Sapiosexuall: Hello good people. I'm beginning to be bothered about the issue of hard start with my car. Three different mechanics have changed the fuel pump but the hard start persists.
Initially, the car hard starts and kicks but now it hard starts and goes off. It only kicks after about three attempts. Everyone keeps saying the problem is from the fuel pump. I have changed the complete fuel pump three times but the problem persist.
Please I need professional help and advice on this embarrassing problem. I'm in Abuja You need to describe more of the issue. Is the hard start on cold start or every time or hot start. Cold start is usually after the car rest for 2hrs or more. This is usually fuel supply related, not necessarily fuel pump. Fuel should remain under pressure even after car is turn off. If the pump has to build pressure every time you start from cold, it will delay start. Issues can be leaking injector, bad pressure regulator or a pipe leak. Every time hard start could be engine health related, such as, low compression, fouled plugs etc Hot start is usually fuel pump. |

At least, he still respected the South West and recognized he needed their support.
Did Tinubu ever appeal to the South East for support or he viewed them as inconsequential. Obi can go to anywhere in the SW and walk free. Tinubu will not come out alive if he tries that in SE. From the beginning, SE made it very clear, Tinubu will be wasting his time and money campaigning in the SE. Who doesn't know that. Besides he knows he has everywhere else. Reason the federal high court throw out the case is due to Locus standi. That is, pdp doesn't have the legal position to file such case. At that level, only somebody that did primary with shetima, tinubu, or APC member can file such case.
But at election petition tribunal, pdp, LP, candidates have the locus standi to file such case by the provisions of the law.
So, I can assure you 100% that the case will be listened to at petition tribunal. Thanks. You contradicted yourself. Is Peter Obi a member of the APC? |

bentenny: INEC should have called for a rerun immediately after the election when they observed that tinubu didn't meet the 25% of FCT Its stated explicitly in the electoral laws that when a candidate doesn't attain the requirement though has the spread and the majority of votes,INEC will do a rerun in 21 days! The candidate with the highest number of votes plus the spread and the first runner up with a spread will go on a contest and the candidate with the highest votes wins! Bottom line,INEC failed to abide by their own laws! What is that explicit requirement - "where the margin of lead is less than the total number of voters in PU's where election didn't hold or voided". That's the condition for rerun. Otherwise, they can't call for rerun because of Abuja. |

Brendaniel: You are still missing it, it not a must that you win Abuja, but the 25% is required which Tinubu did not meet... There are 2 conditions to become President elect, let's assume you are correct, Tinubu cannot be declared. Tinubu has the highest votes and 25% in 36 states. Obi has 25% FCT Atiku has non Kwankwaso worst. In this situation, who gets declared? It can't be Tinubu, it also can't be Obi. There's then no constitutional procedure for INEC to resolve it and May 29 Buhari leaves. INEC is not empowered to do another rerun or new election. No VP. Even if Senate president becomes president according to the constitution. The current senate President leaves office soon. The new Senate can't be inaugurated because there's no president to inaugurate and CJN doesn't have that power. That will be a LACUNA! That FCT 25% you guys are talking about is a Lacuna and no court will contemplate it no matter how much you romanticise it. |

Politics › Re: 25% In FCT - A Simple Explanation On Why APC And INEC Have Erred (my Opinion) by adanny01(m): 12:09am On Mar 24, 2023 |
Brendaniel: The problem with you Tinubu supporters is you people don't pay attention to details, I did not talk about Tinubu here I only talked about INEC and the constitution, and I never said that anyone who wins Abuja wins the presidency, I am only interpreting the constitution that states that you must have not less than 25% of total votes cast in at least two-third of all the States in the Federation and the FCT, Abuja.
So what are you blaming me for? If 25% of Abuja is a most. 1999, 2003, 2015, 2019 elections would have automatically been a stalemate with no winner. There is also no way to proceed having a president in the constitution. It will be a lacuna. Think critically my friend.Obj didn't win Abj twice, same with Buhari twice. Imagine each of all those sceneries, no one wins. What will happen. Think very well, if 25% in Abj is a must. This election has no winner, and the constitution has nothing prescribed for this situation. It's a deadlock and then chaos. Those who drafted the constitution know this and they couldn't have planned a deadlock election. One that has happened 5 out of 7 elections since 1999. Lastly, did I mention Tinubu or INEC? Your comprehension and interpretation is simply wrong. |
Politics › Re: 25% In FCT - A Simple Explanation On Why APC And INEC Have Erred (my Opinion) by adanny01(m): 11:46pm On Mar 23, 2023 |
Brendaniel: I have tried as much as possible to avoid debating on this issue, but sometimes one needs to look at some issues from the simplest forms to solve some problems, so firstly we will need to define the meaning of a state.
According to Oxford dictionary a state is a nation or territory considered as an organized political community under one government.
Now let's talk about Nigeria, Nigeria has 36 states and the FCT, Note that when they teach you in school or write the states and capitals in Nigeria, FCT is the only one without a capital, they just write FCT, the reason is because it is not a state but a capital, it is the capital of Nigeria.
Let's go back to the definition of a state, Nigeria itself is a state and its capital is Abuja(FCT), it is like Lagos and Ikeja, Lagos is a state and Ikeja is its capital.
Now let's go back to the constitution that requires INEC to declare a candidate winner of the presidential election and it states:
The Constitution in stipulating the requirements for election as Nigerian president states in Section 134(2) that a candidate must (a) have the highest number of votes cast at the election; and (b) have not less than 25% of total votes cast in at least two-third of all the States in the Federation and the FCT, Abuja.
So here you have it, have not less than 25% of total votes cast in at least two-third of all the States in the Federation and the FCT, Abuja.
The reason those who wrote the constitution had to still write FCT, Abuja is because they knew it was not a state and so did not count Abuja as a state but a capital, if not they would have stopped the statement at "have not less than 25% of total votes cast in at least two-third of all the States in the Federation".
But they had to stress FCT,Abuja in it to make sure that whoever will interpret the law will know that Abuja was not considered a state when they were referring to "states".
So in essence Abuja is not a state and has never been considered a state constitutionally, it is the capital of Nigeria, it is like what Ikeja is to Lagos, that is why there is no document that uses the statement like Abuja state or state or Abuja like you have Osun state or state of Osun, all you see is Federal capital Territory(Abuja).
So INEC did not follow the constitution In other words. once a candidate wins Abuja, it's all over. The one one who wins Abuja is the president. Why not we just let only Abuja people just elect the president? There's no point doing elections in the 36 states since Abuja is priority. This issue is just comprehension and all you wrote is just a proof of your lack of it. The mention of FCT is because of the 2/3 of states, FCT inclusive. The word "and" is a conjunction used to connect words of the same part of speech, clauses, or sentences, that are to be taken jointly. "bread and butter" The second meaning of "and" is when used as an interjection, this is usually used for feelings and emotions which is not applicable to this clause. I know what you wrote is an opinion, but your opinion is driven by bias.

abobote: You don't get it. You are using past elections to justify this one, which is very wrong. Nigeria invested so much in this election, and expections were high. Ofcourse, we know elections in have been very bad, but we expected this to be different, and at the end, we taking back to square one Which election has Nigeria not invested in? Can you name one. The only expectation you have that wasn't met is LP not winning. If you expected a perfect election then you are not a realist and will never understand Nigeria. The Nigerians I know are smart people and can find loopholes in the law and govt policies no matter how tight they are made. I watched in horror as the Governorship returning officer in Kaduna (a Prof) did the unthinkable that even some illiterates will not do. The law was clear stated to him but he still defied the law and did what he was obviously paid to do. With all that, I have not insult Mahmood Yakubu or INEC. I didn't insult anyone or say the entire process was corrupt or bad. Someone did bad that's it and I hope the court will serve justice. If it doesn't come, it's not work my blood or that of anyone. |

I am so certain that the 2023 presidential election is one of the freest and fairest election ever in Nigeria. It is the closest to reality we ever had. 100% agreed. Best election we ever had but turns out to be the most criticized. There is no election ever in the history of Nigeria that is better than this but they won't agree. Intact, far less people died in Rivers than when Wike himself was contestant. This election has the least bloodshed but Obidients cannot remember how it was. Far less kidnapping. Almost zero post election violence. BVAS worked far better than the Card reader before it. My wish is that Supreme court will cancel the presidential election and ask for it to be done again. Obidients will wish the didn't go to court. |

The 37 federating units or constituents are usually referred to as 36 State and the FCT (because FCT can't be called state). They need to explain to us what makes Abuja important than others and mandatory. Whether each voter there have many heads, we don't know. True, that means a vote in Abj is automatically the vote for a president but the vote in Kaduna or any other of the 35 states is not automatic. What they claim is clear lack of comprehension. This comprehension problem is widespread in Nigeria. |

BTW, if Peter Obi is hoping to use that as basis to upturn Tinubu's sham victory, then I am afraid he has no case against the Druggie because it won't work. Ask yourself why Obj won election twice without winning FCT, same with Buhari. Don't put hope on that. |

So you are proud that you are going to have a president who is a drug dealer, and at the same time forfeited £360000 proceeds from the drug business to US. You need to know the person of Peter Obi with this election. Why are you guys not thinking well. Remember, Raymond Dokpesi's case. He was paid for a legitimate media job for GEJ's campaign. But the money paid to him was proven to belong to the FG and the payment method of cash was also against the law. The court had to ask him to return the money and then set him free. That's exactly what happened to Tinubu. He did a consulting job and was paid but the money he received was proven to be drug related. The money was collected and he was set free. |
