Back then things were hard, and food was costly, especially meat.

Death from "self-inflicted wound" is probably the preliminary word for doing drugs but yet to be fully confirmed and revealed officially. It reminds me of how the death of late Whitney Houston was reported as a bathroom accident until it was later revealed that she had cocaine overdose that led to suicide which the official version they referred to as accidental drowning in the bathroom after cocaine overdose that impaired her heart. .

Ministry of sports and Ministry of youths have a long Way to go in this country.

Aside football, they have not done anything special to attract investors into other sporting activities in Nigeria .

Most athletes train themselves without support.
And we also have many categories Nigeria don't participate in at all and we'll be expecting to top medal tables.

E.g swimming, when will Governors start charging their Commissioners of sports to scout for talents. I visited few riverine cities in South South years back and saw little children diving and swimming without life jackets.

We have talents but no leaders and guidance.

Hello people.
I'm in my early twenties in a tertiary institution. I am this gentle guy that is mostly quiet.
I noticed that there are many financially okay guys as young as I am that are doing well unlike me. Now, I'm talking about the ones hustling legitimately.

I also want to be okay financially, but they tend to share information only with those they are close to.
There were updates about Arbitraging, Web 3 airdrop and testnet stuff that I only got to hear when it was too late.
I talk to these guys, roll with them, but they never see me as close enough to carry me along.

Even for those freelancing, they know techniques to get orders fast and constantly but will not share with me. One said I should bring 250k when I'm ready to start freelancing. I don't even have 50k in my name.
Whenever I tell them to "show me way" knowing they do legit stuffs, they tell me they too are looking for way.

Growing up, I was restricted so I suck at making friends and socializing. I have been trying to get better since I left secondary school but my social skills barely improved.

I researched online on my own to get updates but many were scam, overpriced classes/courses e.t.c. Though I have picked up a skill to learn but before I get good and start earning, I'll need sustenance.

Is it too late to improve my social skills in my early twenties? If no, how?
How can I move from just acquaintances to a friend that can be carried along in important things?

Nigerian film actor Femi Brainard has opened up about life while living abroad. The thespian granted an interview with Teju Oyelakin, aka, Teju Babyface on his podcast.

Speaking on the perks as well as the disadvantages attached to relocating abroad, especially being a celebrity, Femi Brainard said it is better to be celebrated and be a prince in Nigeria than to move abroad and be a nobody. He also noted that his wife does not love it at all.

While speaking with the comedian, Brainard noted that anytime he is driving, his Nigerian passengers in particular can’t help but stare at him in disbelief and wonder if he is the star they know.


The actor added that the curious ones would approach him to be sure he was the famous actor they knew in Nigeria.

Femi Brainard said the bills are a lot and he has things like rent to think about. The actor who celebrated his 10th wedding anniversary in May of 2023 explained that he was so broke to an extent once that he went to the parking lot and burst into tears.
