World Bank and IMF are failure institutions. A country with talent like Nigeria should have an independent and superior point of view like Iran, India, Russia, China . We are too weighty to be pushovers . This is a good thing. All Nigeria needs is some DEVELOPMENT ECINOMICS not financial complexities that are not adding value.

Oil prices are rising because of production freeze and Buhari making the case to Saudi Arabia and GCC that Nigeria, Venezuela and even Russia need the price at a certain differential from the cost of production. I think Buhari's many travels are yielding dividends if oil price starts trending up in summer.

Buhari went to the North during campaigns and promised textile manufacturers, tanneries and agro allied industries a boom . The financing to do that is coming from the GCC countries. They need to grow the northern middle class and develop the north east. Only a bunch of narrow minded, parochial , local people don't realise that things are happening . My message to IPOB, you will soon see what the North can be in a few years and they wont use oil money.
