Thandiubani: True Story About Ghanaian Pastor Bathing Church Members During Crossover Night
By Alexander Thandi Ubani
Following viral reports of a pastor bathing church members in a basin to cleanse them of evil spirits and welcome them into the new year in order to prosper, I decided to research more about the so-called pastor.
My findings
I found out that the man seen in the viral video is known as Mark Mensah, CEO of Phens Multimedia, a media organization based in Ghana. He is popularly called Pastor Blinks. I also found out that the man is not even a pastor but a skit-maker who deliberately make videos mocking pastors and the Christian faith. The videos are edited and published as if it happened in real life without any hint to viewers that it’s a skit. Many people watch the videos, curse pastors believing that what they watched actually happened.
In fact, he had in the past shared a video claiming to be a pastor and touching the private part of his members. There is also a video of him giving his so-called church members a drink from the water he used to bath. He has also appeared in a video posing as a pastor and praying for a woman’s underwear.
Sometime ago, Prophet Osei Kumchaha called on the police to arrest Mensah for ridiculing Christianity and putting out offensive contents about pastors as if it happened in real life without providing information to viewers that it was all acted. The prophet said Mensah profits by making offensive video while portraying himself as a man of God, then post the videos on his YouTube handle (hitzGH tv) for people to click, argue and make offensive comments about Christianity while he makes cool money.
I stumbled on his YouTube page where I saw him asking people if they think the video was real or acted. He then went ahead to show how he made the video. Note, this is after he had posted an edited version of the video on Facebook and raked in millions of views from people who had thought the video was real.
Conclusion
There is nothing wrong in making skits about pastors, however there should be at least a disclaimer to warn people that such sensitive videos are not real. Making such videos to ridicule, mock and misinform people about Christianity at a time they are celebrating Christmas is an evil act.
The videos misinform people, rile them against Christianity, make them question their religion, subject their faith to ridicule and incite the public against their beliefs.
Thank you for clearing the air but the nuisance most so-called self acclaimed pastors are constituting is the reason for such madness I dare him to try Islam let see if the country will not boil.

Aufbauh: People who commit this kind of crime are normally defiant and unabashed. They care less about the authority and are ready to damn the consequences.

CallMeDrino: Skit maker Cute Abiola on Monday shared a video of his mum shedding tears of joy over his return after his naval ordeal, Igbere TV reports.
The funnyman shared the video in an Instagram story.
In the video, the woman is seen rolling on the floor as she gives thanks to God for bringing her son back to her.
The comedian was arrested on November 15, 2021, for wearing a police uniform in one of his skits and for ridiculing the Nigeria Police Force in the process.
He was, however, was given a light punishment of a ‘one-month extra duty’ after a military trial, according to naval spokesperson, Commodore Suleman Dahun.

Sammydanny: This is the video that has emerged online purportedly capturing the incident leading to the collapse of a female clubber at Abuja Club, Hustle & Bustle.
The incident, which led to the death of the lady, has been generating controversy.
Recall that following the incident, the club shut down its operation in order to join the family to mourn the deceased.
It had initially been circulated in the media that the lady was electrocuted.
But a trending video has now revealed what happened to the clubber on the said day.
We wish to thank our esteemed patrons and customers for their love and support these last couple of days. Indeed, the loss of a customer is a blow that hit us harder than we could have imagined, particularly because of the unexpected nature of her demise.
We want to extend our heartfelt sympathy once more to the family of the deceased; we pray that the almighty God will continue to grant them the fortitude to bear this painful loss.
Despite the myriad of question and assumptions out in the public, we had earnestly refrained from making any statement until this moment for two reasons; mainly because we had to join the family and friends to mourn a beautiful life that was taken too soon, and to enable the police to extensively conduct and carry out their investigations.
It therefore behooves on us at this moment to inform the generally public of these series of facts;
1. On the 14th of November 2021, a dear customer whilst leaving our premises, tripped and fell and this led to her painful and untimely death.
2. Owing to this tragedy, our management reached a decision to shut down our business so as to adequately mourn the deceased, and also allow the police unfettered access to conduct their investigations.
3. On that fateful morning, the deceased after leaving the club, was happily playing around with her friends, when she made a slight run, tripped and fell down a few meters to the car park and became unconscious. Sadly, she passed on, on their way to the hospital.
4. The Nigerian Police Force have extensively carried out their investigations and thoroughly reviewed our wide and lengthy CCTV footages and we await the report of this investigation.
We assure the public that we have employed several health and safety standards and we will continue to place safety over profit. We have also used this bitter lesson to upgrade our already decent safety procedures and we would do our utmost best to continue to serve as a leader in this sector.
thebosstrevor1: Because managing people isn't easy. The pressure on leaders is also a problem.
Everyone want a piece of them, some times, you have to be hard on those type of people.
Anyway, there are also people who become power drunk when they get to a place of authority, apart from them, to be sincere, you can not be nice and be in leadership, you will taken for a ride.
Managing people is easy when the most important thing is in place that is why it's called power. Pls don't join people that unconsciously accept Radom sayings without thoroughly researching those sayings.
Let me give you an instance, there are few issues in my compound and my landlord lives there yet did nothing but if I am the landlord (Power) I shall deal with the issues.
distinguish: We have been married for a year now. We have been trying to conceive. Because of the emotional stress attached my wife said she can't be staying at home alone, it causes her stress. She said she wants to start doing something. At least a business.
I took a loan from my place of work and we started the business for over 2 months now. The issue now is that, I don't always have cash on me anymore. Any little money I got it's for the business. Basically, we mostly feed from the business.
Yesterday, after we returned home, she started giving me attitude, I asked her what the issue was, she started telling me how I am killing the business, not taking good care of her, not having money to take care of her and all sort of rubbish, she brought out how incompetent I am as a husband and what have you. I never said a word to reply her and its eating me up seriously, I could not sleep the whole night. This is the person that I sacrificed a lot for. I was supposed a take a professional course this November, but because of her I had to postpone it.
Please I need your advice.
PS: I did not eat the food she prepared last night.
You married calamity it's better conception don't come now until you straighten your family life.
proxitaly: Make we hear There are myriads of jobs where you can't add any other tangible value than what you are employed to do. Imagine telling a bank teller to add value. Also, most Nigerian jobs differ little from slavery. You're being paid 50k in today's economy and work 7 to 7. Which other value you wan add?
presidency: The EFCC, on Monday November 15, 2021 flagged-off a nationwide risk assessment of Non-profit Organizations. The programme which is a collaborative initiative of the EFCC through the Special Control Unit against Money Laundering, SCUML, and relevant stakeholders in the public and private sectors, according to the EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, is meant to determine the vulnerabilities of the organizations to money laundering and terrorism financing.
While noting the increase in Non-profit Organization activities in Nigeria especially in the North East, where the country is challenged by a humanitarian crisis created by Boko Haram, he observed that the absence of a unified comprehensive regulatory and supervisory framework for the sector remains a source of worry for the authorities. This gap, and Nigeria’s performance in the last Mutual Evaluation Exercise where the country received a non-compliant rating in FATF’s Recommendation 8, (that requires a review of the adequacy of laws and regulations that relate to Non- profit Organizations), provides the impetus for the NRA.

duro4chang: Go and bury him or embalm him in his room.
The fact is go and bury him until he starts throwing family members in pieces then you people will not even remember the family issues. It might also be because of the said family issues so go and bury him ASAP.
starbuck: They should have been considerate at least.. Deporting him was too harsh of a punishment because I doubt if they will be able to encounter his kind again in that country
Vulcanheph: I really felt for him, I'll bet he was thinking that after his selfless act , the government will reward him with papers.
As long as they was no form of identification in the bag containing the money he should have kept it for himself (maybe that was Good sending him blessings).
He knew fairly well that he didn't have any documents but still went to a police station. The Spanish Government has done something bad to themselves because this will cause any illegal immigrant from doing any selfless acts in the future.
FreeStuffsNG: Please how did Madam Abike kill her or government of Nigeria responsiblle for her case that had gone through the Ivory coast legal system that convicted her ? These Francophone countries have something with their legal system and this is same thing with Sunday Igboho. Nigeria requested that he be extradited to Nigeria but they insisted that there is a legal infraction on their sovereign laws and will allow their justice system run its course. Knowing how Abike tries to help Nigerians in diaspora even after repeatedly warning us all not to go to hostile countries or get entangled in the legal system of their host nations, you are here still blaming an innocent woman. Do you think if Abike has the power to immediately free her, she won't? Please it's more of the legal system of Cote d'Ivoire to blame and even in death, she can still pursue justice. So we should urge government not to allow the case end with her demise. Government of Nigeria did not kill or watch her die and those who set her up will still reap the evil they sowed, government or no government. It's unfortunate that it's the same people who can fight for her even after death are the ones you have started accusing wrongly. Abike has the heart of Gold and will be completely devastated at her inability to annul the ivorien court judgement that already sentenced her to years in prison for human trafficking.
Thank you, when she went to police ( the law) knowing her own status, after she has been apologized to and even offer settlement on top of that knowing the boy is connected with the way African uses power and position in fact she heard it from the connection himself who should have distance himself from such case, sense should have told her the boy is probably working for the connection. I don't sympathies with stupidity. Life is not funfair.
Valwezzy: The landlord should sue the court in their court too for defaulting on the payment agreement...
Just that, the lawyers and judges will have to convene outside the court building or go to another court for a hearing...It'll be fun if he can pull this off
Imagine the court was locked by the same court other.
In my own opinion, I feel it is the full responsibilities of every man, to foot every bills in your home, you claim to be the head and as the head you should always be responsible and not shy away from your responsibilities..
It is only broke men that fight their wives to share mans responsibilities, if you are not capable to take up your sole responsibility, please remain single..
You can't see Dangote or Femi Otedola splitting bills at home with their wife..
Your woman can only support you at her own will without being told to do so....
