Oluesther: And you will be thrown where? Better work out your own salvation and leave pastors alone. The difference between us and them is that while we live our lifes without pretence, they go about acting like saints and committing gravious atrocities. Or which God Fearing man will use millions of people's hard earned money to buy private jest, bullet prrof vehicles, universities, armed security aids and yet those who provide the money have no access to these same things. You even you those things you have acquired from their money to torment them? Abeg let's leave out sentiments and face reality. |
ifihearam: How can a true man of God lose a case, una tink say na fake pastor him be or na one of those useless alfas.sone of Jezebel listen and listen good. the Businessman that owns a church, university, media press and fleets of aircraft bribed his way through that case. The judge is definitely a few million naira richer now. Day of judgement go tell una. when you see all these fake men being thrown to hell fire. |
WHEM THE man of GOD GOES BRIBING THE JUDICIARY. Which sane nation will such a molestation be allowed to go down the drain like that? Shame to ALL the evil men using the name of God to deceive ignorant people.[/b] |
Connoisseur: Yeah, it sure was scary. Moving to install MTN tracker on the other carsPlease do because it will save you from the huge loss. |
ublog360: God searchet the hearts of man. it is not for you to judge or accertain who is who. God knows who is on trial.Must we always involve God at the slightest opportunity? Did God instruct them to live large at the expense of their congregation members? |
bigx: The particular business I just talked about is Bulk SMS Wholesaling, I own some of the biggest bulk sms websites in Nigeria. And the first started with just a domain name at N2000 years ago. Thanks for sharing |
bigx: I asked this question once long ago, I don't think you'd get anything viable asking in a public forum and also the money isn't the issue,Can you try to share the type of business you ventured into? Let's be very open and encourage this people as much as we can. Lots of people out there are loosing hope in life and even going suicidal because of lack of job. Nigeria could sure be a better place if we share positive advice and beneficial knowledge to less awared individuals. |
Audinowing: Am a graduate of accounting with a very good result too, but for soone months now I ve been looking for job n non is forth coming. I am just tired with this job search thing n wants to venture into business. But the question is that, what kind of business can I do with 100k? Pls guys advice.A whole lot my brother. Most times you can actual start off a business with 0kozo (zero kobo). Even you are selling 'service' instead of 'product' then you sure might need very few startup cash. I.E, maybe minimal amount for a complimentary card, flyers and one or two printed out proposal to be submitted. Like you will always be asked what do you have a great passion for? Go and think deep come back with your answers and we will take it from there. |

Yes! I know you are eager to find out which company has such job opening. The truth is NONE!!! *No job can ever guaranty you 100% even if it own buy your best friend or close relative as one day the relationship might dwindle and either you get fired or your willingly resign. *There's No job that gives you a steady monthly salary increase. The more you work, the more you earn is usually pay policies in companies. You are only expected to get an increase accordance to your promotion and the truth is, promotions come only on the average on once a year. Whether you like it or not, the only job that can guarantee you all the above mentioned and lots more is when you take that risk today and become your own boss. The the Employer and not the employee. Be the payer and not the payee. Be the one to Hire and not the person to get Fired. Be the person to jump off the bed in the morning eager to go to the office and not the one who hated weekdays and shouted Thank God Its Friday (TGIF). As the days passes by, more companies are folding up, merging, downsizing, and sacking their staff. From Banking, Telecoms, Oil and Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Hospitality, Manufacturing and the entire Private and Public owned business sectors, people are loosing their jobs each second at the slightest excuses. Companies are maximizing cost and minimizing expenses (staff salary and allowances inclusive). At a point in our lives the Banking, Hospitality, Telecoms, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas were all booming sectors, but like the saying goes, "change is the only constant thing in life" Follow the 80/20 Principul and be guaranteed of a happy life forever. |
NOTE : Unless he shows you people the OTHER picture of the golf 4 he claims to have, you all should be extremely careful. A word is enough. |
Connoisseur: My Nissan Murano jeep was snatched at gunpoint this Sunday th 8th of July. I wish I had Tia mtntracking installed. A 3 weeks old carDamn this is scary. I mean really scary. I think I am discovering something very meaningful. |
735l, it clearly shows he is a humble and down to heart person unlike others who will shout to heavens about the favours to render out to people. |

bigx: No I haven't but my Fiancee had her car stolen (more like picked) earlier this year.wooow!!! such a sad one. But it baffles me how people spend hundred of thousands and sometime even millions buying a car and dont deem it fit to put a car tracker of less that 40k in it or even get it insured. Hope she knows better now. |
bigx: Its tempting I must confess, when I hear all the salaries they pay, but then I always reason if they can pay that amount to hundreds of people, then imagine how much profits the owners of the company would be pocketing. You have just said it right. i so much believe in the 80/20 principul. |
justaqad: seriously i admire ur comments,i would really like to know you.He wasn't bias at all and totally nailed the point. |
@Bigx, believe me your case is rare as most people with that your grade and qualification will be rolling at the gate of companies to get employed. I love your spirit and must confess also that I admire your will power. |
MUDI MUDI AFRICA www.mudionline.com And Others. If you aren't wearing or at least have a single piece of Mudi's collection then you sure either don't have a good taste for fashion or can't afford to spend cool cash on yourself. The dude is classy, detailed and brilliant. |
That's some very enlightening contributions there. |
Going into the world of Entrepreneurship is the Biggest, Bravest and Riskiest thing anyone can venture into. It takes the strong hearted to enback on such journey because its such a risky one. Like any other thing or phase in life, once you have started and mastered the game there is usually no going back as you just want to keep moving. While Employees crave for Security (salary), Entrepreneurs Are Hungry for Freedom (Profit making). At the end of the day money is the going factor but sure with a whole lot of differences. We won't go into all that details right now. Its a topic for another day. Entrepreneurs in the house I hail una oh! Its never always easy but with determination, perseverance and above all, the Grace of God there's certainly always a way. I will like you all to share your entrepreneur story. How it all started, what made you venture into the business you are in today, what motivated you, the risk you took, the castigation people placed on you and also what has kept you going? Share your experiences (both the happy and sad times) in the journey of your road to freedom and happiness as a business owner (entrepreneur). Also drop some words to motivate those people who are thing of starting up their own businesses. |
Every Religion like every family, nation, ethnic group, school, office, occapation and all. They have both the Good and Bad ones. So also we will find the good and bad eggs amongst religious leaders within different religious groups and society. In those days (early 90s and before), religious leaders cared mostly about Winning souls (salvation) and preaching the true words of God. But today what we find is most of them preaching prosperity and how to acquire wealth. Wealth not to spend in the way of God. But wealth so one can come and be a major financier in the religious house. We have even heard of some religious leaders openly defending stolen items like generator, cars, houses and the rest they received from known financial criminals and workers of blue chip companies. Today do we still have religious leaders that preach the word of God? If yes, where do we find them most. The Mosque or the Church? |
The fear of Every car owner is (1) for the car to break down while on the road and (2) to get stolen. The latter being the most scary. No car (or property) owner ever dreams or imagine his / her car getting stolen. Nairalanders, can you share your experience on when you had you car stolen and how and where you recovered it (if you ever did). Also what are the measures you will advice car owners to take to ensure their cars never get stolen. |
Na everyday you go dey open new thread for this JALOPY of yours? You just dey waste bandwith. Don't be greedy and sell it at the price serious buyers have offered you in your prvious threads. Come here dey pretend like say the car just enter market. |
Like the saying goes "every man with his own problem". Different people of all age, status, nationality and background one have just "one" thing they cry to God day and night to change or turn around for the better for them. For some it is; *Lack of Child *No Husband/Wife *Lack of Finance (money) *Poor / Terminal Health *Lack of job *Poor Family background *Not yet admitted into the University (higher instituion). *Betrayal from close friends /family. *Being Implicated for the false reason. Among many other. Like the saying goes that no man has it all perfect. Late Steve Jobs (founder of Apple) was extremely intelligent and creative, very wealthy, well respected but had a terminal disease. Michael Jackson with all his wealth and fame had a poor health and wasn't able to father a child. Oprah Wilfrey with all her wealth and fame doesn't have a husband (of course she appears it doesn't bother her but we should know better). On and on we can mention people who we think have almost everything except for "one thing". That very thing that give them sleepless night. What could be termed as life's biggest problem? Let's share experiences of that "one thing" we needed (or still need) at one point or the other in our lives. |
When we sit and look around we will find out that from 1960 till date Corruption has been in Nigeria, the only difference is it keeps getting worse by the day. Pastors, Musicians, teachers, Professors, Lawyers and others who had a better chance of curbing this menace (corruption) from becoming cancerous all failed in their job (except for a few). Pastors preached Prosperity instead of the fear of God and Salvation. Musicians sang praise songs and jargons instead to things of societal values. Teachers and Lecturers taught crookish ideas to students instead of making them upright. Lawyers defended lies and sinful acts for financial gains. All these lead to the terrible state Nigeria presently finds itself in today. Men like Fela Anipulapo Kuti aka baba 70 stood out and fought the injustice in the system, an act we was beaten, jailed, humiliated and even lost his mother and property for. He was a man whose songs of the 60s,70s,80s and even 90s are things we can relate to today. Another man is Eedris AbdulKarim. A hiphop musician who even though was termed a "wack" rapper, some of his songs. Like the popular 'jagajaga' are situations we still face in Nigeria today. His single act of standing up to face 50cents against discrimination is the main reason why Nigerian acts are now highly respected and well paid by event organizers and media houses today. A young raggae musician was also a man whose hit songs like 'our government bad', 'crises, 'mr president' and a few others were songs which spoke for millions of Nigerian citizens. Femi Falana, a human right activist and Lawyer is amongst the few truthful and human right lawyers we have in the country today who speak the truth. Pastor Tunde Bakare, now seeing as an opposition in the present administration. But this is a pastor who even before he join politics was a people's fighter, human rights activist as well as a top member of the Save Nigeria Group who fought the so called cabals that saw powers being handed to Jonathan Ebele. G. (Nigeria's current president). Apart from a few others too, the remaining public figures like the Pastors, Musicians, Lawyers and the rest all are after their personal greed (satisfaction) and this has seen them not speaking the truth when necessary. The above men are men who truly deserve a National award. |
Wakeup and smell the roses. This you car nan NEVER be bought more than 150k (that's if you are lucky). Or where to you expect a texi driver r cabucabu man to raise that amount because those are the people that will eventually buy that your box....oh sorry! I meant car. |
ftmom: Number 5 soooooooo irks meSo on point. I have a POLICY on my communication via BBM, Yahoo messanger or Facebook and that is "Don't dare chat with me using short forms". I have deleted and warned even very old folks and I am happy a whole lot of people avoid trying it with me. Words like GM (Good morning), HML (happy married Life) and the whole rest never ever get a thank you response from me. I bring to their attention it is meaningless and as such I will ignore it. I have come up with articles on how parents and the government can turn around things positively before they totally go bad but it seems everyone wants to be termed civilized. I feel so sorry for this country in the next 5-10years thing would have totally gone bad. Religious Studies, History and Social studies should be made compulsory in all level of the Education system (or at least from Nursary to senior secondary school) because it seens this generation is about to be totally consumed by stu*pidity and satanic minds. e |
@desari, in as much as your thread has been totally derail (the norm in nairaland), I will tell you to discard criticism that had absolutely nothing to do with this thread. I will suggest the few things for you; *Even though I am 101% against Long Distance Relationships, I will suggest you talk to CLOSE FAMILY members (notice I didn't say friends or just family members. I said 'close')to try and matchmake you with trusted, responsible young men they know. Maybe like a family/close friend kind of dating. At least for a start. *The chances of getting a reliable suitor over there might be quite slims 'cus I know a whole lot of people who have relocated back home on realizing age isn't no longer on their side and needed to settle down. I am totallly not saying you should relocated but if you have your papers and can afford it, coming home at least once a year on a 2-3 weeks visit might just help you. *Try as much as you can to hide your frustration/desperation on this dating/marriage issue so that men do not take advantage of you. *Dont seTtle for less. If you had always wanted a Yoruba man who is independent, don't let fear and haste make you end up with a jamiacan that I'd dependent on you. Maintain and stick to your vision. *Most importantly PRAY. There's absolutely nothing beyond the powers of God. You need to cry to Him and not over 900,000 members on nairaland or the real world who will only compound your problems. All the best girl..... )t |
SmoothCrim: Nigerian girls are the easiest you don't even need to chat her upYeah! But you will sure go Bankrupt before you can lay our Nigerian Damsels. They don't come cheap you know. Your Girls are so cheap, they will pay to get layed. s |

Don't forget you people stole Eguzi, ogbono and banga soup from us and even when your cooks prepare them, it taste like shi*t.
