First of all people have to understand that Niger delta and SS are not the same find out the states that make up ND and u ll discover it's not jus SS or SE but SW is also represented . A lot of folks here don't really understand that. Secondly we have to look beyond natural resources. People need proper orientation on how this oil thing works. The environmental implications of sabotaging oil Wells and pipelines are terrible. Cos whether we like it or not our children re definitely going to bear the brunt of what's happening now. Technology is improving everyday and countries who used to import are discovering oil and are even venturing into renewables. What becomes of the Niger Delta then? We will have succeeded in rendering our land uninhabitable and economically impaled. Of what use is a land that can't be farmed in, with rivers that can't be fished in and a natural resource that is so cheap because almost every country now has it. I strongly believe that fiscal federalism ll solve a lot of issues in this country with resource control as a priority. Also we should learn to say the truth as it is, not blindly supporting evil because your tribesman is involved. |

Nice post....assuming someone starts with 2.5 tons and later wants to upgrade to 5 or 10 tons..how possible and what re the implications both financial and safety wise. |

Spirit1:I am not just an igbo man but an mbaise man from one one of the historic families in igboland and I can tell you that we don't believe in the osu system. My kids are free to marry anybody that is said to be an outcast. If you won't show up at my wedding because I am marrying an outcast, it's your loss. I saw my parents build their little empire from scratch without a dime or assistance from anyone so the issue of family members deserting you when you re in need is a deceptive ploy. The osu caste system is devilish and barbaric n so is anybody believes and practises it. There are far more important things to worry about when choosing a life partner . 1 Like |

The Osu system is barbaric, and devilish just as killing of twins, slavery and offering human sacrifices are. It's very unfortunate that in this Morden generation folks are still allowing themselves to be brainwashed and deceived into stuff they don't even know how it all came about. There is a book on amazon by Chinedu Ihekoronye titled "The Outcast", which gives a deep insight into what the Osu system is all about. I recommend it for everyone. I believe that the girls family doesn't just like the guy or may have a richer guy /family they want to marry their daughter and the best way to discredit the young man is to label him an Osu. Tell me if this osu issue would arise assuming the guy was a billionaire . I won't even want to be associated with anybody that believes in it.
