grafikii: This is unbelievable, only in Nigeria. People like oliseh should be running our football, not the animals in the nff. Like nff, like pdp, like gej. So many of this animals should be sacked, the nff should be dissolved. These nonsense has to stop. I loved this country yesterday, but am back to hate mode.

FIFA is an epitome of corruption, i see no difference between their actions and that of NFF. Same bunch of ...

makaveli1:
Haha I pray GEJ gives us a reason to beg him to re-contest before the end of next year just like keshi has given us one

Keep dreaming... Reminds me of the lyric from the plantation boiz song "my father used to tell me that dreams come true"

Hi,
Is there a postal service that allows for me to submit my documents electronically and they print it and deliver it to the postal address of my choice.

I need to deliver some letters to a school in vancouver, these letter were written by me so i feel it would be more cost effective to do this than to send them through fedex. Thanks

Crime / Re: Slain Banker’s Husband, A Responsible Prisoner – Journalist by adewaleafolabi(m): 9:21pm On Feb 01, 2013
klear:
rme @ your opinion...am sure if his late wife is your relative, you will have a totally different opinion. She had more than 76 stab wounds & most of them were fatal http://www.punchng.com/metro/slain-banker-had-over-76-stab-wounds-pathologist/ . So she just can not have such wounds while trying to retrieve the knife from him & it is only a demonic rage that will take over a person's mind & make him stab his wife over & over again! If you are tired of the marriage why not parcel her back to where you got her? & And as for his innocent boy looks in the picture, you will be amazed at the number of deranged souls that look normal while walking along the streets.
As for the lawyer, I don't blame her because she is only doing her job ( Just wondering how well she sleeps at night)

After doing shit for a while your conscience drops dead and sleep comes back natural. Its an inbuilt survival / defense mechanism. Its closely related to Habituation.

Lagos_Boi: I can not completely agree with Nigerian Judicial System especially when i understand them better after yakubu's case, Even if he is a tout who works in the motor park, It is strange that he will just pick a knife and stab his wife to death during an arguement or even a fight, There are some incidents that happen in life co-incidentally and this does not neccessarily judge the man in and out.

What if the wife went to take the knife and in the process of trying to collect it, she got stabbed and died. something in me tells me, he can't just stab her to death because of a fight or arguement.

I am interested in this guys's case too. He does not look so wicked to me physologically.

Afterall none of this will bring her back to life.

My sincere opinion.

My good man are you familiar with the term Crime of passion? It clearly depicts the matter at hand. However, evidence sometimes could be circumstantial. But with the number of wounds and stabs, the best am willing to consider is temporary insanity.

Nigeria Nigeria Nigeria, it appears your salvation is only but a pipe dream. I fear for you! Your children are grossly not seeing beyond the now, compromising the present and utterly destroying whats left of your pitiable future.

There's still but a slight hope for you, your fate lies in the hands of you children. I fear for you

the boy who claimed that his motive was to waste time, in my books i find his confession a bit hard to swallow. Did he make this confession out of is free will or was he coerced to do so?

As regards his initial motive, did he come up with it himself or did some people suggest it to him?

Also its a bit odd that he's passing out on a lifetime opportunity of cash by filling an assault and trauma suit against Hazard

Okay so my conclusions:

1. The police college is a mess
2. There was an ETF Loan of about 2Billion Naira, what happened to it?
3. How did John Momoh get in since this was an unannounced visit?
4. The President has seen this, so what next?
5. Channels TV covered a problem when would other TV stations create their own documentary about other social problems e.g Education, Unemployment, Housing etc Thereby generating enough noise for all to see.

Programming / Phonegap Issue by adewaleafolabi(m): 10:10am On Jan 18, 2013
Okay,
I stumbled on PhoneGap plus Adobe Build Service some months ago and it seemed as if I discovered Gold(You know that feeling), no more waitinting to compile, i can just write once coupled with jQuery mobile and simply do a cloud build, no more SDK etc.

Its a simple app that's was just supposed to load contacts from a phone and do some manipulations to the number. Simple right

Everything was going on well till this sick issue came up. For some really really weird reason, the application works well on the Blackberry simulator but not on phones sinces i tested it on a couple of phones.

I initially thought it was the jquery mobile that was causing the problem, removed it an made a totally simple version still yet this evil repeats the same thing.I upgraded my version of phoneGap (Cordova), downloaded Blackberry Works and compiled myself added signkeys, phone asks for permission after install, grants it, still contacts don't load.

So has anyone had this experience or did something like this with phoneGap and works?

//Loading methods I used
//Meth I
var x = "";
document.addEventListener("deviceready", onDeviceReady, false);

// Cordova is ready
//
function onDeviceReady() {

var options = new ContactFindOptions();
options.filter = "";
options.multiple = true;
var filter = ["displayName", "name", "phoneNumbers"];
navigator.contacts.find(filter, onSuccess, onError, options);
}

// onSuccess: Get a snapshot of the current contacts
var generatedlist = '<ul id="phonebook" data-inset="true" data-role="listview" data-filter="true" data-filter-placeholder="Search people..." data-filter-theme="d" data-theme="c" data-dividertheme="d">';
var addBook1 ="TIMBOLO";
function onSuccess(contacts) {

var emptyLI = true;//

for (var i = 0; i < contacts.length; i++) {
emptyLI = false;
var tempno = "";

for (var j = 0; j < contacts[i].phoneNumbers.length; j++) {
if (contacts[i].phoneNumbers[j].value != undefined && contacts[i].phoneNumbers[j].value != ""wink {
tempno = contacts[i].phoneNumbers[j].value;
break;
}

}
generatedlist += "<li><input type='checkbox' class='phonenos custom' id='phonenos" + i + "' data-mini='true' value='" + tempno + "'/><label for='phonenos" + i + "' >" + contacts[i].name.formatted + "</label></li>";
//alert(addBook1 += "Name:" + contacts[i].name.formatted + " | " +tempno);

}
if (emptyLI) {
generatedlist += "<li>No Phone Contacts</li>";
}
generatedlist += '</ul>';

}

// onError: Failed to get the contacts
//
function onError(contactError) {
alert('onError!');
}

//Meth II

function findContacts() {
var filterText = "";
navigator.contacts.find(
['name', 'emails', 'addresses', 'organizations'],
function(contacts) {
var msg = 'Found ' + contacts.length + ' contacts.';
navigator.notification.alert(msg, null, 'Success');
},
function(error){alert(error)},
{
multiple: true, filter: filterText
}
);
}

NB: It doesn't even alert if theres an error, also i tried this in the ripple emulator and it loads the contacts. What am i doing wrong here?

Same problem here, my University sent my transcript on the 18th of December 2012 and when i checked Canada post i got A grey bar - "A grey Accepted bar indicates your domestic item has been submitted electronically, but not yet received at a postal facility. If your item is international, it is en route to Canada."

To make matters a bit complex am out of Lagos for now and seriously just can understand why anything that involves Nig. Government must be problematic. My school sent another transcript to another through courierplus and it has delivered. Please always insist that they shouldn't send your documents through EMS/NIPOST to prevent headache oh.

@Demaejy
Thanks for the International Mail Processing Centre info, I'd send someone to help me track it.

Okija_juju: Nigerians will not vote for him.. reason being that we are a very judgemental set of people..

We would however vote for a man with a fully tribally scarred face.. as if that isn't worse than a tattoo

Una no go kill person oh grin Really NL just cracks me up +10 for you guys

Okay really would i vote for him? Maybe, depends on what other candidates are offering too but since he's pro-education (I believe functional education is the pathway to enlightenment) and a bit weird (Weirdos are good sometimes) he might just get my vote.

Programming is an art like no other. You have to communicate with your inner self and let the chi flow from within, passing through from your imagination to your reasoning.

It takes patience to achieve oneness with these layers of your "selves". ANd it takes patience for your Art to mature and be appreciated.

May the force be with you!
