Haba! Kilode! A year is too early for him to start a new relationship. How are we sure he didn't kill his wife just to marry another woman... You know you men can't be trusted.
Atleast 3-5years is okay before he can move on
I know a man who was 5&6 with his wife. This man was around 60yrs old and was a grand father already. He goes every where with his wife, doesn't drink or go out or have even friends. His friend was his wife.

However, she died and 6months later, he married a police woman who was never married. People were talking hush hush but it happened and they are still together almost 10yrs now.

What's that argument you can never involve yourself in?

I go first!

I can never involve myself arguing about Nigeria politics. Never!!!.. Discussing Nigeria politics for me is pointless. Though, recently the tide has been changing.

Secondly, I can never involve myself in Messi and C. Ronaldo argument though I've been watching football ball for more than 20yrs. But you see Messi/Ronaldo matter just count me off...

So what's that argument you can never involve yourself in no matter how knowledgeable you have about that argumenthuh

Over to you...
Basically, I avoid talking about anything Muslim especially when a Muslim is around. Especially on the internet. Am afraid I will say something that could make me lose my life.

The next day I opened the case to pair, they were both missing. Apparently, they both spilled out of the case when the case fell. I was only able to recover the right ear in the dust bin of the hotel after they swept it.

PoliticsRe: Why I Think Atiku May Win This Election. by adanny01(m): 8:22pm On Oct 04, 2022
FatherOfJesus:
If he can address the Wike camp, it will take God to stop him.

The truth is that, Tinubu cannot beat Atiku in northwest and northeast and Peter Obi will not do well there. Atiku is going to comfortably win these regions. Forget about the APC structure, A Yoruba man cannot beat a core northerner here, it’s not possible. These parts of the country has herd mentality, last figures proves that. It’s a winner takes all region and no splitting, especially in the northwest

Tinubu will not win much outside of southwest, kogi and Kwara. Tinubu will not win a single local government in southeast or south south. The southsouth has strong PDP structure and Its between Atiku and Peter obi.

In the Middle belt, Tinubu will perform well in kwara and kogi, Atiku will do well in Benue, nassarawa and Niger. Obi will do well in Abuja

In southeast, Obi will win while Atiku will be second. Tinubu May not win a polling unit here.

All the predictive analysis points to Atiku emerging victorious without any sentiments here.
I need you to read my words carefully.

The region you have not understood is NW. Yes, Wike can do damage to PDP and Atiku, but don't assume the NW will go for Atiku as a northerner. The NW in every election didn't go with Atiku and don't consider him their own. As a matter of fact, they consider NE as a threat to their dominance. If NE gets the presidency, it only delays power coming to the NW. Their selfish interest rest with either Tinubu or Obi which assures them the return of power to the NW.

29kobo:
Nothing wrong with the sale of the DISCOS.

This was what was wrong

The issues facing the Nigerian power sector remains multi-faceted but in our view, top on the list is the non-cost reflective tariff. While we acknowledge that the current macroeconomic landscape may not be best suited for another hike in electricity tariffs, we note that the continued adoption of non-cost-reflective tariffs will exacerbate the anemic position of Discos, prevent the overhaul of poor transmission infrastructure, hinder private sector investments and constrain the development of the power sector. With government revenue under significant pressure, we believe government liquidity injections may prove to be insufficient in sustaining the power sector.

Saurce

At the very least, government should let em make a profit by letting them set prices, not the government doing it for them.

Modified

More on the liquidity issues here
I agree with you but on the contrary, some of these Disco's had no will to do the right thing. To them, they bought cash cows. No matter how appropriate the tariff is, without the will to provide good service, it will never end well.

Look at KadunaElectric, they intentionally do not install prepaid meters even if you pay for it while the neighboring KEDCO has been massively metering customers. The logic behind KadunaElectric not metering customers is purely selfish and covering up for their failure. They basically share feeder accrued bill to unmetered customers after deducting prepaid bills. This leads to unreasonably high bill for unmetered customers and then they never have to worry about having loses. This has led to many customers avoiding those huge bills by buying meters. They realised the more meters they installed, the high and unrealistic the unmetered bills will be, so, to keep avoiding loses they prefer to sabotage metering.

Secondly, when it was NEPA, technical employees were put in charge of distribution districts but these Disco's made the leadership of districts business oriented. The Disco's made money a priority in the expense of service they provide.

asomix22:
Good evening.
I changed my Honda Accord Engine this year. After about 2 months coming back from a road trip, the engine knocked. A mechanic said the knock is due to the oil pump not supplying.

I got a new engine 2 weeks afters and in less than two weeks, i was hearing a noise from the car, so i chacked and someone said its the adjuster that is making noise.

The mechanic now came to pick the car with thr hope of changing the adjuster. After changing it, the noise persisted. That lead to the mechanic checking the engine and upon checking, the Camshaft was bad. Again, the mechanic said the oil pump failed and that was what led to the damage.

I will like to understand the likely cause. Two engines in less than 4 months.

Please note that i used different mechanics to install the two engines.

TBH, an abused 08 Accord is seriously excess baggage. Most abused cars are stress to put back in order.

The thing with this car is that a used one will always have a bad interior (leather seat and headliner). The engine will give up immediately with a blocked catalyst.

Despite all these, it is cheaper to fix than the same year of the Camry in same condition. The fear for Honda is a gain for those who like it.

Auskyd:
You cannot "pay" yourself grants, abeg. Please stop this ignorant talk. Grants are earned, not just given. You apply for it and if you are deemed worthy, you'll get it. Grants are meant for infrastructure. They don't sit and call all lecturers and say "ehen, Dem don pay grant oh, come and take your share".

Salaries, you also have to work for as well. Under normal circumstances they ought to review salaries every 3 years at least, but since 2008 no reviews have been done. No qualitative increase in salary. Nothing.

But these fools on here want lecturers to "manage" it simply because they and their friends want to graduate. When you ask them to go back and lecture, they'll tell you "GoD fOrbiD" and laugh derisively.

A lot of ministries and MDAs are not under IPPIS. Senators and HoRs members are not under IPPIS, and these are also govt workers. When they asked them why, no one could say anything.

So if other ministries can decide they don't want IPPIS, why can't lecturers do the same? No worry, everybody go dey alright. Let people keep siding with the oppressor. E go touch everybody one day.
From your first line, you obviously have comprehension issues.

You can proof your comprehension by quoting me with what I wrote against what you wrote.

I never engage in an argument with people who have comprehension issues. They will always misconstrue the context just like you have.

What they are fighting is to have control of money since government doesn't let them do it.

What do they want? They want to be out of IPPIS and pay themselves from government grants. Is like an adult child throwing tantrums asking for his inheritance from his father.

APC indeed is an evil party. So, agencies of the government not working justifies ASUU (GL) earning less $150 and professor earning less than $320 per month. Inefficiency in government is the fault of ASUU and not the incompetent APC government. You guys sound stewpid each time you attempt to defend this administration.

In saner climes. Even APC supporters wants to talk about saner climes. Imagine!!!. Blaming ASUU for Buhariii overtly incompetence.

Keep it up Na your pikin go suffer am.

The fact that you quote their salaries in US Dollars means you cannot be reasonable to the fact that you shouldn't be comparing Nigeria to the US in anyway. The fact that the dollar is N700 in the parallel market and you do not know the real reason for it means you should be careful when comparing things. When you do that shallow comparison and forget relevant issues, then you can be said to be ignorant.

You mentioned APC twice. When PDP agreed with ASUU to inject 1.3trillion Naira in the universities and never did, did you call them out. Why do you think that since my days in school, early 2000s, ASUU has done nearly 2 dozen strikes and you deem it fit to call out only the present government.

Besides, the agreement of 2009 is what ASUU is clinging to, how come you didn't mention the very party that had the agreement and never fulfilled it?

In saner climes like you mentioned, they pay lecturers very well lmao. Not the peanuts they are paid here. You must be foolish to think the govt cares about students the way ASUU does. The little improvements you see in universities was fought for by ASUU. Left to govt, build the school and let it rot will be the order of the day.

If they ask students to pay school fees of 200k to foot the bill of the schools, students will riot. So where will schools see money to run themselves when govt doesn't intervene?

Make una dey type with sense abeg
Answer this simple question, in saner climes, do government pay lecturers at all, buy books, build infrastructure?
EducationRe: Who Is ASUU Really Fighting For? by adanny01(m): 9:01pm On Jul 27, 2022
Paulheyman:
If you can't afford a private university, ASUU is fighting for you.

If you're a hater of covenant, Madonna, landmark, KDUM, Tansian and other high fee universities then ASUU is fighting for you.

If you still want your children to benefit from good academics then ASUU is fighting for you.

If you still want your certificate to be valid and used to process your documents to Japa out of this country then ASUU is fighting for you (Remember Abia state polytechnic).

If you want to see Nigeria progress then ASUU is fighting for you.

The university is the last of our public school system left to be conquered by the political elites. They came for the primary schools we applauded them, after all primary education doesn't matter, private primary schools can do the job, then they came for the secondary education, we still left them to destroy it, the effect is examination malpractice. Lastly, they are targeting the peak of our education and people are blaming the defenders and not the offenders. If the government destroys our public universities then education will only be limited to the elites and those who intend to leave naija using their certificates will be stock cos your certificate won't be acceptable in any country.

Confucius said "when workers are paid well they're motivated to work well"

How much do you pay primary school teachers, how much do you pay secondary school teachers. You pay a teacher #10k in private school and you expect him to do wonders.

Those backing the government don't know that they are promoting illiteracy and backwardness. Most countries don't value our certificates. I wonder want becomes of you after studying medicine, nursings, engineering, physics, chemistry etc and you are told that your certificate is not recognize abroad then you'll understand what you've opted to defend. What of those doing PhD and MSc just to finish and be informed that you can't go beyond Nigeria with your PG certificate. God forbid

If ASUU perish we all perish

Stay blessed
You have not said 1 thing I will agree with you.

Tell me one agency of government that is working the way we expect? Does ASUU expect that govt will prioritize them over the entire responsibilities of the govt?

ASUU are teachers as well as those who teach in primary and secondary schools. The demands by ASUU in comparison to all other civil servants that depend on government is simply outrageous. If every civil service union behaves like ASUU, govt will never be able to solve the issues with the current state of the economy.

Besides, in saner climes, government does not foot every bill of tertiary institutions. ASUU shouldn't have the moral audacity to hold the tertiary system to ransom if they know that it's not a right for them to be treated above the reasonable means of the govt. Govt is simply doing it for the sake of the very students ASUU has no regard for. Govt funding of the tertiary institutions is a responsibility it has to provide education for citizens of Nigeria. ASUU successfully kidnapped that responsibility for ransom. It's a bad thing. No excuses.

PoliticsRe: Things That The Next President Of Nigeria Is Expected To Put Back In Order. by adanny01(m): 11:00pm On Jul 04, 2022
BluntCrazeMan:
THINGS THAT THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA IS EXPECTED TO PUT BACK IN ORDER.

1. Policies that will bring about strong economic reforms and economic growth.
(The current CBN policies that continued causing lots of series of uncountable deductions from people’s bank accounts is a killer-policy. Serious taxations on small business owners is a killer-policy. Policies that minimises the little profits of the small and medium business owners is a killer-policy)

2. Security across the whole of Nigeria.
(There should be adequate security and peace, both in the North, South, East, and West).

3. Full transparency of the Government Expenditures.
(Quarterly release of the Government Expenditures at all levels - down to the LGAs, and yearly published Fully-Audited Accounts of the Government “both online and hardcopies”, at all levels)

4. Total Restructuring and reformation of the Military, the Police, and other security agencies as well as other paramilitary bodies too..
(Their current mode of engagement of the personnels of the Nigerian Security agencies with the Nigerian citizens are zero. They are nothing to write home about. Their current mode of operation are filled with corrupt practices. There is need for a top-to-bottom continuous reorientation system, as well as a proper bottom-to-top continuous feedback and assessment system for all these bodies and agencies).

5. Reorientation of the Values of the Common Average Nigerian.
(There should be policies and laws that should subconsciously minimise the urge for doing things that would have negative impact on oneself or on other people. Currently, the only values we know in Nigeria is money. And that is, gathering much money by any means possible and using it to show off... - Even if the showing off is a fake show. There is need for a subconscious reorientation of the citizens towards creating positivity and better-life for oneself and other people around oneself, and not in showing off. There are prices that are supposed to be paid to the government before some types of high-end goods and services are purchased. And their are also prices to be paid for such high-end goods and services to be kept unused or under-used or misused. Also, their are prices to be paid too for such high-end goods and services to be put in good use. If anyone really needs such goods and services, then he would be prepared to pay the prices, if not, their won't be need paying for such goods and services where there are no need for them.)

6. Instant punishment for crimes and evil.... And also, instant reward for doing something that is exceptionally good.
(Currently, evil doers go free.. And whoever that tries to report the evil doers might end up being the one that gets punished. The current system of identifying crimes and evil should be revisited and reviewed)

7. Reorientation of the Values and the remuneration of the Government Workers.
(The current average government worker tries to find ways to earn some extra money in order to augment the Official wages. In doing such, may create some loopholes in order to do special favours to hawks who parade as contractors and consultants, and from them get some kickbacks.. All these should stop. Once a transparent and frequent financial records are out there published, and very much available for public scrutiny and criticisms, such excesses should stop naturally.)

8. An Encouraging Environment for both the Business and Job Career Persons.
(If there businesses available, then, there would be need to employ more people to carry out the business.. But in an environment where the businesses are not thriving well, then, a lot of people won't have jobs to do)

9. Proper Circulation of wealth.
(The idea of making people to believe that their is wealth in some non-productive activities which yield money to People but do not create real value to the society or to the economy, should be seriously played down and be minimised. Such things like Politics-Money-Sharing, Online-Dubious-Money, Pyramid-Scheme-Money-Growing, Duping-People, Bank-Hacking, and so on.. All these things have negative effects. They only enrich the few people who have nothing to offer.
Meanwhile, the main aim of Politics is not making-money. We need a president who would make Politics what it really is. Which is: All About Power, and Power Alone. And not a wealth-sharing venture for the entire lineage and community.)

Let me tell you why I am enjoying life even when I have nothing saved for my future.

The best I got was advice and was taught contentment. So today, when I am broke, that's what I can afford and settle well into my brokeness and never envy.

My issue with you is that you envy what you don't have and have demonised your dad for not providing you a President's son treatment. He doesn't owe you that, what he owes you is a good upbringing and a decent education.

law is not black white..so you cant wave the "ignorance is not an excuse card" as a reason to indict an accused used person for something they may know anything about or even if they do, theres no way to prove that they know about it prior to the wrong doing..
Read the screen shot again and see if it applies. Take note that high ranking and low ranking officials.

As defined by Wikipedia
Plausible deniability is the ability of people, typically senior officials in a formal or informal chain of command, to deny knowledge of or responsibility for any damnable actions committed by members of their organizational hierarchy.
Even though you know what plausible deniability is , you however don't know how it applies.
