In Hausa i know it as 'Tozali' or something like that. Its a black powder used on eye lashes. Like it has been suggested the op can try pulling off the cap that will come out with a long tip for applying to the eyes. Its no longer vogue with the lots of things that have taken over. It is used on little babies with the believe that it clears their eyes. |
expertfingers:1. My assumption. Besides he spent 2 days in Suleja, so he definitely sleeps somewhere. 2. Remember that he mentioned he has used 5 pairs of shoes all which are bought for him in the towns he got to by people who wanted to contribute to his success, i believe a hotel or a private residence wont be a hard thing. 3. Am not sure there is any stretch of road in Nigeria where you can walk up to 12 hrs without getting to a town or at least a cluster of homes. The desert parts of Nigeria maybe but he didnt pass there. 4. Have you heard of wash and wear before? 5. He rested 2 whole days in Suleja and with adequate hospitality. Remember APC in Niger state dropped their contact number and he was said to have met Etsu Nupe in Bida and another Chief in Suleja. I believe the time frame was even too long, he would have been faster if he didn't take a lot of time resting in several places. |
I dont think he followed the route shown on the map by OP. He passed through Suleja so he definitely didnt pass through Lokoja but came through Minna and probably Kwara. The most probable route is Lagos - Ibadan - Ogbomosho - Ilorin - Jebba - Mokwa - Bida - Madalla - Abuja which is 737km by car at 75km/hr average. Assuming a human walks 5km/hr, it will take 147.4 hours. Of course a human cant walk all that hours without stopping or resting. Assuming he rested at night and walked 6am to 6pm which is 12 hours, he will take at least 12.3 days to get to Abuja. I heard he spent 2 days in Suleja due to blisters on his feet. A friend told me he personally saw him approaching Suleja on Saturday. So he probably traveled about 15days including the two days he rested in Suleja minus calculative errors due to his walking speed, route start/stop times and days he may have rested in other places.

I saw the massive crowd following him on Kubwa express. People hurriedly park cars to go give him some rosy welcome. |
Chukwugekwu:Better he than GEJ |
chymystique:Ohanaeze should hire you as their spokes person. |
ducii:This is shameful. After you disown your father you tell him how he is going to share the inheritance! These people cant humble themselves to respect the choice majority of Nigerians made? |
whyteone:I am ashamed that a Nigerian will talk this way. I ask you this simple question. Did you vote on the March 28th or not? If you didn't, i did. I voted for Buhari, other Nigerians did and he had the highest votes to win. I voted, Nigerians voted , it was not a cabal that voted. If thats what obviously happens in the SS and SE thats not what happened in my state or most parts of the north. 15.4million Nigerians against 12.8million voted GEJ out and you still cannot bring yourself out to believe it happened, thats why you are blaming a CABAL that is a mirage. |
theorbiters:I have frantically tried to make sense of your post but couldn't. How or what is wrong in APC consolidating, PDP did same. Note the bolded part. PDP tried to make it that way but later failed due to an implosion within it. APC is a party that won this recent elections, what do you expect, they should plan to lose every other election because they have won the presidential elections. Capturing states and House of assemblies is no longer important for APC because they won presidential abi? How can you say they are trying to make Nigeria their own country? Are you expecting them to celebrate SE and SS that didnt vote for them? Is it APC's fault that there is no single SE APC returning Senator or HOR member that could be appointed Senate President or Speaker HOR? What is it that APC is doing now that PDP has not done before. The appointment rule of the national assembly was created by PDP and its now working against the SE. Hear you "now APC is doing everything to make sure they win in every major hold if not everywhere in this nation". So you dont want APC to win any other election or campaign to win, infact they should deregister the party to make you happy, abi? Your entire post sounds like that of a bitter loser. Bad belle they call it in Pidgin English. |
Franzeez:My last comment. I am not sure you are of sound mind, so i will drop this. |
Franzeez:Hear urself. Can a General be retardd? When you say such things we know who is retardd between you 2. |
Franzeez:My former comment still stands. |
Franzeez:First of all, names like you proposed don't stick when one is actually not what the name implies. No matter how you push those names forward it wont stick. If someone is a genius no matter how you call him a fool, it wont mean a thing and the name will never stick. Remember that Jon_daft didn't just come out of the blue, Jonathan had to actually act daft for the name to stick. When Jonathan who was supposed to be the peoples president admitted that there was a cabal in the petroleum subsidy scheme, instead of arresting the cabal he stopped government from paying subsidy. Does that disband the cabal? NO. Who will now pay the cabal? Nigerians. Was Jonathan daft to have done opposite what Nigerians voted him for? Yes. So the name Jo_adaft stuck on him. CLUELESS: By Jonathan's comment that “Over 70 percent of what are called corruption, even by EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) and other anti-corruption agencies is not corruption, but common stealing. Corruption is perception, not reality,”. The name Clueless stuck on him like flies around poo. Wait for Buhari to disappoint us, then you call him an appropriate name that will stick. Meanwhile, go hug transformer, am sure Jonathan didnt provide electricity. |
Plus10:In a race, when you see one contestant running nd the other walking, something is definitely up. In Imo, two candidates are running head to head meaning it was a fair race for both. |
justirich:In my state Kaduna, where the incumbent is an absolute non performing and coincidental governor managed to poll 400k votes even with the vice presidents support. In Akwa Ibom when all big wigs of the state including the former governor Attah ganged up against the PDP but to get less than 10%! Right from the Presidential elections results i wanted to write something like this, but being a Northerner, the kind of insults i will take was beyond the time i would spend replying so i gave up. Thank God for you. |
helpee:Did Fayose awknowledge the impeachment or not? Why would a sitting governor present budget to a group of 7 lawmakers that cannot even form a quorum apart from the fact that they need 16 to pass the budget? Is the governor that daft or what? Was Fayose there when a Judge in his court was beaten or not? They will never need to win their colleagues as long as they can always form a quorum of 8 and subsequently 2thirds of 16. They dont ever need the others, the others are free to join them or go hug transformer. It is my view that only citizens and especially stakeholders of the state can call this governor to order which they seem to have failed by supporting him in his impunity streak. Let me break it down to you. Passing the budget or commissioners is the perogative duty of house members and no other as long as it is supported 2thirds majority. Thats the law. On the other side, a governor is clearly wrong and inspiring impunity if he admits impeachment by 7 of 26 members and presenting budget and commissioners list to the 7. By law, those commissioners are not appointed while the government is running without budget as long as it was not passed by 2thirds of 26 members. Anything outside this basic law is impunity as inspired by Fayose and supported by PDP and and some ekiti ppl. |
helpee:What part of what they did is illegal? What they did does not justify why Fayose should resort to impunity. If you forgot just resently how GEJ lobbied aggressiely to have Obanikoro appointed as minister or how the 2015 budget was passed and many others. Do you know that the 2015 budget has caused alot of my friends and colleagues to lose their jobs because the budget cannot be funded so it is fucussed on recurrent expenditure and almost nothing on capital? Did GEJ resort to impunity to make the budget pass? Wasnt it what almost happened in Edo state? Has Oshiomhole resorted to impunity? There are 2 ways to work with an uncooperative group, either diplomatically or with impunity against the law. Impunity is what Fayose has opted for and i hope he is removed even if that same method will be used on him. Where are your moral values if you encaurage impunity? |
IAmTobore:Guy. Bigotry? Do you know what bigotry means? Ekiti is not my state neither am I yoruba. I have no connection whatsoever with Ekiti people, how can i be a bigot in this context. For Fayose to carry out several cases of impunity is the reason i support the APC house to impeach him. Besides, if they succeed it will still be a PDP government via the present deputy governor. I am not against PDP here but against Fayose. |
IAmTobore:The next thing i ask is are you Fayose's suppporter? If you know that its not possible why should you do you support impunity by Fayose. If people like fayose carry out impunity in the name of politics, they need to be shown the way out. The question you asked me is an obvious one, Fayose is reigning with impunity. |
Olofintoto:There is no impeachment notice for the deputy governor. Dont assume. The deputy will assume governor if governor is eventually impeached. |
IAmTobore:I want to get you correct. Do you think its possible for 7 members out of 26 to actually impeached the speaker were minimum onethird quorum is 8 and the minimum twothirds votes required to impeach is 16? |
ilovecritics:The next gov will be fayose's deputy who is still PDP. |
haleeberry:If you knew who Yero is you will not be saying this trash. Forget when the Bible says there is no lesser sin or sinner. El rufai is far a lesser sinner than Yero. Elrufai is not a saint neither was Buhari, they are both a far better choice than their incumbents. Let me tell my view as a professional in real estate and and a sincere Nigerian. El rufai only dealth with the corruption in relevant departments that gave building permits in Abj. Forget those you see innocently crying during those demolitions, there was nothing right about their buildings, they cry only for their misplaced investment that is about to go down the drain either because they constructed illegaly or constructed legally but paid bribe to get that permission against the law and the Abj master plan. They are at fault in anyway you look at it. Do you know what? The rate at which Abj master plan has been abused now, if el rufai were to come back again, worst will be done to sanitize it. |
Chidozieude:Have you ever been to Southern Kaduna. You shouldnt talk about what you dont know. There are strictly muslim communities plus that so many of us Christians were fed up with PDP. The entire north has conducted far more credible elections compared to the total hijack of the electoral process in south east and south south. Look at what happened in Akwa Ibom and Rivers yesterday for example. Northerners are more civil than you guys aside from religious fanatism. |
I experienced that problem twice on my 03 accord. The second incidence was only yesterday some minutes after i arrived my office. The engine was already hot after driving 30km to work so the usual morning/cold rpm of above 1000rpm doesnot apply. After starting the car, the engine revved up to about 2000 rpm and back to the 800rpm and back to 2000 each time not staying there but just alternating. I stopped the engine and started again this time it was steady at 800rpm. I was confused as that is the second time it happened like that. There is no check engine light too. |
olatunji21:Right |
comos:They have until May 29th |
What about the Abdulsalami Abubakar committee? If ministers had to kneel before the President and beg him to concede, that means he did unwillingly. Can he now be called a hero? |
Herald47:The funny thing about you is that deep inside you, it hurts that the election didnt go your way. If you continue to see the northerner as your opponent that does not help our dear country. I am a Christian northerner who voted for GEJ in 2011. I refused to vote him this time around not because he is from SS but because his leadership was below par. I voted Buhari not because i am sure he can bring change, i did because i am hopeful that he will be better than GEJ. For you, you have no hope in Buhari and am sure you wish he fails so you will tell the Northerners and westerners how they made a mistake. It is unfortunate that the same you who 'didn't believe he can bring the change' is expecting him to convince you. It is me who vote for him that needs to be convinced that i made the right choice. However, we are all Nigerians and Buhari will be a president for Nigerians not the North and West alone. The only difference is that while the North and West will captain the plane called Nigeria, the SS and SE will be passengers on the ride who needs no convincing. If they dont like it, they can jump out at 30,000feet. Thats the bitter truth. |
Herald47:Calling me immature will not change any fact. My reasoning is based on facts. Even before the elections, i did a fact check by myself and i was sure Buhari was going to win. I only wondered why 95% of easterners either didn't check the facts or were simply blinded by ethnicity to see what was about to befall their allegiance. Now that they have no single returning senator or house of reps APC members to be considered for Senate president or speaker HOR is a fact that has nothing to do with my maturity. Have you heard of the adage that says 'monkey dey work baboon dey chop'. How can some one who refuses to work demand for food. What ever happens to the east is their own doing and their cross to carry. Call me immature from now till 2019 will not change a thing. Instead of name calling, next time just state your counter opinion. Thats how to act maturely, you seem to be more immature than me. |
GAZZUZZ:So what do you imply? |
seunlayi:It concerns you and me as Nigerians. No matter how bad she was we wish her full health. |
