Soundminded: Good day my friends Please advise me, I recently got a government teaching slot in a primary school, where I would probably earn 70k for a start ,but where I work presently in a private school where I teach government I earn 100k as basic salary and private lessons give me 40k monthly
Should I quit the private school for a government school? For job security
I can advice you to go for public school because you’ll have time to organize extra lessons for some students which can earn you extra token also, you’ll be giving loan by the government, pension still available for you after your 35 years of service. Public school can also make you to run for other things Don’t think of present situation in private school, public is more reliable and have good ending then public Thanks
Felimax: I love my wife so much, she was just one in a billion.
The way we started and the dreams and projects ahead of us will not allow us to get deterred by our same genotype.
We are both AS and right now we are blessed with an angel and three handsome princes.
My sister rejected her AS genotype husband to be and ran after an AA genotype man who she later married bad as it is they have been married for like six years now but no child.
My marriage of seven years is blessed with four kids already.
Bottom line - go to your God and talk to Him about it. PLEASE DON'T SHOUT, DON'T SHOUT when you are talking to your God. If you shout you will hardly hear Him talking to you..
He will tell you your next line of action. Marriage is of God not man.
Have you done genotype for your children? You must surely have SS in that four children if their is no SS all the children might not be your own.
Blueace247: Good morning Dear friends and fellow Etisalat users,
I am writing this post today to share my recent harrowing experience with the Etisalat network, which left me without a reliable connection for a staggering 24 hours. This unfortunate incident has not only caused immense frustration but has severely impacted my work and productivity.
Last week, I had topped up my data plan with a substantial sum of 10,000 naira, hoping to have uninterrupted access to the internet for my professional and personal needs. However, to my dismay, the Etisalat network suffered a major outage, leaving me and countless other users stranded without any indication of when it would be resolved.
The lack of official communication during the prolonged downtime only added to the mounting frustration. Customers, like myself, were left in the dark, without any updates or reassurances from the service provider. As a result, many of us resorted to other means like using VPNs, spending money on alternative data plans from different providers, or facing a complete disruption of our daily routines and businesses.
During this period, I had no choice but to rely on Stark VPN, a free virtual private network service, because I couldn't afford to purchase additional data for my other SIM card. The stress of managing work tasks, personal responsibilities, and the unexpected expenses added to the burden of the network failure.
It is disheartening to note that despite being loyal customers, our priorities have been jeopardized by the lack of preparedness and communication from Etisalat. As customers, we deserve to be treated with transparency and respect, especially when faced with such a significant disruption in service.
I strongly urge Etisalat and other telecommunication companies to implement a more efficient customer notification system for such situations. Timely official updates can alleviate customer frustration and help them make informed decisions. We should not be left to feel abandoned and helpless during network outages, especially after investing significant amounts in data plans.
As technology becomes an essential part of our lives, we rely on network providers to keep us connected and ensure smooth work and personal communication. An outage of this magnitude not only affects our productivity but also raises concerns about the reliability of the service.
I sincerely hope that Etisalat and other providers take this incident as an opportunity to improve their services and customer support. As users, we deserve better accountability and timely solutions when things go wrong. I call upon Etisalat to take immediate action, compensate affected customers appropriately, and implement measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
Let us stand together as customers and demand the quality service we pay for and deserve. Together, we can drive positive change in the telecommunications industry and ensure that our needs are met with utmost consideration.

Alexxx2000: Good day, all. I am typing this with a lot of frustration and anger.
I was among the volunteers asked by this NGO (name withheld ) to serve as an ENUMERATOR. They told me it was a paid volunteer. We were trained in data collection using ODK and Kobotoolbox.
As a student, I had planned how I will use this stipend of 20k to provide my basic needs in school because I have no one sponsoring me.
My section does go out to collate these data on Fridays and Saturdays. Now to the issue!
Just yesterday made it a month and I was expecting the money to get foodstuffs and save like 5k for my next school fees. The program director for North Central told me that I am not entitled to a stipend because the role I am working on is just volunteering and not paid.
I was shocked because when I was told and made to sign a term of agreement it was clearly stated that I will receive a 20k monthly stipend. I then asked them to show me the document and I was surprised to see the term of the agreement was uttered.
What should I do nairalanders to get my money or should I continue without pay to get experience as an enumerator for the outside world?
Please Nlfpmod help me get a wider view. I am in a state of dilemma.
My brother don’t continue anything they are scammers Just accept the loose and move on with your life

Godjone: Yoruba na yoruba. They can never change. This man that speaks terrible things about APC in the past is the one romancing and dinning with the APC. Shameless people
Keep wailing around Yoruba will rule you for 8 good years
9jvirgin: Tinubu is an illegitimate president. Whatever sits on falsehood, shall fall. Without Peter Obi, there shall never be progress for the people of Nigeria.
Oga personalize your cause to you and your family why would say there shall not be progress for the people of Nigeria ? Because your preferred candidate did not win ? Oga personalize the cause on your generation
TermuxDarkWeb: Nonsense. This man is crossing his bandry, first it was the innocent CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele and is EFCC chairman. He's creating Lifetime enemies, but it will surely hit him hard. Am not surprised it's government of Yourba he wants to fix only Yourba Muslims in higher positions. NONSENSE
So Emefiele was innocent? Funny you despite all what he did. You need to get things right
Bonimoney: Warm greetings to everyone. Am bothered and I really need your help😭
I did my ND at Federal polytechnic Mubi Adamawa state, graduated from MASS COMMUNICATION department (2012-15) NATIONAL DEPLOMA and things were not rosy so I stayed back to hustle.
After I gathered the little I could, I applied for HND MASS COMM. @ Plateau State Polytechnic but was given SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT and o thought if I stay till another year, I will squander the money I had so I accepted the admission with the sore aim of applying for change of course which eventually didn't work out bcox the ICT will not even listen to me.
Right now, am a graduate in the same social Development.
A friend just informed me I can not serve because NYSC do not collect different department in both ND & HND.
You can serve my brother, all the best don’t let anyone discourage you
What’s that so special in Abuja that they are overhyping . So if you lose other states and you win Abuja so you don become president Mumu people that flocks together
Lmao😝😝. Everyone knows that Tinubu didn't meet the requirements to be declared, but since he's my tribesman, we will defend him even if it's unconstitutional
DenreleDave: Does foreign universities paste their students result on their department board like it is done here in Nigeria. As in, do you think they should change the system by introducing online results checking..

PaNnamdi: My younger brother studying biochemistry at the University of Benin have had about 5 carry overs. Now he is in his third year, and he is seriously depressed. I have seriously reprimanded him and also consoled him but I don't want him to spill and based on the fact that when am in school I never had issues like this, I decided to bring this online.
Is it possible for him to drop some of the mandatory courses in his department(note not core courses o,but mandatory courses) to accommodate for the carry over courses he had.
Please I need legit answers from those who are experienced in issues like this.
Mod u can place or more this to the rightful thread, Some might still be passing through this situation too in silent.
Bro did you ask your brother weather he can study that course? Not about dropping some mandatory courses but did he fit in for the course ? I guess he was forced or he might copy any of his friends doing the course. Maybe he can dropout and go for another course that is not widen as biochemistry
A viral video emerged from the social media where an Apostle identified as Kassy Chukwu of Peniel International Church preaching from the Pulpit told his church members that the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TINUBU ought to have been poisoned by his wife because he was too old to be the president of Nigeria, SOJ WORLDWIDE reported.
Fake prophets plenty for 9ja
"How wish Jagaban wife poisoned Jagaban we for no dey do all these thing we dey do so, I no say make Im wife poison am o, I no say make she no still poison am. Old man cannot lead us, old man cannot lead us."
He added that if the woman added small poison, Jagaban would not have witnessed the primary election.
