PapaBrowne: Its just funny how opposition members tell us on one hand that the PDP is the problem of Nigeria and on another are3 telling us they thier desire is to field two serving PDP members as their Presidential candidate. This is the reason why I call APC - Association of Politically Confused. On one hand, they will promise change, on the other hand, their body language and actions are aimed at perpetuating the status quo. On one hand, they will condemn PDP, one the other hand, they will seek for its leaders in PDP. They are totally confused on their priorities. God forbid Nigerians from chosing them as a viable alternative to PDP. |
OAM4J: His analysis sounds reasonable and convincing till he mentioned Ameachi as the best VP candidate for opposition. I doubt Ameachi or anyone from core South-south can give the opposition the votes they need against Jonathan. Oshiomole will even deliver more votes from SS than Ameachi. IMO, the best candidates for opposition VP position are Rochas and Fashola.Granted, Fashola has supporters in southwest, so do PDP. The question now is, will he be electable outside southwest? Secondly, why not clamour for Rochas/Fashola? Why must it be the other way round? |
He did not mention south-east and middle-belt in his long mindless epistle. This man is a toast. He is not in touch with the political complexity of Nigeria. For him, Nigeria begins and end in the south-west. The same Tinubu that he elevated to the position of a sage had his party disgraced to third position in his south-west backyard(Ondo). Ofcourse, he wont mention that. He should best take seat in gossip journalism. Politics is a complex game, not for goons with tunnel vision. |

Left to me, Enya's song is as angelic as you can get. It helps me to concentrate and tackle difficult issues in an amazing simple way. |
Why do mods allow some posters to make jest of Igbo posters whenever they make a legitimate complaint? Why do they allow them to label Igbo posters whiners when 90% of the complaints on this thread were made by them. Some folks wonder why we accuse them of bias. This is one of the reasons. |
babyosisi: Or nurseUNTH Newborn Special Care Unit will never allow a nurse to do manual ambubaging for such patient. That lady must be a house officer or a resident doctor. |
Adenuga should sue too |
~Bluetooth:That's a silly and twisted reasoning. Boli is my favourite meal, but it does not mean that I'm connecting with the bottom of the society by simply patronizing the sellers. |
noblezone: By equal representation, you mean that an illiterate should be employed as a secretary or even the Head of a pasrastal just to "balance representation"?This is what I call superior argument and intelligent reasoning. Keep it up bro. ![]() |
Another Igboman used as PPRO. Nigerians are good at using Igbos to play their dirty games. |
Survival of the fittest But na better bushmeat be dis o. I no mind fight with person for this food. ![]() |
Afam4eva: Na waooHmmm, funding may be the issue here. Not easy to get someone, organisation or government to sponsor the separation surgery. |
^^ Depends on your interpretation of "unlawful means". Can you expatiate on that term? |
hmm In essence they are benefitting from the activities of boko haram. |
Ola Johnson: Where did you see that in my quote?Omo, no be you make this comment? Ola Johnson: Anybody can be honoured. But this one is coming to a man that is dead; you saying Wole Soyinka could not be honoured, nay celebrated that way does not hold water because he is still alive. Soyinka will be celebrated as a living legend, not as a dead person whom everybody would wish a peaceful rest like Achebe. Meanwhile I'm still reading There Was A Country, noting the lies in it. I just finished where he titled, The Asaba Massacre. CA saw this as bad, if at all it is not hyped, but saw nothing wrong in Joe Achuzia's "Biafran" troops carrying a raid on the the Second Division of the Nigerian Army led by Murtala Muhammad.I threw the question based on the highlighted portion of your comment. The bolded shows that you do not discriminate between legitimate and illegitimate military targets. Since you have a twisted understanding of legitimate military target, I decided to go to the basics and ask you to "define leitimate military target". Did Achuzia attack civilians? Did Murtala Muhammed attack civilians? |

CyberG: 104 is a veeeerrrrryyy poor mark! What is there to be proud about? In my time, I scored almost perfect marks, and got admission into all the FGC schools, yet my parents though it better that I should attend even a better private, foreign school, which turned out one of the best things things and decisions ever! What is the bragging about scoring such poor marks? The policy makers factor in a lot of things into cut offs which I cannot explain here and at your age, you should know this. If you want to enjoy a lower cut off point, you should have let your kid apply to Gombe FGC! In anyway, medicocres scoring and rejoicing in mediocre marks can only be a mediocre people. ![]() Lekwa iti mpataka. ![]() |
Prof. Chinua Achebe dropped out of medicine in UI, hence lost his scholarship. He had to pay through his nose to graduate from UI. Today, how many of his former classmates can boast of or equal his achievements? My friend, think well and follow your heart desire. You are still very young at 25 years. You still have time to pick up the pieces of your life. You can't get yourself out of this shiit-hole by digging deeper. Follow your heart desire. My maternal uncle is a doctor and a legal practitioner. Studied medicine first and later followed his heart desire to study law when he was 38! My friend, FOLLOW YOUR HEART DESIRE! |
Bros follow your heart desire. Medicine is a thankless job and is not worth it. Please quit immediately, you got nothing to lose. |
noblezone: We have just confirmed this morning that the cutoff mark for Anambra is 139Thought they said that Anambrarians are mostly spare parts sellers and petty businessmen? Why is their cut-off mark high? |
Ola Johnson: Anybody can be honoured. But this one is coming to a man that is dead; you saying Wole Soyinka could not be honoured, nay celebrated that way does not hold water because he is still alive. Soyinka will be celebrated as a living legend, not as a dead person whom everybody would wish a peaceful rest like Achebe. Meanwhile I'm still reading There Was A Country, noting the lies in it. I just finished where he titled, The Asaba Massacre. CA saw this as bad, if at all it is not hyped, but saw nothing wrong in Joe Achuzia's "Biafran" troops carrying a raid on the the Second Division of the Nigerian Army led by Murtala Muhammad. Now I have a question for you. Define "legitimate" millitary target? |
oluamid: According to the constitution, It is a treasonable offence to want to divide the country whether by peaceful or forceful means, and because the Police is powerless against the Boko Haram, Ombatse, ND militants and other groups does not mean it should turn a blind eye.I disagree with you. Nigeria is a signatory to the United Nations convention that guarantees right to self-determination. Insisting on locking in unhappy groups in the union will lead to a very violent breakup. The way the Nigerian national assembly is structured is hostile to the separatist aspirations, but friendly to corruption. So don't put the blame on the political representatives. |
~Bluetooth:They were threatening and intimidating the law-abiding citizens of Nigeria. They don't necessarily have to clash with the police to trigger police action. By the way, police clashed with MASSOB and not the other way round. |
~Bluetooth:How about the hoodlums that protested in Lagos with matchetes and rifles? Don't you think they should be neutralized first? |
I'm disillussioned by the leadership of Uwazulike. I'm lost on what he intends to achieve with this sit at home protest. |
Whenever Nigerian officials, operatives or their security agents does a dirty job, they will use an Igbo spokesman to do damage control. I have observed this trend in SSS, Police, Sanusi, and others. The question is, why do some Igbos allow their integrity to be compromised? |
Abagworo: Don't worry about this news. This was a case of set up and Adebiyi was just a collateral damage. Chinedu has been in court with his Kenyan wife over his property and the best they could come up with was to set him up with drugs. It is high time Nigeria deals with all these poor countries riding on our bad reputation to met out wickedness on Nigerian citizens.Anyone that fails to recognise this case as a plot to dispossess Chinedu of his hard earned investments, properties and money must have a skull filled with water. |
