chino24: This will be my first and last warning to you. You cannot pass entire day without mentioning my name? Why is that? Will you always link me to anything somebody covertly did online? If Abagworo decides to use a fake ID to convey his mind and later denies it, you will still blame chino. When you have family problem it will be chino. Listen man, I have invited you to my office, but you chose not to come. But I will track you down my own way.

Stop looking for my trouble little man. STOP MENTIONING MY ID ANYWHERE. If you have scores to settle with me, meet me at new fed. sec. Awka. Contact me via this email for direction: chino.dyke@yahoo.com
hahahahaha grin grin
You must be a joker and you must be laughing your ar.se off for issuing an impotent threat on the internet. Well, I see your comment as a lame attempt at cracking a joke.

Chino, I have told you before that I can only meet you on one condition. The condition is that you stop denigrating other Igbo states and start treating them with respect. I will be willing to arrange for a meeting with you within one month of noticing an attitudinal change in you.

Abagworro: Enugu state is not the 'pride of the east' and can never be. Nri Priest I support you on this period. There is nothing landmark or significant in enugu to warrant the call 'the pride of the east'. I have since dissociated IMO state from this, we are not part of their so called 'pride'. Its the pride of Enugu state people and not SE. I for one and many other Igbos cannot be proud of enugu state when we are out of the East. Period
This Abagworro looks like Chino's hackjob. I saw Chino a while ago loitering here without commenting. Only to switch to Abagworro monikker and comment on the thread. Abagworro, why not comment with Abagworo monikker?
PoliticsRe: Ojukwu's Eldest Son Sues Bianca & Other Family Members by ACM10: 4:22pm On Nov 24, 2012
deletrue: Very correct talk. Am not igbo man but prefer sincere talks from reasonable people like this man. The family should not allow the ojukwu achievements to fall different directions. I like ojukwu in those hey days because he was highly intelligent. Very brilliant. (that was the incamba of Nnewe himself) Please, try hard so as to end up peaceful. People who are close to chief Ojukwu should tell him to play matured role. Nobody should cause embarassment to the family.
Muchas gracias cool
PoliticsRe: Ojukwu's Eldest Son Sues Bianca & Other Family Members by ACM10:
mimifonwon: wait i how can he be the legal first son when his father never married his mom or paid her bride price, doesnt he know that in the igbo culture he has no right unless his father gave it to him before his death? please someone correct me if am wrong, by tradition-igbo, shebi he no be the right first son, cuz thats how ojukwu first took over his papa's inheritance due to the fact that chukwuemeka was the legal son, even though ojukwu's father had other elder sons?
That's the old Igbo custom. Even if his mother is not legally married to his mother, he still has his rightful place in Ojukwu family if he can prove through DNA analysis that Odimegwu is indeed his father. But Ojukwu family has to ask for it in court if they are in doubt.
I don't think that other members of Ojukwu family will be f00lish enough to take that route. He has the look of Ojukwu. Blood does not lie.

But traditionally, he is not the son of Ojukwu since no traditional marriage rite was performed for his mother(someone should correct me if I'm wrong). That explains why he was prevented from carrying out his traditional duty as Ojukwu's first son.

There are ways through which this problem will be resolved. Ojukwu's son should reach a compromise with other members of Ojukwu family and not fight them. He should know that they all have the same interest. When there is a clash of interest, there will be either war or compromise. War has its own drawbacks because you don't know who will emerge victorious. A victorious party might lose the peace. Therefore, the best option is COMPROMISE! Ojukwu's family should attend to his fears which I suspect is finance. Everyone should make a painful concession for the good of the family.

Going to court will kill off the last goodwill which the warring parties have for each other. In fact, Ojukwu's son is f00lish to take that route. Bianca is a lawyer. She has the goodwill of many friend of her late dad(C.C. Onoh) who are lawyers and are ready to defend her free-of-charge. Besides, she is close to the corridors of power. Let me not talk about Prof. Ojukwu who I heard that some of his sons are lawyers. The crux of the whole story is that Chief Ojukwu cannot sustain this fight. He must reach a compromise with other members of Ojukwu family.
PoliticsRe: Ojukwu's Eldest Son Sues Bianca & Other Family Members by ACM10: 3:12pm On Nov 24, 2012
femliany: you sound like someone
who knows the details. Are you one of
ojukwu's son too?
NO
As a matter of fact, I'm from Ogidi; while Ojukwu is from Nnewi. But I did part of my secondary school education in Nnewi and did the rest in Onitsha. In my life, I've only come in contact with three members of Ojukwu family. They are:

1. Odimegwu Ojukwu

2. Bianca Ojukwu

3. Professor Ojukwu

Prof. Ojukwu trained people that trained people that trained us. grin He is the one who I've had a close interaction with. Though, he does not know me personally. He is a man of impeccable character. He is distinguished in his profession. He maintains a high moral standard in his discharge of his duties in his profession and as the head of his family. I can't stand by and watch good-for-nothing rascal defame his hard-earned reputation and paint him in a bad light.
PoliticsRe: Ojukwu's Eldest Son Sues Bianca & Other Family Members by ACM10:
I know Professor Joseph Ojukwu. He is one of the most respected general surgeon in UNTH. He trained professor Ezeome, who is now the head of department of surgery in UNTH. He is a man of integrity. He is equally principled and humane and can never hurt a fly. The claim that he threatened to kill or maim someone sounds ludicrous to me. He is elderly and his sight is poor. I've had an interaction with him in his clinic at UNTH.

I know that Ojukwu's son is afraid of what the future might bring. He is unemployed and out of cash. His only hope of sustenance is his father's property. It's ok. But, this matter should be handled by the Ojukwu family. No need to go to court and waste resources. Chief Ojukwu should know that he has other siblings and he should find a way to accomodate them. Failure to do so will tear the family apart. On the other hand, responding to his greedy instinct will equally tear the family apart.

The way things are going, I don't think that Chief Ojukwu is the best man to handle Ojukwu transport business. He will mismanage it. His motive is not borne out of altruism, but greed. He has an aura of greed around him. The business should be put in trust for the family. Some percentage of the proceeds from the business should be shared between Ojukwu family members according to their agreed ratio.

If they fails to reach an amicable settlement, everyone will lose out in the end.

Finally, it's rather embarrassing that Chief Ojukwu is scrambling for their family's wealth. Isn't he ashamed of himself?

Car TalkRe: My Pugs Journey From Enugu To Uyo On Sunday 18th Nov 2012 (Update) by ACM10: 9:04am On Nov 24, 2012
rhymz: I am not sure what this is about but it looks more like an EGO ride.
I have been to Akwa Ibom and Enugu, by far, Enugu is more cosmopolitan and have better inner access roads and structures than Akwa ibom.
It appears the intent of this thread besides the Ego ride is to praise AK by making Enugu especially look bad. I am not from either of the states but if I were to settle anywhere in the east, it will definitely be Enugu not AK. I was hoping to see some realy bad roads in the inner suburbs only for you to take pictures of federal roads and rural roads on the outskirts and compare them with inner town roads in AK.

It is all too familiar to not notice the bias. If your intent was to compare the level of developments in these states, then do it with objectivity and equality, don't compare apples with oranges.
Try again next time. AK is cool though.
Thank you jare! I thought that I am the only one who noticed the OP's bias. How can he take the picture of Enugu-PH expressway(which is a federal road) and use it to discredit Enugu? Besides, the road is at the outskirt of the Enugu. I challenge the OP to post the picture of any bad road in Enugu capital?
I implore the OP to follow the developments in Enugu, including the roads and other infrastructure on this thread,
www.nairaland.com/979128/enugu-pride-east
I invite anyone who has doubt to visit Enugu and AK and compare the two. Then come to this thread to pass your judgement.

I hear say na Dora Akunyili own Solid FM, while Ike Ekweremadu owns Dream FM. I love the two FM's especially the Dream FM. I can get the station from Bayelsa and Edo state. Another thing I like about them is that they promotes Igbo language, especially the Igbo slangs that are popular with the youths like "Nna men", "pinopino nwa", "gbawa door", etc. Besides, Dream FM broadcasts for 24 hours of the day.

Raypower FM is starting to pack up. They might be forced to close their eastern substation in no distant time if the advertising revenue continues to fall at the present rate. They are off air most times these days. Yoruba no fit compete with Okoro. grin

afam4eva: What language may that be?

I know that Otondo in Igbo is a MUMU person.
I don't think that "otondo" is originally an Igbo word. But was introduced in the 90s by Igbo youths to describe someone who acts like a m0r0n. I'm not so sure of its origin.

There are some recorded live cases of this occurrence..some are detected early enough and others later in life. The fetus can be removed by surgical operation.
I completely agree with you.

Can foetus get pregnant? undecided I guess you should take your own advice. Google is your best friend.
HealthRe: Pregnant Baby Girl Born In Saudi Arabia by ACM10: 5:12pm On Nov 23, 2012
ayobase: Based on my research, this can happen when a pregnant woman is still indulging in s.e..x. The man might be doing two at a time!
.
Seriously,,,,this is very odd!
Im sure its not a foetus, but one of those biological anomalies!
The bolded is impossible! The unborn baby is covered with a sac and completely separated from her mother. The only contact with the outside world is through diffusion @ the placenta. Sper.m can never find its way to fertilize the unborn baby's ova.

Besides, when does a girl start shedding a mature ovary?

If you factor all this events, you will know that media sensationalized this medically impossible news.
PoliticsRe: Sign Petition To Invite GEJ To Hardtalk by ACM10: 4:54pm On Nov 23, 2012
Signing this petition is tantamount to surrendering our sovereignty to foreign power. For God's sake, this petition is not going to sway the president even if it garners enough signatures. No one puts himself in a position of compromise with the media. This is why politicians mostly grants interview to friendly media outlets. How many interviews had Obama granted to Foxnews?

BBC is partly funded with British taxpayers money just like NTA. The only difference is that BBC enjoys a greater autonomy. That's why it can criticize its government. Just like it did to Tony Blair after the Iraqi invasion by accusing him of "sexing-up" evidence. Nevertheless, it is still a foreign press and a mouthpiece of British government. The same role which NTA plays for the Nigerian government.

Nigerian citizens lack internal pride that they can readily invite foreign elements to meddle in our internal affairs. This is another reason why this entity called Nigeria should dissolve. Can you imagine Americans signing a petition for Obama to be interviewed by the BBC?

This idea of signing up a petition to force our president to be interviewed by a foreign and presumably hostile media is moronic and dead on arrival. What a terrible waste of effort and energy!

spyder880: There is no need for us to be blowing hot air around. This thread was opened with utmost innocence, driven by a desire to promote a city withing Igboland so that other Igbo people can look at it and be proud of it, as "our own"

I have never looked down on my brothers from other Igbo states as I share great friendships with great individuals from all Igbo states and beyond. I still respect everybody, despite our different feelings (hence we are human).

I should think Anambra people are supposed to be most propud of Enugu, why? Because they built it! Go to every great investment happening in Enugu and you will see an Anambra man as part of it. Beautiful houses in Independence layout, New Haven and Trans Ekulu were mostly built and owned by Anambra people. Imo, Ebonyi and Abia people also own good businesses here, so we should all be proud of the town.

I urge all warring parties to sheath their swords as there is no need for all the heat. In my attempt to be just and fair (in my human limitations, as I cannot claim to be a saint), I have opened threads to promote other Igbo states according to what I think they are best at. I did a thread on Onitsha, and even Owerri, and supported Achi4u when he opened a thread on Abakaliki, but I abandoned the idea when it started to look like my aim/mission did not recieve the type of feedback I hoped for.

Odenigbo Aroli, Bandit.C and other brothers should please calm down and allow peace to reign. We share a common identity, and should not allow trivialities to constitute a hitch to our brotherly love.

I also urge other Igbo people to start threads to promote our towns and states for the sake of update of information on developments and promotion of tourism.

It shall be well with Alaigbo!!!

Since they gave RDM only one year contract, they should have waited for his contract to elapse before giving him a boot. Abrahamovich is not so smart afterall. I thought that he is an astute businessman. Now that they terminated his contract abruptly, they will pay him his severance package.
I don't know why Chelsea is so impatient with their managers. Sometimes, there will be a dip in the team performance. You just have to exercise patience and hope for a better day. Chelsea should learn from Arsenal. It's evident from the outset that RDM is not so popular among Chelsea board of directors. The man should simply rest for a year and enjoy his goodies.
