I particularly think that Yaya Bello is the worst Gov in the country and doesn't deserve to be reelected. However, these guys are calling for cancellation of the electoral process. You and I know that it is impossible, even INEC cannot stop themselves without contravening the law, yet this group chose to be dumb by asking for what is not possible.

Wada will have his day in court since thats the law. Isn't this group just a nuisance.

A total of 24 candidates are taking part in the gubernatorial election. Although the registered voters in the state are 1,646,350, about 1,485,828 (90.2 per cent) have collected their PVCs and are thus eligible to vote in the 21 local governments of the state.

My question is, why didn't they call for cancellation of the elections immediately after the elections but had to wait over 24hrs when the results were collated and being announced.

Some Nigerians just don't feel ashamed cos this says that the election didn't go the way they expected it.

Even the USA that is the most advanced country in the world, their last electronic voting was covered in cloud of suspicions. There is no accountability in an electronic voting scenerio and its going to be hard to proof to the loser that he lost in a fair contest.

Kaduna did electronic voting, it was just a public display but the results where still doctored and the loser had no option to contest. Dont be in a hurry to kill our electoral system with electronic voting.

I will only support offline electronic voting.

Funny enough, Oshiomole rarely lost a fight in his professional life. He seems to be talking less now and strategizing more.

I think the game plan would be to factionalize APC and organize two parallel congresses and produce two governorship candidates. One of them would go to court and the PDP candidate would be sworn in as appeal court would say there was no valid candidate in APC during elections. Even though the APC wins, they won't enjoy the victory.

There are apps to do that.

The easiest is using your phone. There is an app, "quick video recorder". Once you tap the app Icon, it beeps and starts recording without showing anything on the screen. You can lock the phone receive calls and do anything while its still recording in the background.

I got a quit notice in September (my rent expired 31-10-2019) and I am supposed to vacate the room and palour self contain by march 2019.

Today, my landlord called me and said why have I not come to make enquiry as to why I got the letter.

I told him I know the letter was from a genuine lawyer and I decided not bother in asking him why because I know why .

The reason is not far-fetched from the fact that I quarreled with him twice because of disconnected electricity supply for four days when I was not owing him. I actually fought with him for good two days. I dared him and his generation not to fix the light until I come back from office. The first I did, he didn't reconnect the light but he reconnected the second time .

The light was disconnected because some tenants who occupied other SCs didn't pay theirs. I actually told him to pay and disconnect others who have not paid because I am tired of this kind of monthly occurrence. Somebody like me pay very early. Then, he should have a way as a landlord of getting his money when he pays for everybody instead of every month disconnection.

To cut the story short, he said he has my type as son and there is no way such disagreement will not come to play. He said he didn't actually mean it that he was only threatening me. He said he asked for the letter to be written to me by his lawyer and then he has the right to withdraw the letter too. (I think he needs money and the man is thinking March ending is too long to get another rent for the SC)

He asked me when I am paying the rent. The rent is actually #140k but I told him I will try and credit him #100,000 first. When he dropped the call, I called my wife and explained what happened to her. She let me realize the man is trying to get the six month rent for the quit notice period of six months he gave us. She said we should not play into his hands. I actually remebered the man told me on phone that if I don't have the whole #140k now, I can pay half which is #70,000. This is where I discovered what my wife said might be true .

We are actually trying to leave the house before or by March ending as the notice read before this call.

I hope this man is not trying to play smart though I know we are to pay for the six months of the notice but I don't plan to give him until I am ready to pack.

Should I involve his lawyer because his contacts are written in the letter he gave me ?

Is my landlord real ? Is he trying to play smart to get money for the notice period early? Should I credit him the #100,000? What if he returns #30,000 and claim I only pay for the notice and he keeps dragging issue with me that the notice still hold? I can't afford to loose my #70,000 just like that because the money is for the new accommodation I am looking forward to get? Can I ask him to withdraw the letter first (may be in his wife and my wife presence )?

Lest I forget, my landlord extorts a lot. That's his hobby.

Dont pay half, pay full year. Pay cash and ask him to come with his receipt or tenancy agreement before the cash is handed over. Once he hands you a receipt or agreement for extension, it automatically voids the quit notice since he cannot refund the money.

However, he can still be smart in issuing you another quit notice to expire exactly as your rent duration. This will ensure you pay for full time you spend in his house.

The best thing is to move out cause there is no trust in your relationship.

Now I have fixed other things remaining the brain box. The one I got today did not start the car. And the mechanic and electrician assured me that they will get the one that will fit.

My question is this, when I change the brain box will the car start giving issues or it will still work as it was before?

My advice to Corolla fans and drivers is to either save the ECU part number in preparation of the inevitable or learn how to remove the ECU when the car is parked in an unsafe location like people do with batteries.

Gazzuzz, my 03 Accord has thrown some codes lately.

P1157 and P0325. I unplugged the Knock sensor and replugged it, it didn't return after test drive.

The P1157 is my problem. I got another Air fuel ratio sensor from an engine seller but it threw a P1135 so i guess it is shot.

During live scan, my own AF sensor seems to work but stops. When it stops the STFT will shoot down to -20 or less and dragging the LTFT with it. All these started recently.

My search seems to suggest its a wiring problem as most people didn't solve the issue from changing the AF sensor. What should I do cos the car is thirsty now?

Abeg guys, my car has refused to start, key won’t turn, tried to move steering to the left and start the car to unlock, but steering don hook.

Called a re-wire, guy doesn’t appear to know his onions, he unscrewed all the steering and some parts around it and said we need to take the key case to Ladipo for it to be replaced which I think is absolutely ridiculous.

Please kindly recommend someone that knows his stuff to me.

It happened to me. 2003 Accord.

I was able to do DIY and start the car but the steering remained locked. The key cylinder was the issue and was fixed by a locksmith.

Of all the cars I've driven this Car made me to respect Japanese technology.... sensors everywhere. While playing music on mid or high volume the moment you step on the brake the volume reduces and increases as you accelerate.

This and many other computerized systems dazzles me.

Honda dey learn work for Toyota body with it's bolt joints always messing up.

While Accords volume increases as your speedometer rises and reduce when you reduce speed.

I still prefer the Accord.

That is a very common way people who do not understand math thing of it.

Math and English language taught to students is the basic for next things in life. It took great mathematicians to prove very simple formulas we take for granted and use everyday. It takes a mathematician to prove that the compound interest formula gives you what you need in accounting.

Even Medical Doctors use formulas to analyze issues. Hell, you can be an ordinary politician who doesn't care about math, but when GDP, GDI etc are discussed when you as a politician is the head of government, you will not appreciate what it means unless you know the simple math behind it. These are just very simple relative math but it gets more complicated as other fields totally depend on maths. Hell making, of an atomic bomd or nuclear bomb is math.

I feel your pain. Guy, pregnancy makes women anything or everything you never knew about the woman. Especially the first pregnancy. Even her eating habit can be irritating.

My wife during her 1st woke me up 4am to make her soup and semo. After i was done she drank the entire soup from the pot and left the semo. She moved out to my parents house same day as she cannot stand being in our house.

That phase is the reason why a lot of couples will not want to be pregnant immediately after wedding. It doesn't give you a chance to have a good time as husband and wife.

Southern Kaduna as the geographical centre of Nigeria was also a strong part of the consideration as the capital, specifically a village called Sabon gida in the present Sanga LGA bordering the popular Forest on the Akwanga-Jos road. Abuja site came out most suitable because most of the factors considered were there especially the geophysical properties (source of water, drainage, construction materials etc ).

A president is a State man from the day he is declared elected. His private visit or trip is a state private trip. His health is state business. He becomes a symbol of the state and cannot drop it even if the VP is acting president.

Anywhere the president decides to privately visit is still the state responsibility to get him there and back safely. This display of ignorance by the OP and the MOD that pushed it to front page is disgusting.
