Tambuwal is a PDP member. Amaechi is PDP. What happened to all the opposition figures. Are they not credible enough or are they not national enough?

OAM4J: His analysis sounds reasonable and convincing till he mentioned Ameachi as the best VP candidate for opposition. I doubt Ameachi or anyone from core South-south can give the opposition the votes they need against Jonathan. Oshiomole will even deliver more votes from SS than Ameachi. IMO, the best candidates for opposition VP position are Rochas and Fashola.

Fashola for his track records on performance will pull most of SW posts especially the undecided/neutral people. Rochas can divide SE votes between Jonathan and Opposition, cos some (who believe/know that there is no way GEJ can handover Presidency to SE after him) will see him as the most likely presidential candidate if Tambuwal/Buhari/whoever should win as president.

Overall, fair assessment.

CyberG: 104 is a veeeerrrrryyy poor mark! What is there to be proud about? In my time, I scored almost perfect marks, and got admission into all the FGC schools, yet my parents though it better that I should attend even a better private, foreign school, which turned out one of the best things things and decisions ever! What is the bragging about scoring such poor marks? The policy makers factor in a lot of things into cut offs which I cannot explain here and at your age, you should know this. If you want to enjoy a lower cut off point, you should have let your kid apply to Gombe FGC! In anyway, medicocres scoring and rejoicing in mediocre marks can only be a mediocre people.

Imo is 138 while Gombe is 2. ( I mean TWO, 2)!

So, my son scored 104 but he cannot get admission while someone who scored 2 will be admitted.
And you know why? Because he is from Anambra State!

oluamid: According to the constitution, It is a treasonable offence to want to divide the country whether by peaceful or forceful means, and because the Police is powerless against the Boko Haram, Ombatse, ND militants and other groups does not mean it should turn a blind eye.

The constitution gives everyone the right of association but it also give instances where this right won't be guaranteed. I subscribe to what someone posted above that 'Biafra' need not be a 'physical' entity. It could be what is used to unite the Igbo nation and ensured they have a unity of purpose in the Nigerian polity.

Nigeria is made up of different peoples and tribes and everyone of them feel aggrieved and marginalised. If anyone feels he dosent want to belong to 'Nigeria', there are lawful ways to make yourselves heard. Protests and demonstrations won't give you what you want, rather, it would unite the rest of the country against you.

IMHO, I think you should hold your House of Assembly representatives, Governors, and others in the corridors of power responsible. They ought to be the ones who ensure that the constitution is ammended to allow any part of the country to leave if they so wish. In this one thing they have failed woefully.

Abagworo: Don't worry about this news. This was a case of set up and Adebiyi was just a collateral damage. Chinedu has been in court with his Kenyan wife over his property and the best they could come up with was to set him up with drugs. It is high time Nigeria deals with all these poor countries riding on our bad reputation to met out wickedness on Nigerian citizens.
