I was looking at the extra fur around the foot and the head which suggest a relationship with the poodle. For me its more on the hair and size of that dog as a puppy. That dog has poodle blood running in it, i can see it.

From my Google search, i didn't see much resemblance to Terrier but Lhasa Apso specifically Lhasa Apso poodle mix. See the puppy in first picture.

I wasn't wrong after all, It is failures that base their happiness/pride on frivolous things like a man from their tribe being President.
The problem with you is that you attribute my happiness/pride to having ones own as president. Once again, when you talk politics you dont refer to personality. I am neither Igbo nor Hausa nor Yoruba, why will i be happy for a tribe producing a president? As a matter of fact i believe an Igbo will make a very bad president. As a citizen of Nigeria, i believe in federal character that the position is some how rotated to have a sense of participation by all. In spite of the fact that i dont believe in an igbo presidency i cant oppose it because its their (your tribe's) right. If igbo does not want fine, let the Hausa and Yoruba have a field day.

My happiness or pride on comes from government achievements not which tribe the president comes from. Thats not my business. My business is that government should work for me.

So you have no other ambition/target in life other than when an Igbo man becomes President? No one or tribe has ever become President in Nigeria by these your calculations/alliances, go figure.
Get on with your life/ ambitions. It is only failures that have their happiness centered around when one from the tribe becomes President, something that wouldn't even benefit you personally.
What are you talking about, me?

Last time i checked this thread you are commenting is in the politics section. WTF do you want me to discuss, my life ambitions or what will benefit me. Is anything in this section going to personally benefit you or anyone of us? If you have no contribution or opinion move on to romance or jokes section. Am sure you will have some entertainment there. SMH

Your moniker sounds Igbo and if am right you sound offended that Igbo has no chance to rule this country for at least 28yrs by the current political scheme of things. Not forgetting that your tribe (assumed) has been in relegation for 49 out of 55 yrs of Nigeria's independence and will probably remain the same for at least 28 more years. Imagine the 3rd largest tribe in Nigeria out of power for 77yrs! WAKE UP IGBO'S!

I encourage you to lead a wakeup call for your tribe.

@Akpaife, explain why you have fish brain?

@ the post,

The Igbos are known to be very smart, industrious and intelligent. It is therefore unbelievable to see this same set of people always found wanting when it comes to playing high-tech politics of Nigeria. Personally I see it as an indication of a people who do not trust one another.

Apart from political appointments which at best benefit the appointees, there is very little the Igbos have gained from Jonathan presidency especially in the area of infrastructural development.

At the rate the political game of Nigeria is being played, the Igbos may not be able to produce a president till 2027 at the earliest (and that is if GEJ succeeds in rigging his way in this 2015 election) because most likely the North will produce a president from 2019 till 2027. They had the opportunity to speak in one voice and align with APC during the merger of the main opposition parties and negotiate for the VP slot so that they'll have a chance immediately after GMB's presidency but their naivety beclouded their judgment.

It is even possible that the Igbos will not produce a president in another 50 years if they play their politics of bitterness forgetting that you need alliance and sacrifices to win elections. This is what Okorocha understands and it is what the many other Igbo leaders fail to understand.
You said what i have been reiterating all the while and no Igbo wants to listen to that. They have mortgaged their future for no particular benefit to their region.

Assuming GEJ wins like you said, he will be there till 2019 then the North will have it till 2027. At this point Since SW is in alliance with the North they have a better chance to clinch the ticket in 2027 which may last till 2035. Assuming a North to south and back to north arrangement, the north gets 2035 to 2043 thats when Igbo will be in serious contention. Mark it 2043 and thats 28 years from now.

Assuming Buhari wins, he exits in 2023 and definitely hands over to south west. SW exits in 2031 and then SE should have the chance. But because they have failed in having an alliance with the Hausa or Yoruba, they may be robbed yet again and power comes back to the north till 2039. Thats yet another opportunity which the Yoruba in alliance with the North take it off the Igbo leaving them obviously out of contention.

The Igbo stand a better chance with APC. Lest i forget, people like Ameachi if God wills, could be rewarded in 2031, in that case Igbo may not smell that office till about 2051! No amount of protest will get them that seat till they form an alliance which they are currently not to willing to. Donot forget that the last Igbo president in Nigeria was Aguiyi Ironsi way back in 1966

This is a very horrible and biased request that the peoples general will never accept. The group is obviously a GEJ support group planing a what is supposed to be a neutral debate, but simply just impossible. The morale behind their offer is in very bad faith. It is a bait or meant to be a smear campaign. How can a group based in Yenagoa the home of GEJ sponsor a neutral debate? There is almost nothing PDP will stop at.

If Buhari accepts, they skew the debate in favour of their paymaster, if he rejects they make noise that once again he has refused all efforts to have him debate with their paymaster making Buhari a villain. Do they think Buhari is as dumb as their paymaster or his supporters? SMH

Well that is a trip do I twice almost every weekend for the past two years with the same car. I should know.Though my fuel gauge never gets to the full mark ( I spent some money on this and it didn't rectify so I let it be)so I thought that was where the error lay, but nothing beats filling up and driving to your destination and filling up again. What plugs and oil are you running on yours?
I am running NGK plugs IZFR6K-13 or so with milemaster 5w20. I know plugs contribute alot to good or bad mileage same as air filter. I hope you are not judging you fuel consumption by your gauge? The correct way to know how much you have used is to refill at the same pump in the last fill up station. Also when the pump clicks you stop and use the same next time. These is a control measure to remove some sources of errors like leveling of using different filling stations or their pump delivery accuracy.

I drive a 2005 Honda Accord I4 and am not a bit impressed with MPG. A journey of 300km sets me back by at least 40ltrs. Weda I do 140kmh or 100kmh, Ac or no Ac. My friends 2004 Honda Accord does less than 30ltrs over same distance and drive conditions. I maintain factory recommended tyres and pressure, recommended engine oil, changed oxygen sensor, air filter, spark plugs, maintain right coolant. I dont know what else to do again o. Although I get P0420 on and off. It might come on in one drive cycle and go off in another, might not come up again for 3 days or more and then pop up and refuse to go till I clear it with a scan tool
In my opinion, you exagerated a little. 7.5KM/L or 17.64mpg is too bad for a Honda accord I4. Your friends 23.52mpg is more like it for a 03-5 accord I4. Factory specs say 24mpg city and 32mpg highway.

My only thought is can it be that bad like yours even with a fault. Unless there is a hole in the gas tank. P0420 will cause bad mileage but not as bad as you have.

My problem with folks like you is that despite your level of intelligence you still don't follow up issues analytically and see the end game but you're always blinded by your peephole approach to issues that requires a no miscalculation approach

If you were in the Northern think tank group would you risk a 'Buhari' with the understanding that
1) Jonathan might likely win and of course, he will screw you guys nicely if he wins.....dem dun show am pepper
2) If Buhari wins he would serve as puppet to Tinubu and his strange bed fellows who are over ambitious ?

Look at it from a different point of view considering the North's clamour for power to return back to them ,you'll notice that the north would support Jonathan if they have a watertight arrangement with Jonathan which shouldn't be a problem for Jonathan. After all he's got nothing to lose after 2019.
At this point in our politics no region would want to field an old General in the camp of Tinubu who they can't control to an extent especially with the too many hawks from the South East and South South who won't waste their time in abandoning ship once it is obvious that the ship is sinking .

Buhari is just an unfortunate man ,honestly the odds against him are too many .
Think bro.
i am replying you for the part that imade bolder.

I wish to ask you, do you live in the north or have you been there recently and spent some time? You will understand that Jonathan has nothing to offer an average northerner in their perception. From the moment GEJ denied promising to run one time, they gave up on him. That was the beginning of GEJ's problems and thats all about it.

Do you know why the north east dont like GEJ, an average north easterner believes GEJ is responsible for BH hence the death of their brothers and sisters in the hands of the terrorist group. Until that notion is deleted from their minds, then GEJ may hv a chance with them. Do you know why its impossible for GEJ to win their hearts? They believe that he is sponsoring BH so can end it anytime with the military, so the success the military has now is seen as a desperate move by GEJ. They dont trust him still. He acted too late.

If you are in the north right now, you will know that there is nothing GEJ can do now, he is out of presidency unless the votes of the entire north does not count.

See it this way, the only region that GEJ has highest support of up to 80% is the SS and SE which have the least eligible voters. Both of them are not even upt to Buharis stronghold of NW not to talk of SW or NE. I just waiting to see the miracle GEJ will perform.
Politics › Re: Northern Leaders Lobby Jonathan For 2019 by adanny01(m): 12:18am On Mar 02, 2015
Eluwilussit:
All I said is very simple. If we are running a rotational presidency, Goodluck should be allowed to finish his term. Then power should return to the North for 8 years. After which it should go to the SE. Do you need any political alignment to achieve this? All it takes is equity.

If it were not on rotational bases, then 2 & 3 will come back to bite the SE.

Don't forget that most of SE is PDP, at the national level. The SE voted for Obasanjo in 99 & 03. They voted massively for Yar'Adua as well. Then Jonathan's scenario came along, and they have supported him. Can you tell me how the SE has not been fair and patient to every region so far?

Buhari has never had a fair chance until Tinubu magically convinced most of the West to go along with him, due to his personal ambitions. I hope the North could see the insincerity of Tinubu and his followers. What Tinubu is doing for the SW is politically-savvy. But it might lead to the disenchantment of the SS and may create the type of unrest we are presently facing in the NE. Is that what we need?

I have stated in a lot of my past posts while I can't support Buhari;so I don't wanna over-flog the issues.

I personally don't support rotational presidency and have said so in the past. We all know why it was put in place in the first place, so if we destroy it, we go back to the basis. If that plays out, surely the SW will come out top and credit to Tinubu, but not to nigerians. What we need is a true democracy. Not pandering to the yearnings of a section of the country. As it is today, we have two men that are no where close to the best vying for the top job. Same scenario that has played out since 1999.

Buhari has literally prevented the North from showcasing itself in the past 3 elections or so. He's sitting on the North behemoth-ly. He needs to step aside and let the North breathe freely.
From the first line, you are very wrong because you the voter decides if he should return or not and that should be done considering his achievements and failures not where he comes from. Rotation of presidency is not in the constitution. So postulating that power should go to the SS for 8 years then North for another 8 years and so on is very wrong. What you are saying is that if we have a thief as a president we must endure him for 8 years because thats his turn and nothing can be done about him. Thats very wrong. No equity can make that happen, only a constitutional amendment can guarantee that and that will never happen because it can not be allowed.

I will restate again, i dont blame Tinubu for his success but blame GEJ for his failures which automatically meant success for Tinubu. So dont blame Tinubu, GEJ miscalculated, its just politics and Jonathan f...ed up big time. He is paying the consequence and has not even learnt from it.

Do you think Atiku or Kwankwasau had the chance to offer the kind of opposition Buhari has given? APC had primaries, Buhari won fair and square, why do you want him to step aside? He is pulling the weight, why do you want him out. Would the others have done better than him. I dont thing you have an argument. You wont suport Buhari, fine, but you have to accept that Buhari is the best the north has to offer to regain their mandate in 2015. 2019 is a matter for another day, for now Buhari is the best to fight GEJ, dont be bitter that he is making it big.

Like i said before, i agree with you that Igbo for now are out of the plan for atleast 12years. I think its even worst if Buhari wins. They will have a chance after 16 years thats if they retrace their steps.
Politics › Re: Northern Leaders Lobby Jonathan For 2019 by adanny01(m):

Jokes apart, I have never thought that the igbos were supporting jonathan because they were expecting him to hand over to an igbo man. Every right think nigerian, knows that after jona, power should go back to the North. So in 12 years time, it should automatically go from North to SE all things being equal.

The igbos are very rational and fair minded people. They know that it is impossible for Jona to hand power to an igbo man, as that will amount to usurpation of power and northern opportunity.

So let Jona do his thing. After, the North will take over. I have said it before that Buhari's ambitions don't represent the North.
The only thing i agree with you is what Igbo has done to themselves. They have aligned themselves with those who can never ever help them get their own to power. The polulation of SE and SS put together is not up to that of NW or SW. Without aligning to one of these the SE remains out of the presidential race until such a time when a Goodluck scenerio will help them.

Those Igbos who dream that GEJ will hand over to them need to wake up ASAP.

On Buhari, 3 things are working well for the General. 1, he has had cult like followership in the north 2, GEJs disappointing governance, insecurity, corruption, failed promises and lack of will to fight for the people has lost him alot of objective supporters like me 3, GEJ accumulated alot of disgruntled PDP bigwigs and their supporters who have no option than to pitch tent with the opposition hence GMB

2 and 3 is what has changed that GMB now has a chance. While alot of GEJ supporters remain positive for success, they know failure is inevitable unless unconstitutional means is used. So many hate Hausa to the extent they entertain unconstitutional means to their end leading the country to impunity with no remorse or conscience for the rule of law. Is it good for our society? NO

I considered both cars when i was making a choice but settled for Honda because i prefered Auto transmission which is not a good idea with the 406.

Any project in the power sector is Obj's achievement. If am not mis taken, this project was awarded in 2003 or 04. Dont even say it was abandoned because that will be ignorance. When awarded, power project takes years to even show up in site and by the time work starts on site the contract sum is spent up to atleast 70%. Engineering or design takes 10%, procurement 60-70% and lastly construction 20-30. GEJ inherited that project at construction stage meaning the project was at atleast 80%.

I wont close without saying that GEJ has not awarded one single project in the power sector neither has he done anithing to improve it.

One thing am sure of is that, this project may not been fully completed but just for the government to show off by commisioning. You will be surprised if it shuts down just after they turn their backs or less than a day and will never have a positive input into the grid because of either lack of gas or transmission line to evacuate the power generated.

We know how they do it.
