more sophisticated Android phones that go for about N150k which to me is plain stüpidity. undecided
The bold part is funny because it shows the mindset of most 9ja guys. You claim to love someone and just because you were rejected, GBAM the person goes in your black book grin grin grin. Love turns to hate or disdain in a blink of an eye, which confirms it was never really love but infatuation.

How many do you want to prosecute and which jail you want put them? What was the condition of their surrendering? Problem with Nigeria is that we are reactive rather than proactive. How are these people being recruited? What motivates them to join? Catching the recruits and punishing them is less effective than getting to the source and cutting off the head(leaders), from the religious scholars to the community itself, something or someone is motivating these boys.

You can't fight people's war for them, it is clear the afghan people are in love with the Taliban, just like the Northerners are in love with Boko Haram, Herdsmen or whatever!

Yeah the US made a mistake leaving Afghanistan, but at the end of the day, how long do you think they should have stayed in Afghanistan for?

It took the French over a hundred years of colonization to turn French North Africa from the heavily islamic place it was into the relatively secular place (with a lot of ISLAM, but secularists too)it is today(emphasis on relatively)

If Afghanistan wants to be a nice relatively secular country that won't harbor terrotist...either the US stays in place for generations, or Afghans get their own version of Kermal Attaturk.

And the most murderous group that 1) KNOWS the country 2) is always around.

If the US wanted to beat them it would have had to deploy troops in their hundreds of thousands, exile and kill thousands of Afghans, forcefully educate millions of Afghans...and even then there is a high risk the strategy might make people love the Taliban more.

Them Americans should have just sent in CIA black ops to kill Osama in November 2001. No need to send in the whole army.Colonisation works if you are ready to back it up with intense brutality.
Is this about the US beating them or the people enjoying their country? In 2001 the afghan government refused to cooperate, so it took force for them to bring down their ego and realize this is bigger than just Afghanistan, invasion of afghanistan was the right call but Iraq that one na pure greed and selfishness by the Bush's administration. The US made a big mistake leaving afghanistan, the country along with Pakistan, Syria and Iran are the bedrock of religious extremism and if eyes no dey on them, dem fit destroy the whole world, those people get liver pass anything.

I would rather stay in Nigeria than relocate to the US as a blackfolk. America with it's institutionalized racism, always demeaning the dark skinned African immigrant or native, gun violence a true cancer which has eaten into the fabric of their society, blackfolks getting killed just as in the days of Jim Crow and KKK, and it isn't looked at as any big deal in their society, because it's one of the status quo. No thanks, i'll pass
Yet all these things can be found in Nigeria to a certain degree, replace gun violenced with herdsmen and thugs, replace racism with bigotry and tribalism. When you get shot in America, you wither live and/or work in a rough area or you were at the wrong place at the wrong time. Successful blacks are working and living their best life and nothing do them. In any country, you must know what and what not to do, delivering Door dash/Uber at night time is very risky especially in black dominated areas like Maryland, Chicago, NYC or ATL.

In all my almost 4 decades of living, I have never heard a full African child call him mama or papa by their first name, I have never seen such a child shout back and yell, "I HATE YOU" or gather friends in parents' house and have orgies and other immoral acts. I have never seen a full African child grab a gun and waste his or her own parents for not giving money when asked. I have never seen such a child ask his or her parents to buy condoms when returning from the store.

These Western quacks would like the world to believe that children are now parents and parents must act like children awaiting permission before acting, afraid to discipline in order not to hurt feelings. The day I gave up on abroad kids was the day I saw my neighbor's daughter land hot, heavy slap on her mother for telling her to get inside while chilling with friends. Na that day, I thanked God for making me an African, child wey go spoil go spoil but eating hot slap for dinner? OMO!

SportsRe: Lionel Messi's PSG Shirt Sell Out In 30 Minutes After Official Signing by abbey621(m): 3:31pm On Aug 11, 2021
Coronavirus123:
It's high time people stopped this nonsense about clubs recouping transfer fees and wages from shirt sales. clubs traditionally receive just 7.5 per cent commission from the sale of a replica jersey and other merchandise.
Liverpool, under the terms of their deal with Nike, receive 20 per cent commission per shirt or piece of merchandise sold.Let’s say, for example, a club sells 300,000 replica versions of a player’s jersey in a season. If the jersey was sold for €90 each, which is the price of the new Liverpool home jersey, it would bring in a total figure of €27m, of which a club would traditionally receive a commission of 7.5 per cent.
So, the club would receive just over €2m in commission for the sales of this player’s jersey.

This is a lot of money. But it wouldn’t be enough to finance a transfer for Messi or Ronaldo or any other superstar. So shirt sales can not pay Messi wages
True but this is PSG, they don't need any shirt sales to finance player fees, they are just using this to satisfy financial fair play, if you know you know #oilmoney grin grin grin

There's nothing much to say here other than "POVERTY NA BASTARD", it can only be poverty that would allow a son drag property with his own mother, those who have self respect don't rely on inheritance but see it as mere bonus.

You just shot yourself in the foot with this nonsense. How is the attack on your congress any more serious than breaking hardened criminals out and back into the society, destroying livelihood, killing tanker drivers, burning police stations, killing policemen, stealing, arson, etc? There's no way Twitter will aid such a movement in the US without Jack being roasted by the US parliament.

By your post, you have admitted that Twitter sides with the masses (in other words, profit) even if they are wrong and dangerous, yet you expect the government to sit back and watch like a helpless child because it's democracy? Lol. What happened to their rules on false information then? Does the need to follow the masses supercede the importance of their rules and the peace of Nigeria? They exercised their power and the government exercised theirs, and its a very beautiful response to corporate tyranny. They should take their madness elsewhere.
Each time you type you end up making less sense, Twitter is a private organization and with or without Nigerians it will continue to exist. The headache here is that they are attempting to safeguard your rights as a human being but if you prefer the status quo and being treated like an animal so be it, you can continue arguing with your keyboard, I've got better things to do....PEACE!
PoliticsRe: United States: Twitter's Suspension In Nigeria Is A Violation Of Human Rights by abbey621(m): 4:36pm On Aug 08, 2021
FoolishBoy419:
Nothing happened to his account after this tweet and no, Tweets aren't only deleted when reported. That applies to average users like you and I but for someone as high profile and verified as Donald Trump, a report isn't necessary.

In the case of Namdi Kanu, many people reported him but no action was taken until after their asses were banned.

I also remember many of us reporting DJSwitch for peddling false information but nothing was done and no 72 bodies were found!

Even as EndSars was degenerating into chaos, looting and jail breakouts, twitter maintained its support but they took an EXACTLY opposite action when the capitol was attacked. Isn't that hypocrisy? Nigeria can burn but US shouldn't?

Their action is a typical example of tyranny. It's the best thing this failed government has done in many years.
Surely the jargon you wrote only makes sense to you. Did EndSARS attack government buildings or our Congress? That particular Nnamdi Kanu tweet I reported it myself and it was taken down after several others reported it including those in government. His post was taken down and he created another including several other profiles, stop saying what you don't know just to justify your points. You reporting DJ Switch when millions more were in support of her makes no sense, Twitter will always side with the masses and majority of people on Twitter supported the reporting and are against the actions of the government.

I am sorry, what? undecided

Did you not yourself point out earlier that Boko Haram is in fact an Islamic terrorist group? Is it not enabled by the fact that Islamic rule is practiced in the Northern part of Nigeria? undecided

No religion is devoid of a violent past is no reason why the violent atrocities committed in present day by a religious terrorist group should not be tackled head on for what it is. undecided

Religious fanatics will have one believing what now? undecided
Let's pretend the religious fanatics don't even exist in this. You and I are well aware of the violent history of at least Christianity and Islam in this. Tell me, does this knowing somehow change the facts of the reality that is the Islamic terrorist group in Nigeria today? undecided

Does this knowing we have of the past of these major religions, remove in anyway from what is happening even as we speak in parts of the North, all because of the activities of Boko Haram? undecided
And where did Reno say Boko Haram was good or that the havoc they created and are creating is not relevant? He simply stated that what we call terrorism now existed in Christianity as well and at a level much more extreme. Once again, you need to read the context in which he spoke and not necessarily the sensational headline, if you can point out where he said Boko Haram was good, I would appreciate it, otherwise this argument is pointless.
Christianity EtcRe: Reno Omokri: What Boko Haram Is Doing, The Church Did 10 Times Worse by abbey621(m):
Humanoid01:
Just because you did something in the past and later turned completely from it doesn't mean you shouldn't condemn it when you see it later on. It's quite different from condemning something that you are actually practising at the same time, that's top-notch hypocrisy.

Moreover, those acclaimed Christians who held such practice are not the standard of Christianity. If the new testament Bible doesn't tell of Christians doing such, then why should the acts of those in this subject matter be a basis to judge the faith.

What they did is against what the bible teaches, I'm sure there were also Christians then who condemned such practice. If I was in existence then, I would have firmly condemned it because I know the new testament Bible doesn't teach that.
So we are in agreement, just because a religion has/had violence in it does not make it evil. Again Reno comments were directed at the hypocrites who would rather blame the religion than to recognize the issue itself. In addition, this is not about old testament because new testament was well written before the final crusades and the Salem witchhunt, in fact Bible was still used by the KKK and Jim Crow as early as 50 years ago. So you see it is not the religion but man's flawed interpretation.

Focus, will you! The man is here in 2021, comparing the acts of a terrorist organization to to atrocities committed over 200 years ago, mostly in foreign lands by a religious group. What is the sense in that? undecided

What exactly is the point of such a comparison? Is it to justify the acts of the terrorist group or what? undecided
Again don't attack the messenger but the message. If nimwits are going to attack a religion like Islam and claim it is responsible for Boko Haram and other jihadists shouldn't the record be set straight that no religion is void of violence be it present or the past?

Forget about foreign lands or 200 years ago, it does not change the principal message. Religious fanatics would have people believing one religion is a saint while the other is of the devil but facts are facts, one is not better than the other. Yes Reno was insensitive with his approach but if we removed sentiments, we can't call what he said false.
