Tales by the moonlight |
casket: God bless you dear...Please drop the link to Canada jobs. To hell with Nigeria. |
What a silly action? Anyone that has been in teaching hospital knows that resident doctors do 70% of the work. Locum doctors can never be as good as the resident doctors. I expect more avoidable deaths in our hospitals. When Nigerians understand the implication of the decision, they will rise to action. Who will take over from those old consultants when they retire? Chei! Jonathan is clueless o. |

egopersonified: My dear Lala, though I have always(and always will) teased you about yr threads making fp, I always knew they were fp worthy. I always thought u copied and pasted but i'm just discovering you dont. In this life, we have to take chances and know we did our best. I dont know what u do presently but pls open yr eyes and see beyond what everyone else sees. If u are able to contact them, just go along with a lawyer and a laptop and negotiate for a pay or freelance job. If u sue, u ll be in court for donkey years. If at the end nothing comes of it, dust yourself up and start applying for jobs related to this, always go with your laptop. U can walk into anywhere even if they didnt advertise for. U can also make money online just writing. And most important of all, pls, pls, pls, plssssss,oh, start your own blog or something online. See linda ikeji today. Pls I want to come back online in five years from now and hear of one lalasticlala as i'm hearing about linda ikeji now. Lots of love and all the best.Lalasticlala, Pls consider this advice. Nigerian judiciary is not yet matured to deliver a timely judgement on a case like this one. Suing them might be too expensive for you. Try to extract some concessions from them. Above all, start a blog like Linda Ikeji. I have confidence in your ability to succeed. |
GenBuhari: She may have died, what proof do you have that Ebola killed her?Oh my God! Your case is hopeless. Someone that tested positive to the Ebola test kit. Someone that was full of life some weeks ago, then all of a sudden came down sick after coming in contact with a patient exhibiting similar symptoms. I'm disappointed if actually you are a medical doctor. I can only pity your patients. |
Hourglass4real: Abi o or he can just drive down to Yaba and hug one or two of the patients that are currently being treated there. By the time he cares for two without protective gears nd nothing hapens, then we will all know he has proven his point, that its indeed a "hoax"Exactly! He can hug and take bed in the quarantine facility. I'm fine with his decision provided he does not turn himself to biological terrorist. |
GenBuhari: Who told you it is hightly contagious?Seriously you are not making sense. Tell that crap to Ejelonu family that lost their daughter. You are free to come down to Lagos and embrace Ejelonu's corpse and take a bed in the quarantine room. Then see what will become of you after some days. You are saying this nonsense because u feel safe from the disease. Like I said earlier, you are free to hold on to your belief, but please, don't spread it. |
GenBuhari: His family in Liberia what about the flight passengers and crew are you not going to explain that away also?I hope that you are the original GenBuhari. I'm asking this question because your comments reek of ignorance. For your information Mr Sawyer avoided physical contact with people starting from the Liberian airport as shown by the CCTV camera. Moreover, Ebola is not airborne. There is a possibility that he may not have contact with anyone in the flight. It is unfortunate that his behaviour in the hospital became bizarre, thereby exposing the workers to danger. |
GenBuhari: Ok assuming that his wife and family were in the USA (how convenient for the hoaxers)I thought you are a medical doctor? The fact that Ebola is highly contagious does not mean that everyone that are exposed to the virus must contract the disease. Well you have the right to cling to your hoax theory, but please don't deceive others. Sawyer's sister and many members of his family died from the disease. How many of them do you want to die before you believe? |
GenBuhari:Patrick Sawyer's family live in US. Get your facts right. @Post, I'm saddened by the loss of Miss Ejelonu. Her loss is painful. She was the one that gave us insight on the recklessness of Mr Sawyer in his final days. May God grant Ejelonu's family the fortitude to bear this loss. |
Absolute nonsense! This is a typical example of defending the indefensible. Can Mrs Sawyer explain. . .some rather acts of recklessness like. . . 1. Handling his sister's dead body without personal protective clothing and travelling to Nigeria when he was quarantined. 2. Lying to Drs and nurses at First Consultant hospital Lagos on the true nature of his ailment. 3. Attempts to mislead doctors by suggesting malaria. 4. Yanking off his intravenous catheter and deliberately exposing health workers to the virus. 5. Bizarre behaviours like peeing on the nurses. 6. Insisting on leaving the health facility when he was told that he has Ebola, which will expose other Nigerians to the danger. The fact remains that I don't buy into Mrs Sawyer's defense. Her husband acted recklessly. |

slap1: OP modify that post of yours and put a disclaimer. Then call the editor of the mag and report the issue. If s/he says what you don't want to hear, SUE FOR INTELLECTUAL THEFT!Too late. . .they have the screenshot of the said article already. Basing his argument on that will make him appear dishonest and this will give the defense team a much needed escape route to argue for the case to be thrown out. The writer should just sue Icon weekly for straightforward plagiarism, link his true identity to his online identity, then argue based on that. This should serve as a lesson to other posters here. Always protect your post. Some lazy journalists are lurking around to feed fat on your intellect. |
Chei! I'm starting to miss Sanusi o. Dear Emir Sanusi, I am one of your critics. Please it in your heart to forgive me. If Emefiele does not take time, he will find this seat too hot for him. |
Abeg dis tori na lie. I don't believe it! |

@Techmymoney, are you a bitter kola merchant? Just asking. . . |
Volunteer with which hazmat suit? ![]()

|
django1: And why is this? ![]() |
Good for him. He is not fit to lead NMA in this perilous time. No one will miss him. |
Hahahaha ![]() Prof. Chukwu is a scam. He is giving Nigerians hope. How can a discussion to give Nigeria a top secret serum be done by a head of an agency? Not even the secretary of health. Why are Nigerians so gullible? A discussion of such nature should be between Obama and Goodluck. Don't you guys know that enhanced Ebola virus is part of US biological weapons. How do you expect them to share the antidote so soon it's not possible. That SCAM called Chukwu must RESIGN! His incompetence is smelling to the high heaven. He is no different from Bitter-kola IWU. |
petreli08: Correction too...its 2-21 days ![]() Thanks by the way. Correction noted! |
Jakumo: Ebola's average incubation period is 3 weeks before physical symptoms appear, followed by two weeks of agonizing internal bleeding leading to a hellish death, HOWEVER, in some victims, the virus can cause illness in just 2 to 3 DAYS, followed by the same agonizing death, all in the space of ONE single week. Why are you feeding half-truth to the public? The incubation period of ebola virus is 10 - 21 days. Please correct that info. Others are correct. |
Kasynpaulsyn1997: the roads in the city are not clean unlike uyo where the govt employ workers to keep all roads in the city clean by sweeping the roads every morning.Even Lagos roads are dirty. Enugu is way ahead of Lagos in road cleanliness. Only Abuja rate higher on my scale. Though waste bins by The enugu state waste management agency(ESWAMA) can be seen dotted round the city but waste is not properly managed in enugu.False! Enugu has efficient waste management system. The best I've seen so far. Wastes are properly managed. In enugu most streets lights on the roads has stopped workingPlease can you be specific. Most of the streetlights are in good working condition. I love to drive round Enugu in the middle of the night and I hardly use headlamp, unlike Lagos. and no one to trim/cut the grasses that has over grown the demarcation for dual carriage. You may be right, but with some degree of exaggeration. The city is beautiful! Let the truth be told. Why do I sense cynicism in your write-up. No city planning at all! Most buildings are covered with dust. This is false. Most of the buildings are covered with dust in the thick of the rainy season? Pls find your way to the circus. I presume that you are out to harm public perception of the city. My suggestion is that government should force most landlords to re-paint their houses or pay fine if govt does it for them. Just give landlords Ohakim treatment. And we have buildings with rusted zincs. Oh,jeeeez touting is very much in this city! You are right! Just few buildings have rusted roofs. The ogbete market and garriki market/park should be moved out of the city because it makes the city look odd that axis of the city is worse!I agree, but it is not practicable. Even a modern motor park constructed by the govt won't be a bad idea just like the ITAM GENERAL MOTOR PARK in uyo. Thanks for your suggestion. Enugu can only boost of tall buildings(which 40% are old/ancient)This is lie. Infact I'm beginning to doubt if you actually visited the city. The only place in the east with that figure is Onitsha. but when it comes to city planning and beautification its a no no no no no!!!C'mon Enugu is beautiful with good planning and good road networks. Just admit it. As i was coming from uyo i was expecting a CITY not a city. In my honest opinion uyo beats enuguThat's your opinion! I prefer Enugu to any other Nigerian city. Note:- am from enugu state, born and bred in nnewi anambra state now reside in uyo akwaibom state but truth be told----->am very much disappointed at enugu(my capital city)! That's how we know imposters. Do we care to know where you are from? |
Are you serious that this jalopy car has mileage of 47K miles? Your lies are beyond defense. |
aluunoble: But Sir, do u agree with me that some members of NMA are not so comfortable with some demands of NMA?Even in heaven, there is no uniformity in agreement. Leading to a clash between God and his then Arch-angel lucifer. If there can be a disagreement in heaven, why should you be surprised if doctors do? |
Zeus777: yea the source is a jokeAfter following the minute-to-minute proceedings of the NMA EDM, I can't help but agree with you that the source of this news together with the news is a joke. |
