maynia:Who told you other administrations didn't do it? obasanjo did it, Jonathan did it and Buhari blew it up! Same goes for America, Bush did it, Obama blew it up and Trump & Biden continued it. Borrowing is not the problem if you have something to back it up but when you have nothing and just keep borrowing with no credible plan to pay it back then WAHALA DEY! |
maynia:Nothing you've stated justifies not paying tax, in as much as we know our government is corrupt and inept, if we ever want to stop them from borrowing money or further ruining the nation for our children and grandchildren then we must pay tax, everyone! Even if you are making just 100,000 Naira a year you must be taxed, what we should be discussing is marginal tax rate. A carpenter should not be at the same tax bracket as a doctor or bank manager. Dangote should not be paying the same tax rate as small and medium sized businesses, our politicians mess up because they represent a messed up society. Our mentality and culture needs a rude awakening, as great as America or the UK looks, without taxation they'll go bankrupt! |
Those advising you to keep secrets and not tell the old man are nothing but ignorant crechins. Do you think the old man would forgive you once he's gone? Does your step bro know the truth? Don't you think you owe it to him as well to reveal it? The difference between the whites and our pathtic African sentiments is that when it comes to issues like this, they prefer facts than emotional reasoning. If you are truly the son of your father then you owe him the truth otherwise you might as well be called a basta*d as well. |
neyoohhh:But you didn't encourage women to dress decently, you threatened them with the law by supporting what the main subject in the opening post wanted. Like I said earlier, there is no way you can compare the indecency in the USA to Nigeria yet the USA has not gone commando and enact laws that resticts just one gender. If you don't see the problem here then you'll never see it! I have no problem with you advocating for women to dress decently, the problem is that you are only focusing on women thereby adding to the already heavy restrictions on women in the Nigerian society. It's like enacting rape laws and then saying women that rape men are not included....lol. |
neyoohhh:You're only succeeding in portraying your ignorance, do you know what we call using extremes to support a position/argument? Hyperbole! FYI, majority of women are not exposing their nipples, majority of them are not exposing their butt cheeks, majority are not exposing their kpekus.....COME OFF IT! We are talking about a society that believes women on spags or shorts are exposing themselves even tho the weather is over 80 degrees F. We are talking about a society that cannot discern the difference between fashion and indecency. The USA has standards based on morals, you can't go full unclad, you can't just expose your nipples anyhow both males and females but they will never ban shorts or make laws that focuses solely on the female gender when it comes to dressing. Stop this your BS argument, I have lived in the states for a long time now and people like you are easily canceled by society because of your archaic views aimed at controlling every aspect of the female gender. It's not your body, it's not your family.....You have no rights on this matter......Take it or leave it, that's your problem bro not mine! |
Fear of Jagaban is the beginning of wisdom.....Alliances will be made, dominos will fall.....Is he a king or a kingmaker......Either way, grab your popcorn and stay tuned for the next episode of Game of Thrones- Bourdillon Edition ![]() |
neyoohhh:Your analysis would have made sense if only indecently dressed women got raped, people are raped in churches, schools and at work. Many are covered from head to toe and still got raped.....so be quiet! Nigeria's problem with rape is easy to solve, train women on self defense and rape cases will drop dramatically. From pepper sprays to kicking men in the nuts to carrying switch knives. There are more indecently dressed women in the USA than Nigeria yet Nigeria is matching them statistically when it comes to rape.....What does that say about your pathetic logic? Anatomy or no anatomy in scorching hot heat, a woman has the right to dress lightly, she has the right to wear shorts or spag or whatever, get this into your head! You are worried about your children seeing indecent dressing, well isn't that ironic, if you can't control your own children what makes you think you can control full grown adults? When my siblings and I were little in the mid 80s to early 90s, whenever we saw unclothedness we immediately closed our eyes, it was instinct based on training, parents did not need to go out and fight everyone that didn't dress appropriately....lol. Pick your battles wisely! Furthermore, another clue that shows you know not of what you write is your view on ethics, you seem not to know the difference between ethics and morals. An ethical person can be immoral and someone immoral can behave ethically. I suggest you stick to topics within your skillset.....Peace! |
neyoohhh:How come Nigerians always get worked up when it is a lady but when a man walks with singlet or half down boxers, we just smile? In a society where one set of rules applies to a certain gender and another to the other gender, it is no surprise that things fall apart! We want a society that controls everything a woman does, from the way she acts to the way she dresses and yet complain when such women grow up to be highly dependent on males......Culture or no culture, we need to mind our damn business! |
How do you give a region the presidency knowing that half of them are more likely to sell the country or split it? Igbos are nice people, na the IPOB among them they cause panic, they have made it clear that it is Biafra or nothing so why are we fooling ourselves? The discusssion should be choosing a president that gives them what they want or at least brings them to the discussion table. An Igbo president is too suspicious and a non Igbo president like Buhari is too non chalant, we need a negotiator, an equalizer, a president for all regions not someone that would be too afraid to do what needs to be done! |
Fiscus105:There are lots of brilliant whites as well, it's just that science and technology has taken a backseat to sports, art and socialism. Kids no longer want to be physicists, doctors etc, they want to be the next Lebron james or Bruno Mars. |
bong4:Then can you explain why abroad with all the good system, large percentage of secondary school students either drop out of school or fail to graduate from college? Can you explain why the top 10 students in every state in the USA are mainly those of African or Asian background? If truly punishment destroys, Why did students in the USA back in the 70s and 80s scored and performed better in standardized tests compared to students of the 2000s? Here's a hint, paddling or flogging was banned in schools in the early 90s! |
verybadmouth:These things are not present abroad? Rapists, fraudsters, prostitutes plenty here in Atlanta. My guy, when you make generic statement make sure you back it up with facts, compare 9ja students as a whole even with all the poverty, predicaments and lamenting, our students are still able to keep up and often beat the best when given the right tools and opportunities. E.g. Take 10 Nigerian students away from Nigeria and put them in schools in the USA, give them nothing to worry about but face their studies and I guaranty that 8/10 of them would excel. Can we say the same for American students? Even with all the luxury and all the pampering, majority of them still drop out of school or maintain a mediocre GPA. Flogging helps to reset the brain, it builds concentration as long as it is not excessive. |
The number one reason they said two siblings should not marry from the same family is because God forbid one of the marriage enters one chance and is served hot breakfast, the negative energy and the rift between both families could spill into the remaining marriage. Human beings can be predictable and also unpredictable, imagine if the guy turned into an overnight boxer and started using your sister's face as training before facing Tyson Fury, as her brother can you react the way you should without hurting your own wife? Similarly imagine you married the girl and she turned out to be troublesome to the point that her parents wants her to leave you, can your sister's marriage survive the fallout? Think am well well, what the elders see sitting down, the young ones cannot see while standing. |
Nigerian youths na sex sex all the time, imagine one saying they need to last 15 minutes or 30 minutes to satisfy a woman.....MUMU! For those of us married, you learn that 5 to 10 minutes is average and on a very good/badt day you can go 20-30 minutes, anything more is just recklessness, sure you can get the occassional devil in you and go for an hour but most women stop enjoying it after 20 minutes. What young men need to learn is the art of 4play, when you 4play for 30 minutes to even an hour, the sex does not need to last like the Boston Marathon, you have already taken her close to cloud9, peneration is just the icing on the cake. No matter how much you knack a woman, left, right, center, up and down, you can't measure up to another guy that is willing to lick and touch the right spots, say the right words and then go for the wonderful finish......Ji ma sun! |
pacespot:I'm not going to bother breaking down your point one by one, I'm just going to take away your premise by asking simple questions. Who is Desmond Elliot? Is he considered a youth? Who is Dimeji Bankole? Is he considered a youth? These two became politicians in their late 30s to early 40s, they were considered youths but represent the same corrupt system that has infected Nigeria since 1999. Being young and youthful does not make you ethical or good, being old does not necessarily make you useless or corrupt. You're talking about ifs and whats, if only Nigerian youths can unite? LMAO....We can't even unite on Nairaland, abeg wake up ![]() |
pacespot:If only elections were won based on social media comments....lol. The corruption of these old men is peanuts compared to what the youths are capable of, e.g Desmond Elliot, Dimeji Bankole etc. Old or young, one man cannot save Nigeria, the strength of the cabal is way too high, a systematic reform starting from the grassroots led by innovative and ethical minds is needed, you can't just jump to presidency or governorship, in politics a coalition is needed whether we like it or not. |
olioxx:The level of the job demands a college degree at a minimum. We are talking about general consensus here not exceptions, we all know hiring managers won't even give you the opportunity to prove yourself, once they scan your CV and see highest degree as Eko Boys High School....lol |
To the opening poster, do you have any background in I.T? If not then you're on a long thing. For you to even think about penetration testing, you must understand networking, threats and vulnerabilities. A penetration tester is basically someone paid by the company to exploit every system within the company looking for vulnerabilities so that the company can improve its security posture. It is not an entry level job, it requires vast knowledge and heavy workload. Before thinking about penetration testing, start thinking about ethical hacking. What type of hat do you want wear? I don't mean cap or the ones aboki wear but whether you want to be black hat, white hat or grey hat. I wish I could give you definitive advise but you're well over your head, you need a solid foundation first before thinking about penetration or beta testing. |
post=106596482:What is worth doing is worth doing well, a college degree is a must if you want to be paid adequately for your skillset. I don't know how it is done in Nigeria but abroad bachelors degree is now like high school certificate, nobody is going to pay a software tester, security admin or architect 70k to 120k dollars a year without a degree. In Nigeria I think they are paid 300k to 500k a year and even then they expect you to have a degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience, let's not give this guy false hope! |
Una get problem in this country, when she was hawking majority of you would pass her by saying see the dirty thing, now that she is being favored you shout about innocence......Morality police wey prefer his or her neighbor to starve than to bahvae badly.....spits! |
Not just customer service but any human in any business. Human beings remains the weakest point in any organization. From carelessness to bitterness or job fatigue, any serious organization must think about physical and logical asset protection, backup and recovery then continuous training on security protocols and measures. Under no circumstances should there ever be a single point of failure, under no reason whatsoever should data not be replicated to a backup location like cloud and finally if you're dealing with big data, segment, segment, SEGMENT! Even if you suffer an attack, the attackers should never be able to get more than 10% of the overall data. Install firewalls, honeypots and IDS+IPS. If hackers get craze, show dem say you be mental patient ![]() |
Kingcalls:Don't bother replying, it's obvious you don't know what you're talking about! |
Kingcalls:You're a comedian, last I checked he was still the number 2 highest goalscorer in champions league history and still had the highest goal total in the 2018 competiion. Name one player that you can say without any doubt played better than Messi when we compare the last 7 years, your closest guess would be cristiano and yet using your champions league stat as basis, he hasn't won highest goal scorer since 2017, so what are you smoking? All the other points you made are just plain dumb, nobody can deny his impact on barca and recently on Argentina winning the Copa, if you must argue, do it with sense! |
cococandy:Unfortunately for you, laws around the world does not revolve around your emotional rhetoric or lack of understanding! Rape is a felony while stealthing is not, until this changes you can continue rambling it won't change a thing; one is criminal case while the other will continue to be civil. A man you were having sex with got over excited and removed condom during sex, you did not tell him to stop, you continued enjoying it and then you turn around and prosecute him for stealthing claiming he raped you......Is this really the world you live in? Is this what you want to waste taxpayers money on? GTFOH! Yes you can sue him for mischief and probably win but rape? How about we stop demeaning the word and hurting actual victims! |
cococandy:You're the one confusing yourself, go back and read my initial reply, only part I took issue with is labeling stealthing as rape, IT IS NOT! Any other argument is frivolous and a damn waste of my time and energy....PEACE! |
Kingcalls:Single players don't win champions league, the team does! Individuals are judged by stats and according to statistics, he outshined them all when it comes to goals and assists when we consider the past 3-5 years. If we were to go by your logic then Werner/Havertz would be best player in the world since Champions league is all that matters ![]() |
cococandy:It's funny that you automatically assume only women suffer from stealthing. From punching holes in condoms to using sperm from condoms being thrown away, women are often predators as much as prey....Get over yourself! Furthermore, you can't call something a crime unless a specific law prohibits it, you said stealthing is rape and I simply replied no law in the world calls it such.....It is criminal mischief and more likely a civil case than anything else as long as STDs are not involved. You're arguing based on emotions which I undertsand for women it's the default setting but when we talk about rape, we need to talk about the legal ramifications, you can't just keep labeling everything as rape, it is harmful to actual rape victims! |
cococandy:According to which law? Can you prove stealthing nwithout video evidence or a confession? What happens when a condom break but it's too sweet and the lady doesn't want to stop? What happens when using defective condoms? How does a competent court say for certain that the act was intentional and not accidental? How do you curb cases of false allegations by scorned lovers? Una just dey create more problems for una sef ![]() |
Kingcalls:What's the job of the accountant, treasurer, financial advisors etc? It's easy to blame the player but the real problem was lack of oversight. They kept spending and spending but they forgot the law of diminishing returns. Messi is the best player in the world and was paid accordingly, I fail to see how this is Messi's fault, you want the best you pay the best, if you can't afford him you let him go and get a huge transfer fee for him....simple! |
Buhari we no want, Tinubu we frown upon, who is now the option? I think it's high time we start thinking deeply about this, what is the alternative? Who can rise up and be accepted in the North and South? No be everything be joke or tribal fight, who is brave enough, pure enough and confident enough to truly save Nigeria? When we truly sit down and ponder these questions, we can all see that 2023 will likely be more and more like 2019 and 2015.....vanity upon vanity! |
hetyogan:Newcastle small club? No meaningful history.....Dem suppose use your brain for experiment ![]() |
How can one year old girl talk? So the one year old girl knew the name of the perp and also what was being done? GTFOH with these BS stories.....drunkards ![]() |
