Pele just told me what i've always known. Messi is the greatest footballer ever. Of course due to bias, he placed himself as number one.

First, let me acknowledge that Sandra Eze has right of movement but walking out of the live program was unprofessional and huge disrespect to her co-presenters, the viewers and her employers. Sandra is not as cerebral and critical as Tope Mark-Odigie but she applies professionalism. One day, Sandra will own a TV show or TV stations and I will see if she will applaud and promote an employee who walks out on her live program.

Second, let me also acknowledge that Sandra Eze has right of expression but not respecting the corporate interest of your employer is pure SABOTAGE. TVC gave her platform for fame and experience. If an election was up in a few days and somebody made a careless statement that would damage the political fortune of your employer and you were told not to escalate the sensitive issue, why go ahead and escalate? Even Agatha Amata's TV she is currently working with was funded by ex-governor Uduaghan. So, will they spare her if she deliberately did anything that would damage his political fortune?

A typical illustration is the fact that many people who disagree with #EndSars protest organizers' tactics are exercising restraint to criticize because of far reaching consquences of damaging the gains made and being seen as enemy of the youths. That's wisdom which Sandra lacks.

The truth is people should learn to accept consequences of their actions without blaming others.
It was unprofessional for her o walk of a live set. However, i'm more concerned with the fact that in TVC, they always seem to be walking on egg shells when talking about particular people due to political allegiance. Telling them not to talk about the Oba of Lagos's statement about the Igbos was unprofessional since it was a trending issue at the time.

We must learn to speak the truth no matter how much it hurts. I have fixed the first paragragh appropriately.

Laycon's supporters all over the country have no problem. The major problem this season is from a group of people who don't want Laycon to win and are willing to go to any extent to stop his victory or discredit the show if he wins. They are the people we should call out and i am sure you know a few of them. Some of them have been doing everything possible to derail and tribalise this thread since they noticed Laycon's popularity. Good enough, ICONS did not play into their hands.

It is also very wrong to insinuate that Only Yoruba celebrities are supporting Laycon. In as much as there is no big deal in Yoruba celebrities supporting Laycon, it is not a correct claim. Regina Daniels, Samklef etc are diehard Laycon supporters. Erica and Kiddwaya also have so many celebrities that are not their tribe supporting them. Cubana chief priest is arguably the most popular BBN inflencer and he supported Ozo and prince simply because they are from Imo. So, should we also be concerned that Cubana's annual support for strictly Imo (Igbo) housemates may become a trend?
Quote where i said only Yoruba celebrities are supporting Laycon. I even said that most Nigerians from the 36 states of Nigeria are supporting Laycon more than any housemate.

Cubana chief priest started it....
The guy came out saying he's doing all he can to svae his "owerri" brothers Ozo and Prince. Even went as far as donating millions. Mind you this same person did same for Mercy who is an Igbo person from Imo state. No one saw it as bad. Out of the previous winners half of them are Igbo. Now a Yoruba person is supported by other yorubas it's tribalism??
I'm Edo and I'm supporting Laycon cause he makes me proud and shows selflessness, humility, love (even to those who swore to kill him), intelligence and talent, how do you expect him not to be liked by lots of people.
Even Igbo people are supporting Laycon. Even here on this thread, but I've seen a certain person with five monikers running around here insulting Laycon using the word 'Ikorodu' to belittle him I didn't see your outrage. Now someone just mentioned 'Omo Igbo' all Icons are tribal bigots.

We're not bigots, bigotry and body shaming and toxicity started from a certain sect here who troll him with their ignorance on his genotype too. So live with it that Laycon is loved unconditionally.

Love and light.

P.S this is officialice the other moniker is cooling off in kuje grin
Cubana did not start it, he's just a part of it. It's just because he's loud that you noticed him. He has always been known to support mostly only people from Imo state because he prides himself as an Imo ambassador.

You didn't seem to read my post, you just came here to argue.

Abum onye Igbo..nwa Imo state, mbaise to be precise

Saying it that way with my dialect isn't tribalistic

But don't you fv.cking call me "Omo Igbo" in a degrading tone...some says it disgustingly like "Omo Igbo"
There are so many derogatory things Nigeria do or say but just because the literal meaning is not derogatory, they latch on to it to continue being stupid. The term "Omo Igbo" simple means "Igbo Child" but that's not what some people think about when they say it. There's a tone to it just like how NIgerians call Hausa people "Aboki".
TV/MoviesRe: BBNaija 2020 Live Updates Thread by Afam4eva(m): 1:52pm On Sep 24, 2020
I still maintain that Big Brother Naija is the only thing in Nigeria that i've seen with little or no tribalism. Even though this year seems like the year with a little more tribal jingoism and i think it's mainly because of some of the people that are supporting LAYCON.

There's nothing wrong with LAYCON winning and infact i predicted him to win in the second week even though i was supporting ERICA and i think right now, he deserves it.

However, i noticed that just for the fact that he's Yoruba, a lot of Yoruba people especially celebrities who don't even watch the show have gone out of their way to support him. I'm just concerned that this might become a trend. Let's not forget that Laycon is the most supported housemates in all the 36 states of NIgeria and is everyone's choice. But the tribalism though.

When Efe, Miracle or Mercy won, there was little or no tribal ish. People just liked them for who they were irrespective of tribe. Laycon is also liked by majority of people. But there are some few bad eggs that want to turn the thing to something else. There's also a group of people who don't want Laycon to win just because he's not from their tribe. It's really embarrassing.

LadyExcellency:
Ambode was ambushed. He had no slightest intelligence on what was to strike him until it was too late.

Had he knew about the sabotage. He would've started early to form and build his own coalition using Lagos State war chest and money in anticipation for the fight against Tinubu just as Godwin Obaseki did.

Tinubu tactically ignored the confrontation stage and card that Oshemohle played early.
He was Ambushed in APC not in Lagos. The average Lagosian was not a part of this ambush and they were the target audience and he had the advantage being the sitting governor.
PoliticsWhy Ambode Could Have Defeated Tinubu - My Opinon by Afam4eva(op): 11:55am On Sep 22, 2020
I saw the thread where the OP stated reasons why Ambode could not fight Tinubu and i'm here with a rebuttal. https://www.nairaland.com/6134535/obasekis-victory-why-ambode-couldnt

Most people I come across with the school of thought espoused by the OP of that thread are almost always either Tinubu supporters or APC supporters.

Everything espoused on that thread in one way had something to do with APC as a party rather than Lagos state-.

Yes, we know Tinubu controlled all the APC machinery which is why even Ambode's deputy did not support him and it was expected.

However, what Tonubu did not and does not have on the palm of his hand are Lagosians which will be the ones to vote at the end of the day.

If Lagosians decide to support Ambode, there's nothing anyone can do about it not even Tinubu.

The feelers i got amongst Lagosians when this was going on is that what Tinubu was doing to Ambode was not fair and that Ambode had tried his best for Lagos state.

So, if Ambode had decided to fight Tinubu, he had more chance of winning than losing. He had Lagosians behind him and had nothing to lose because he had already lost in APC.

All he needed to do was to jump ship to another party and what is the worse that can happen assuming he lost?

It's also very funny how people allude so much power to Tinubu when in fact, Lagos has always had a keenly contested election except for that time that Fashola was returning and people voted him because he had done exceptonally. Other times PDP had always gotten 35% to 45% of the votes -despite battling the powers that be.

So, in conclusion, Ambode was a coward and ran away from a fight that he had an upper hand on being s sitting governor. I hope he will go and meet Obaseki to teach him how to deal with a godfather. Unfortunately, it's one thing to learn and it is another thing to have the will power to go through with it.

I like the whole idea of Ofala but i've always thought it to be an Anambra thing but in recent times, i have seen it spread to other parts of Igboland. Even my village in Enugu now does Ofala. Which supports what i've always believed in.

What we call Igbo culture such as Ofala, Iri Ji (New Yam Festival) or Ogene music is usually not something that all Igbos do but most Igbos seem to be embracing them and these practices are beginning to be a universal Igbo thing.

Actually, this is not a list of the best Ogene musicians. Rather it's a list of Ogene musicians that you need to know if you don't already know them. They're my favourites at the moment,

Ogene is a style of Igbo music consisting of, and taking its name from, the ogene instrument, which is a large metal bell.[1] The Ogene instrument has historically been made by the Igbo people of Nigeria. It is one of the most important metal instruments of the people.

-Wikipedia

Now, here's a few of them.

1. Ejyk Mwaba - I like this guy because he's the most forward forward thinking among all Ogene musicians that i know because of how he brings his talent to Social Media especially Youtube and Instagram. I also like his Enugu flair of Ogene which in my opinion is the best.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBdvAD_s6hA

2. Jajaja : This is another top Ogene Musician and he's reputed to be the best in Enugu State and probably the whole of Igboland.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1QnDbDJfu8&t=1s

3. Ausuma Malaika: He's one of the best Ogene musicians in Anambra. Him and his crew are based in Awka. I also like the fact that e has a Youtube Channel.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5Wun24tQDI

4 Opanka Ogene: This is anotehr great Ogene musician from Enugu
