Afritop: ITS LIKE THE MAN AFTER COMMITTING THAT CRIME USED JUJU ON THE FAMILY MEMBERS OF THE DECEASED FOR THEM TO BE CONFUSED ON WHETHER TO REPORT HIM TO THE OGUN STATE POLICE OR THE LAGOS STATE POLICEYes o,I think that's the strangest part of d news.imagine someone killing their relation and they are just confused about which police station to go.una no go hack down d door, bundle d man to d nearest police station, then carry una sister?I seriously suspect juju at work here o. |
rozayx5: stop linking this to poverty abeg, are they the poorest in LagosAnd he had the temerity to confiscate her corpse, then her clueless relatives "don't know which police to call"....d baba use juju on them? |
2 questions on my mind......how did all these arms and ammunitions manage to enter this country undetected?AND how soon before imam shekau or whatever his name is,is caught? NA WAH O |

Prof Corruption: Nigerians do know the type of leaders we have now. I pity the likes of Mimiko and Akpabio.hmm.true talk.whatever happened to that mantu of a guy.he was all over d papers then.....our politicians sell their dignity to d dogs.I'm happy for this video but even without d video,d rigger of d election already confessed it in church on sunday, and even said God was in support.I don't need to see d video to agree that it was rigged!! |

Dose days wen we used to sit at d back of d car aπϑ be making funny faces to cars at d back.playing tenten, suwe,I call on. did the funny faces too,or just stick my tongue to d glass/window.funny I liked smelling my new "reader" and text books.I still remember d smell....also I remember how gullible I was.whenever I had to take an injection or immunization,I'd cry and cry but my mum and d nurses always deceived me by saying dat if you don't take d injection,so and so person won't allow u to come to her birthday party(making it sound as if d party is already taking place).I go jus summon courage take d injection.after injection, oya mummy where's d party?answer:tomorrow.by tomorrow,I don forget.lol.funny thing is that same story every injection time and I always fell for it.hehehe.but children of these days don't get easily deceived o.dem sharp die!....those days,if my uncle/aunty come to our house to visit, when they wanna leave,I ll start crying and wanting to follow.they ll say "go and get ur shoes",before I come out with my shoes, dem don run o.I cry tire.U can't try that with children of these days more than once o.they won't fall for it.I did it to my niece one day and escaped,d next time I was there,as soon as she saw me and greeted me,she run enter inside room carry her shoe come out and waited for me patiently till I was ready to go.aunty,I ll follow u.ok go and bring ur shoes.I shock when she lifted d shoes from right beside me. ![]() |

Phikom: i cant believe all dis ugly scenario is happening to my dear fatherland!!! Jang, u never had the intention to contest, but then ow did u eventually emerge as d winner? d fake and ugly document shows 19governors voted for u backdoor in a secret fraudulent cyberballot voting...ow would wu did not have d intention of contesting eventually emerge as the winner...dis is ridiculousAbi o my brother,if he left for abuja not knowing he would contest, how come the other governors saw into d future and voted him via the backdoor.maybe god revealed that in a dream to them all, except him.....the painful truth is that if a 36man-vote can be rigged shamelessly and blatantly lied about, then, there's really not much hope for the millions of nigerians who ll vote in d upcoming election.very shameful! ![]() |
brixton: [b] So this is what he tells himself (since he "defeated" amaechi) to help him sleep better at night? in d wise words of d banana iceland chief....... I GIVE UP!!! |
queven: they will never mention if ransom was paid or not..y do they hide this factI think they don't mention that ransom was paid so that potential kidnappers will get discouraged.if for instance a frustrated youth keeps hearing ransom being paid in 6-9digits,he may decide that kidnapping is a lucrative business afterall. Then secondly, maybe they are trying to protect their "integrity".that's ironical cos integrity and lies don't go hand in hand. |
tomakint: That was the era when good music with loads of sense were made! Can't forget Veno Marioghae (Nigeria Go Survive), Funmi Davies(Nigeria My Beloved Country), Onyeka Onwenu, Christy Essien Igbokwe, Stella Monye, Lijadu Sisters, Dora Ifudu, Princess Bunmi Olajubu(Eko dara pupo), Carol Bridi, Oby Onyioha, Sunshine Sisters and few other female entertainers of the 70s and 80s those were the era I can never forget, what a reminiscencemmm "Nigeria go survive".I didn't know the singer but I remember d music.maybe she saw into d future we need more of this kind of music at times like this. |
Lakayana: People hmm we are praising and missing that era I bet most these people singing her praises once had something bad to say about her. We don't value what we have till it's gone.I may be wrong but I don't think people had anything bad to say about her.whenever I hear her songs,I'm caterpaulted back to my childhood.most of d people "singing her praises" here were kids when she sang and were only too happy to dance to her "happy birthday" tunes during "baideis" like d OP called it.besides,I think she's scandal free.Evi Edna is fondly remembered. |
Maxymilliano: We travel to Umunede, we go speak Isoko,I miss my childhood.I remember this song.sang it heartily even though I didn't get the lyrics.I no send dat time o. |
ogugua88: [size=13pt]I hate the act of flogging. My dad flogged us when we were younger and I always found it stupid and heartless. It was very saddening and I believed my father didn't love my siblings and I. Sometimes I think back now that I'm adult, and I see no reason for any of it. I can't attribute any good thing that I am to flogging.in my home,my mum was the flogger.she would assign housechores and sometimes come home to find that we didn't do them.played a lot.ohh, how she flogged us!we never hated her for it.not for a single day,the irony is that my dad,who never lifted a finger on us was the one we feared.....as an adult, when I reflect,I hold nothing in my heart for her but pure love.sometimes we tease her about her "terror cane" and we all have a goodlaugh about it.......back to topic,I will flog my kids.children are more intelligent than we give them credit for.they know whose bluff to call and whose not to.they know what they can get away with, and with whom.we keep saying "he's just a child, when he's older he ll get it".more often than not, they don't get it!from as early as 2yrs old, they try to manipulate d parents.at 2,I won't exactly use a cane on my kid but will spank d back of his/her palm, when they get older,I ll introduce d cane.as late teenagers,I ll use words.there's no way that kid won't turn out good!and yes,I owe the way I turned out to my parents, especially my mum!I LOVE YOU MUM!! |
Dee60: They are of Nigerian descent. British media has not done anything wrong. We are quick to claim that Obama is of Kenyan descent. There are Nigerians doing great things in this same UK. One is very prominent in the parliament. We are happy to be associated with them. We are happy when they link them to Nigeria. No sense denying that these guys are of Nigerian descent and they are of Yoruba descent as well. I am a Yoruba man, before yyou start screaming black and blue.1000likes |
tinuolababy: What is this?Ezemmuo |
Ama28: How come el-Rufai, the self acclaimed messiah of Nigeria did not intervene to free the guy?why should he be freed?he committed a crime,he should do the time.if the sentence is running concurrently,he should be out by 1.5months,I think. |
76Naira: Typical Naija attitude!Thank you.you ve said it all.until we begin to look beyond tribal sentiments, religious and political affiliations in this nation,we will remain in this pathetic state we find ourselves.we must rise up to condemn evil irrespective of whether it was perpetrated by our tribesman, political ally or fellow believer.evil is evil and should not be condoned for whatever reason. In d same vein, goodwork should be applauded irrespective of tribe, politics and religion.putting humanity/mankind and nigeria first will really make us better people.God bless Nigeria. |
Freiburger: 56 million?2 nations actually.madagascar(23million) and any other small nation! |
wise_many2k: Ur own is small na.....my own question is, why do ppl like spitting like snakes on the road and worst of all, blowing catarrh anywhere within sight?you are right.I don't know what spoils my mood like seeing body fluids all over the place.it is very disgusting and unfortunate that people do it without a care in the world. |
googlepikin: Its like in Nigeria if you steal in billions govt will cover you wella with insurance, but if you steal in millions your anti virus firewall no dey active be that. Na for AIT crime fighter or sunnews paper your people go dey see you.True talk o and if u steal in thousands,na 45years imprisonment then if you steal in hundreds,na ALUUmination be dat o....moral of d nigerian story(situation):Thou shalt not steal but if you must, then steal wisely! |
delors: I thought u saw them with your two ears before ni...OMG!!which kain people dey dis nairaland sef!! laugh don kill me dis midnight oooo |
gramci: Facebook international school markudithis is why I love nairaland.crazy humor .....@OP,last time I was at The Nigerian Conservative Garden,Lekki,I saw a lot of tortoise eating grass, infact happily munching grass.maybe that ll work for your new found pet.goodluck! |
sexyseun: I have always been very protective when it comes to s.ex, but right now i have a feeling that i am preggy. Been having serious headaches and feverish feeling for some days now and i cant just allow myself to see a doctor for the fear of pregnancy test, my dad would kill me if its real, please how can i confirm if i am pregnant without seeing a doctor? Then lastly, is it possible for someone to get pregnant even when the guy used a condom?did you miss your period or is it just the fever?if you did,by how many days?d best bet is to see a doctor for tests. |
dannysteve99@ya:....or playing Ludo by d corner? |
Dr. Whizy:passing by d tree, finds him dead with a big grin on his face, brings out my phone to ask alhaji if he still needs the human head....oops,no network o. ![]() |
Innodon: the Idemili people worship this thing. I hate it . How on earth can someone sit close to this creature?maybe, but the worship isn't rampant these days.we just don't kill them and they are totally harmless.they just move about freely.whenever I go home for xmas and they roam about the compound,my male cousins just lift them up with bare hands or sticks and take them out of d compound.my cousin even wore one round his neck!they are that harmless, but I no dey near the snakes or d holder/wearer o....oh and when walking by and we see a dead one, people just get big leaves and cover them.I'm not sure the significance of that. |
