Donian007: Now read me, you maliciously maligning sleemy sneaky slimmy ignorant. I didn't make that post for you to suck out, raising divergent and deluded insinuations. I challenge you to directly address that post with a rebuttal, point out any lies or misgivings in it, and not play hide and seek, I have told the truth, let us practice what we preach. These politicians must stop decieving themselves, everyone must make sure that whenever they set out to decieve the people, those who know the truth speak out so they only end up decieving themselves. Rivers peoples are no longer fooled.
1st of all, name calling is not my thing, no need whatsoever for it.

2nd, i read and understood your post as and outsider unknown to Rivers politics. I cannot write a rebuttal on matters i know nothing of. The big picture is what Nigerians like me outside of Rivers see.

3rd, i didnt say your are lying. As a matter of fact, i appreciated your exposure on the caliber of politicians Rivers has. Truth is, you cannot do anything abou it.

I wish that you will desire a leader who will develop the state

Donian007: Listen ya'll, I am a real Kalabari man, full Rivers man but not a PortHarcourt boy. That said, was it not Peter Odili, Chibuike Amaechi, Tonye Harry, Abiye Sekibo and co that sponsored cult groups that turned Rivers State upside down? Up till date THE TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION COMMITTEE that was headed by Justice Kayode Eso, and members such as Most Revd. I. C. O. Kattey can not tell us who did what. Marshal Harry's death is still a mystery. Omehia came and when he wanted to make peace Amaechi, Wike and co conspired to remove him, they succeeded, then Amaechi started pursuing Ateke Tom because he was going to expose him. And Today God is working his purpose out and some body(Amaechi) is looking for sympathy. MOST OF YOU POSTING HERE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT RIVERS STATE, ITS THE PAST HUNTING THE EVIL ONE AND THEY ARE SEEKING REFUGE IN THE DEVIL'S ARMS. Most assembly members, LGA chairmen, councillors, state reps and senators were never elected but handpicked, their elections were arranged by the Governor, and so we arrived at a RUBBER-STAMP STATE ASSEMBLY, IMPUNITY and AUTHORITARIANSM, anyone who says, ".....NO UR EXCELLENCY BUT"..... Is suspended, sacked and witch-hunted. Kasidi Ikegbidi, the chairman of Ahoada was indicted in 2011 for corruption but the state assembly did nothing rather their biase was revealed when they unconstitionally sacked Timothy Nsirim on the orders of Amaechi who himself has been known to be directly, personally and unconstitutionally suspending LGA chairmen. Wards traditional Chiefs in Obio Akpor have warned Amaechi's Caretaker Chairman Chikeordi who is planning a "town hall meeting" to stay clear their villages else would be held responsible for whatever befalls him, insisting they never elected him and so does not recognise him. Rivers People are grateful to Amaechi for the little development he has brought but before even thinking of forgiving and forgetting his past against them he is once more opening old wounds by conspiring the downfall of one their own(GEJ) in the name of ambition, rights and a voice which himself(Amaechi) is not letting his people have.
By implication of what you are saying, GEJ shoud have known better not venture to use of Presidential powers to unseat Ameachi.

Whether Ameachi is a cultist, militant or member of the dreaded BH, he is in the eyes of Nigerians (excluding Rivers) a performing Governor which you admit. That GEJ is against him and making Rivers ungovernable, means GEJ is against the people of Rivers and doesnot want progress for the state.

You should be the person carrying arms to fight the President. If i know right, the Rivers people have benefitted more from Ameachi than they will ever get from GEJ. He should be riding on your back with his ambition and getting all the possibe support from Rivers.

You, together with you master Jona, think the state or south south is the key to his success in 2015. Well, it is just disappointing that he is strugling to win popularity at home, while 5 other geopolitical zones and up for grasp. If he had played cool, Ameachi would still have been a nobody and his chances better.

Feel free to lecture me, but Nigeria has taken more steps backword than forword under Jona. Those who support him are doing so for either selfish, ethnic or religious reasons which is unpatriotic.

Forget Ameachi. Its all about the Presidency which is a dream for Ameachi and farfetch for Jona.

Both are losers!

baconline: Ensure door is open.
. Disconnect the negative battery cable, wait minimum
of 5 minutes, then reconnect.
Within 20 seconds of reconnecting the battery cable,
insert the key in the ignition, then
ycle the ignition key from the "ACC" position to the
"ON" position 20 times - leaving the
key in the "OFF" position after the 20th turn.
The vehicle's indicators will flash 20 times to indicate
successful entry. Should the
indicators fail to flash, wait 5 seconds then quickly
turn the ignition switch from the
"ACC" position to the "ON" position 10 times -
leaving the key in the "OFF" position
after the 10th turn. Wait 15 seconds, then recycle the
ignition switch 20 times.
The vehicle's indicators will flash 20 times to indicate
successful entry.
On the 20th flash of the indicators, press the button
once on each transmitter.
8. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position to lock in
and exit from the programming mode.
Good luck chao!!!
Am sorry for not replying earlier.

I tried so many times but no response from the car. I didnt try another time because if i remove battery wire, it resets my engine idling settings which will require me to leave engine on idle for almost 20mins to set idle with ac and without ac. Thats some fuel.

I have given up.
Car Talk › Re: Toyota Matrix(manual): Car Vibrates Heavily On Biting/catching Point. by adanny01(m): 1:18pm On Jul 25, 2013
Edunwa302: Yeah most likely but also do a proper check on the engine sittings
In my experience, cut engine mount causes a hard jerk depending on which of the anti-vibration mount is cut. The feel is different if a front or rear mount is cut. The rear affects reverse and front mount affects forword movement. Non of them causes vibration during taking off.

My dads car is a manual drive which has a cut front mount as i write. No vibration at all during take off but a hard thud during movement arising from deccelerating. You could visualize the gear stick moving during thud.

My car is a manual drive which i have changed pressure plate n clutch plate twice this year. I know how it feels before and after change. Before my 1st change the vibration was bad especially after driving a while. When cold the car feels better but worst as temperature climbs.

However, i expect op to check the engine mounts and brake binding before attempting to change pressure/clutch plate. Brake binding if present can make the clutch seem worst than it is.
Car Talk › Re: Toyota Matrix(manual): Car Vibrates Heavily On Biting/catching Point. by adanny01(m):
Am 100% sure that the vibration is related to clutch pressure plate and disc. Have them replaced with original replacement parts.

I had the same problem before my clutch plate fibre burnt out. After replacing both, the vibration disappeared. I used to have that problem with my 1st car '86 honda accord before i sold it.

TV/Movies › Re: Which Is Your Worst Nigerian TV Station? by adanny01(m): 3:51pm On Jul 18, 2013
NTA and all its subsidiary stations are the worst Tv stations in the world.

!st reason i hate it is because of lack of volume leveling. The volume in the next report will be 100% higher than the Anchor's volume. You have to lower/increase your volume each time the picture changes from a report to the studio. It means, while watching NTA, remote control must be in your hands at all times or else your little sleeping toddler will wake up from sleep 100times in an hour. I cant watch NTA late at night when everybody is sleeping for this reason.

News is just rubbish. Why the hell will i want to see classroom block commissioning for? Or that of a useless #250,000 borehole, electricity transformer that will break down before the commissioner enters his car. Just an avenue to showcase looting.

No sensible programing.

I wonder if anybody watches the channel before 9pm.

This is by far the longest write up i have successfully read to finish in Nairaland, appreciating every word used in the process.

I like also, the excellent conclusion.

I have the understanding that people like Wike whom Amaechi promoted 'went to the city and came back only to disappoint his village girlfriend who funded his trip to the city'.

At the end, there is no gain for the state, only losses.

All Ameachi has to do is to ride the tide to 2015.

One thing i know very well about Muslims, they are followers and good a it.

With this turn of events, Jona's luck can go either way. It could happen as they are planning it or those leaders may be seen as traitors. This is just a mere attempt to divide the Northern Muslims and i see no likely hood of that succeeding.

They gain nothing and if Yerima becomes Vice President. What possible improvement can Yerima bring to the leadership of GEJ,i say nothing!

I forsee 2015 to be a true test of popularity.

What are u talking about? With no dependents whatsoever. Do you know what the average monthly earning in Lagos is? Its far below that.

The only problem is if she will have to pay rent and if her home is not close to work. Also depends on how sound and fuel efficient her car is.

She should be very comfortable compared to the average situation in Lagos.

chukwudi44: You are here bragging!! If it comes to playing dirty, Amechi's camp will be the looser. The full strenght of the presidential power deployed illegally against him could be devastating
Humans generally sympathizes with the disadvantaged, helpless, weaker and less powerfully people. Nigerians have sympathy for Ameachi because of the power that Jonathan weighs. Everyone knows that Ameachi stands no chance to succeed with this tussle. All he wants is the sympathy of Nigerians and that is what he has been getting. That is Ameachi's success over Jonathan.

Jonathan can continue pursuing Ameachi and loose the support of Nigerians in 2015. The more illegality Jonathan uses in this case, the more illegality he will need to use to win 2015.

Its just a choice for Jona.

Who is trying to tell me that all this things happening around Ameachi is his own doing or that of any other person other than GEJ.

For Ameachi to withstand all the travails facing him and yet not scream for help means a mighty man is trying to crush a thug.

Only the mighty daft Jona will try to crush a thug who has been in the business longer than him. I wonder what Jona dey think!

If i were Jona i would've placed a simple embergo on Ameachi. Just a simple instruction, 'dont touch him'. I would ve used what we used to call '1 blow 7 die'.

If u try so many times to kill a man, and he doesnt die, its either God or the gods of the Rivers are behind that man. As such, i better make a friend of the man.

Please, help me enlighten Jona. He has one life line, CALL A FRIEND (Obj).

Duke007: Gurus in d house, pls help me with this.l drive a Honda Halla.Changed the gear box last year(auto drive).E'thing was fine until 3months ago when l discovered that the D4 is not working properly. When selected, l would have to press the acelerator hard before it moves and when it does it drags on.Again, the D4 light is not showing on d dashboard. However, when engage in d1,d2 and d3,the gear works normally.l ve had the solenoid changed. What could be the problem
This problem may relate to your gear selector cable.

Try shifting the gear selector away from the normal D4 position, that is, move it front and back btw N and D3. See if at any point D4 illuminates. If it does, drive the car with D4 illuminated and see the difference.

If it works fine, the the gear selector needs to be adjusted or replaced.

I still own a 96 accord which does that. If some1 who doesnt know d car well drives, it would sometimes not show D4. When it doesnt show the car will drives very sluggish. Gear changes between gears 2 and 4 only.

To imagine it, try driving a manual car btw gears 2 and 4 only and starting from 0.
