I love theo question.
The simple answer is that our life expectancy grw from 20-30 to 54.
If we stop drinking bad water and living in cleaner cities it's going to increase more.
The thing you don't realize is that life expectancy data wasn't in existence at the time we're talking about so we have no evidence for any of these things. As far as we know we lived a lot longer then the Europeans did at the time and our standard of living was much better up until the 19th century when things began to fall apart almost entirely due to large swathes of war and loss of historical knowledge due to the enroachment of foreign religions and culture, and to prove this point there's actually a book that details how life was in Yoruba land for example or should I say multiple books in one from Leo Frobenius he describes a water cleaning system where by water from streams is boiled then cooled in a tiny bowl within a bowl made of clay of different thickness and this was the water they drank and guess what this practice was attached to? Oshun the river goddess so guess what happened to it? Demonized and discarded

Second example anytime there was an outbreak of disease in a community everybody was made to discard of old food, was made to double boil their water, and was made to stay in their houses and take preventive herbs until the outbreak was ended, and guess who this was attached to? Sopanna and Obaluaye the deities of Smallpox and diseases and guess what happened here again? Banned by the British and demonzied by the people

Third and last example because frankly I think i've given enough in almost every single community if not all communities it was commonplace for there to be rest days for farming, hunting and felling of trees this was done in respect of the earth or Aye the embodiment of the earth back then we believed if too many trees or animals were destroyed then the earth would become damaged and that would in turn damage our own livelihoods but lo and behold the British came in called it superstition and now we've lost over 40% of our forests to farming and felling.

So in conclusion we had great systems, we were smart, our religions were better, and we had great understanding of the plants and wildlife in and around us the only reason why things have gotten so bad is because we've lost our roots and we never built upon them had we built le.upon the knowledge we had back then we'd have been in a much better position then we are in now as a people

good!!!
So there's were as fierce as mountain lions and also as humble as the Duka(antelope)
What ever Africans in this our region knew before the white man came. They probably learnt from the Arabs.

And no offence, our herbs where shit.
So the Arabs that only came to prominence in 622AD were teaching the Africans who were bilding monumental structures over 1400 years before them in 2000BChuh?

Africans conquered the Arabs before they came, we were doing these things before Christianity was even made you do realize most of the history of Rome took place before the creation of Christianity and Rome so there's no way either religion could have had an influence on early African empires or on Ancient Egypt.

And how were our herbs shit as you say? Many of them have been proven to be effective and have even been made into pills for medicinal purposes go and read about it yourself.

brother can I ask you something?
Do you know why the Roman empire was so great ??
Because they built upon the knowledge of the Greeks which was obtained from the Africans in Egypt and added to that they also went on to conquer those Africans and take even more of their knowledge they were violent people who stole knowledge and claimed creation of many world wonders when in reality they were built by foreigners.

oooh space exploration would do so much for humanity. Space can play a vital role in growing of of organs, tissues, cells and so many other things which I cannot explain because I do not have detailed knowledge about them and probably even the experts. And that's more reason to keep exploring.
If Europeans didn't explore we would have still been in the dark ages and dying before the age of 30 cuz of malaria.
Who is we? And which dark ages? We had herbs to effectively treat malaria and we had factories to produce cloth and shoes, we had water and we had boreholes, we had houses, we had roofs, we had art, we had food, we had metal we had everything we needed to survive and had the Europeans not come we would have progressed a lot better the slave trade was extremely detrimental on the growth and development of Africa and there's a lot of evidence that shows that we were on the verge of a local industrial revolution as colonialism was beginning our industrial revolution likely would have started at the same time as or just a bit after that of the Europeans had slavery not taken place.

So what's more important. Solving issues such as poverty and disease or exploring space? What has decades of space exploration benefitted humanity with. Keep in mind that most of these are falsities and the money was just squandered.

I wish they would just invest this money into poor countries like Nigeria to lift you guys out of poverty.
What gain does giving money to poor countries bring to America? And space travel could do a lot as technology evolves, for example we could get Helium 3 for the moon and use it for nuclear fission which could power the whole earth with no more then 20 plants. Then there's also the potential to terraform other planets it's no news that climate change is taking place and the reforms are not radical enough unless we do something soon then earth is gone so spreading populations onto other planets could be a potential solution to lessen the burden on earth

I'm happy with the progress so far. However, with time as we progress, we will have to draft a list of all the Igbo clans and communities wherever they are found in Nigeria, be it SE, SS and NC. We would have to conduct a research and also as new members join on Facebook, they would mention their village/clan as well as LGA and state.

Then communal assistance through freewill donations will be to offer assistance to those clans at the fringes of Igboland, by popular vote, after the admin must have listed the clans that could be assisted. The account that would be receiving the donations would be managed by the Catholic/Anglican Church to aid transperancy.

Assistance to communities could be in the form of bore holes, health centre renovations and stocking of basic drugs, donations/grants to needy widows and orphans etc. With time and depending on how donations are coming, we can expand to other areas. Such donations would be done in the presence of the community Eze and the banner clearly written that it is coming from the group because the community is part of the Igbo nation. Any Eze or community that is still suffering from identity crises or doesn't want to belong or be seen as Igbo would not enjoy the benefits.

With time, the national Secretariat would be in Enugu with state Exco members that would be registered in all the states that have Igbo clans in it. It would be the duty of these registered exco members to organize any visitation or supervise any project going on in their domain. They must also be Igbo indigenes of those respective states and they must be passionate about Igbo affairs and be ready to defend Igbo interests at all times.

Otua ka oha m n'onu. Ka anyi bidogodu ebea.
Why are you giving the money to Church what makes that transparent? I would rather somebody we can trust handles it because there's even corruption among Priests and Pastors.

I don't think you understand the Man.
He is neither here nor there. He never said that Aboh is Igboland.
He is still maintaining neutrality, that is Igbo/Bini/Isoko.
In other words, Aboh could be considered as a "No man's land" from his submission. But that doesn't mean Ndigbo will dive in when the Indigenes never proclaimed that they are on any of the three party, Infact they are openly against pro-Igbo movement.
Go back to the thread from the Aboh dude when he was claiming Igbo. His intention was made clear that is
"OK I am now igbo. I have considered to be Igbo after much persuasion and grovelling from Ndigbo, but Aboh must be reinstated as the commercial hub of Igboland over Onitsha then Aboh again shall be considered as the Cradle of Igbo Civilisation with Aboh Obi considered as the king of Ndigbo"
This is exactly what his thread was saying. Go back and read it again. Read in between the lines.
The Dude is never Igbo and won't in the near future. Don't let Aboh of all people play the Ikwerre game on Ndigbo over again.
The bolded is not what I said on my thread alone I only said Aboh should be giving a port as well as Onitsha and investment brought into it's fishing economy nowhwere did I mention grovelling or persuasion and nowhere did I say I wanted Obi of Aboh to be considered King of Igbo I said based off of British writings that's what he was considered and I am Igbo not sure what your grudge is

No revolution can ever happen in Nigeria and if you are the one to lead the revolution please don't forget to tell them you are not Igbo as your people always say tell them you are aboh,we igbos cannot suffer for aliens speaking our language like nzeogwu did in the 60s

There are a lot of Fulani terrorists and Ijaw land-grabbers that now speak Igbo. DSS or any anti-Igbo group can hire any of them, and ask them to pose as authentic Igbos and speak with the admins, and be allowed in.

All it takes to destroy this group is for just one fifth columnist to be admitted into it.

My advice is that you kick out people with non-Igbo names from that group.

To make it tighter, only restrict it to people, who have had their facebook account, as from yesterday backwards. Any facebook account created today onward should not be allowed into the group

I know why I gave this two suggestions. Believe you me, it will help out massively for what you guys are setting out to do.
This rule doesn't make sense I don't personally have a facebook account as of now what should be done is you have to answer a few questions and talk to an Admin before being accepted i'm still trying to make a facebook account so it would be unfair if I couldn't join for whatever reason

As has been seen across nairaland the Igbo community has begun taking back lands that originally belonged to them in various states in the south south and even in the north central and in light of this new development I believe it is high time for my Yoruba brothers and sisters to join hands in doing the same i've heard of Yoruba people in Kogi, Edo, Delta and in northern parts of Kwara it is now time for us to lay claim tothese lands once and for all and in soonest hopefully unite with other groups in the South and effectively map out each others land and in the end we can become a united south and be able to fight against the north can get the Nigeria we want

yes ite seriously impressive, the rate.
Tatu city currently stands at over 65 businesses and it began since 2007.
The one in Ghana is a lost case just few businesses.
I don't think the commercial and business areas would be what they would jump into. Right now the industrial areas is the hot cake. I'm certain that asides ariel foods and hmd that have cometed their factories, other businesses like kenol, rosette, Sana, stadium, mantrac, universal homes, rungas, loatsad etc have workers on ground in various stages of construction of theirs.

Next move would be residential I don't think any commercial business would want to move into an empty city for now. That side would be the last.

As for low rise buildings all the areas under my blue doodle are low-rise, it's just divided into residential and commercial. The green part is commercial.
How many people are supposed to live in the city at once? Also apart from Unity homes does there seem to be any other private investors interested in building in the residential sector of Alaro city

Whatever he says is fine by me. If he confirms her people (Aboh) is either Isoko or Bini, I am OK with it.
Thank you
Aboh is a mixed town and so is the whole of Ndokwa land both Igbo and Isoko live there, in Aboh town there are different divisions or quarters for different ethnic groups other the years different people came and set up base in Aboh but it was ultimately an Igbo area so to assimilate the Isoko immigrants had to make their names Igbo and even celebrate Igbo festivals held in Aboh.

Your behaviour here showed how toothless you are to non Igbo but vocal when it is time to push Ndigbo under the bus.
Step aside, let me handle all of them on behalf of the Good people of Ndokwa.

Madam kmcutez, your turn to be clarified.
First of all you have to acknowledge and accept that Africa is a patrichal society. So the ethnicity of the father of a child goes a long way in dictating the identity of the child.
You've been bent on your mother's Igbo name to prove that Isoko bears igbo name but never mentioned anything about your father, his ethnic or clue about his own name. No two Isoko parents will give birth and name the baby full Igbo names except as a tribute to an Igbo man who can be a very close family friend or mentor (eg Ex Gov Rotimi Amaechi).
The question here should not be the Igbo name of your mother but the ethnicity of your father.
If your father is Isoko, forget the Igbo name of your mother. You are Isoko.
If the father of your mother is Isoko and due to some circumstances she was given Igbo name, She is also Isoko.

Isoko doesn't own Ndokwa or Igbo lands in Bayelsa. Any Isoko in Ndokwa is simply a mere extremely small fraction. They dont represent Ndokwa. Ndokwa is Igbo although the contemporary people say they are Bini.
Thank you
My dad and his dad are both from Aboh my dad's traditional name is Obinna I said my dad's mother is from Anambra so ultimately I am Igbo I never mentioned my mother once
