It is possible, if the pupils overall scores are very close
If 10 students score 100 in a subject they will be awarded 1st position
If 10 students score 99 their position will be 11th
If the remaining score 98 theirs will be 21st.
I guess this might have happened
Plus it might be the different subject teachers gave grades to the students, hence the errors in the subject grade

This is elementary mathematics and the teacher failed woefully.

You can't be having less than third position in subject average ranking and not have same range in class average ranking.

Thank you! If 20 pupils scored 100 percent in a subject, then the next pupil to score 99 percent would come 21st in that subject. I am certain that is exactly what is playing out here.

First what you're describing warrants getting a physical and blood work done from your physician...The homosexual curiosities aside..your overall sexual dysfunction should be addressed and it is likely hormonal or a result of depression...I strongly recommend this...

If nothing turns up then I recommend getting a referral from the doc for counseling...It will be a huge help to have someone there to talk to and process what's going on...
