This Nigerian or African host are nothing to write home about.
Especially web4africa , I would advice you steer clear of them. They can't propagate a settings on time, dont get me started on their response to ticket, I bet the coming of Jesus would arrive before they reply you and guess what? They have not fixed the problem.

I use Namecheap to buy most of my domains and i use GTB naira card. I believe most other Naira cards should work. If it doesn't work then just choose Paypal as the payment method and it should work.

As far as Nigerian hosts are concerned, i think it just depends on the host company in question. I can attest to the fact that the services offered by Web4Africa has depreciated greatly and one of the major setbacks when using Web4Africa and lot of Nigerian hosts is the poor support system.

I concur with you just that what comes to my mind now is the Igbo APC aspirant at Ojo and Amuwo Odofin will win because the votes would still come from the majority residing there who happens to be Igbo indigenes.

I won't argue with you about the emboldened because it's something you believe deeply without comparing the supposed accomodation to those of the other regions. Just because Yorubas are not going to the east enmasse does not mean that the east is less accommodating. It;s also pertinent to note that whenever people talk about the accommodating nature of Yorubas, a lot of times, they're referring to Lagos as everywhere else other than Lagos are one and the same. You can believe whatever you want to believe. Whatever i say won't change a thing. Nigerians are the same, whether Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba. Someone who tries to contest in a place that he is not indegenous to will definitely raise eyebrows and people will talk. But the constitution gives anyone the right to contest for a political post irrespective of where the person comes from. The Hausa man who wants to contest is doing so because he has been given the support by indegenes of the place. So, what anyone says on the internet is hogwash. Every state in Nigeria is guilty of tribalism, so don't lay it at the doorstep of Igbos alone. Even Lagos that is a cosmopolitan state is not left out else the political distribution would have reflected the demographic of the state. Though we can say Lagos is still more open than the remaining 35 states in the country.

Outsiders can't win anything in your village because your village is probably made up of 99% indegenes. In a democracy, minorities have their say but the majority have their way. The population of Igbos in the Festac/Ojo area is too numerous to be ignored. That's democracy for you.

Pls, for the sake of your pocket, don't pay anybody to teach you how to get instagram followers as there's no magic involved. It's pretty straight forward. I'll just reel out the basics.

I don't know if you've noticed, but Instagram and Twitter are currently the two most difficult social media sites to get followers. That's the reason you would not see a lot of Instagram and Twitter accounts up for sale like you would see facebook.

The easiest way to get followers on Instagram is by following a lot of people and i can assure you that atleast 40% will follow you back which is a win if you ask me. So, for instance, if you can follow 1000 people in a day, you will be followed back by atleast 400 people. The more the better. You can do this everyday for a few weeks and you'll be amazed by the results. But you have to be careful in order not to be flagged and subsequently banned. One way to do this is by following like 20 people per one minute break. That's way you'll not be seen as a spammer.

Another important thing is that while posting on your page, use popular hashtags such as #Nigeria or any currently trending topic as a hashtag. That way your posts are exposed to a lot more people.

So, are you willing to pay allmost 200k yearly even when your site is still small? That's not a smart move. The convention is that you grow as your site grows. Hosting companies will help you handle your migration no matter how big your site is.

People think that just becomes Google owns Blogger, that it ranks blogger sites higher than wordpress which is totally false. Although, because blogger is under the Google parent domain, a gains a lot of juice traction because Google has the highest Page Rank in the world which happens to the 10. So, every blogger site just has a bit of an advantage.

In terms of features, nairaland is a piece of cake. Almost every host on the planet can host a site like Nairaland. if it's based on traffic, Nigerian hosts are also equal to the task. But that would mean getting yourself a Virtual Private Server (VPS) or a Dedicated server which is what Nairaland currently uses. But if you hope to get a shared account with nairaland's idiosyncraies then forget it, whether Nigerian or a foreign host.
