bluejeff: Was there about 2 months ago when i went for my grandpa's burial in my village in obudu. Went on an okada bike with my cousin & it took us about an hour from obudu town to bottom hill at the ranch.

Even have pics & even a video. Don't know if to post it here or create a thread.

Nice looking scenery but those images are not new cos i've seen them in almost every picture of Obudu and i'm beginning to wonder how big Obudu Ranch is. I've also wondered why the trip from Calabar to Obudu is 8 hours except the road to Obudu is very bad or Obudu is in Cameroon. I've looked at the map and can't see why a trip within the same state in Nigeria is that long. This is not Texas we're talking about.

I registered 2011, if i am not mistaken, there are over 100 threads on only one topic, TITHE, it is disheartening with the way they called old men of God that are old enough to be their fathers , thieves, fraudster, and that they are teaching nonsense, the Bible says, we should respect elders, there is no courtesy,a good christian must have the fruit of the spirit, up till now, i keep asking, are they Christians or Atheist? Because a good christian will not call old men of God thieves, it is not possibe, but this is in the dictionary of Anti-tithers. It is what you respect that comes into your life, if you want to grow old, you should respect your elders in the Christiandom, they are not Jesus, but they are the respresentatives of God on earth

There are more than enough topics in the Bible, i beg all of them to stop this overflogged, overdebated, tithe issue on nairaland, in fact, the moderators should delete any topic on Tithe, it is a bad thing for this forum to fight against what the whole churches in Nigeria stood for, i mean paying of tithe, i understand that some churches may not preach about tithe, one thing is sure, they will NEVER stop anybody from paying tithe to them. They will accept it, directly or indirectly.

The question is why are people so desperate to stop tithing from all churches, this is an exercise in futility, a waste of time, an insult to Nigerian churches, and it is like they are playing on our inteligence.

You can deceive one person at a time, but it is difficult to deceive everybody at the same time. If you think that you are smart and you know Bible, i think as a wise person, you should know that other people are smart, wise, intelligent and have a great knowledge about the Bible.

This is the scenario, i believe a smart person that comes to this forum with his theology will take a great disposition and humble himself to listen to opposing view, but this is not the case on nairalan, they will insult you, call you names and make you to hate the forum.

The owner of the forum may think this argument is favourable to him, but he has forgotten that what goes round comes around, it is counterproductive, very soon people will not like to visit this forum again.

Anti-tithers on nairaland have been adopting different strategies to achieve their aims.

1. They used different ID's

2. They twist the scripture.

3. When they lost the arguement, they will result to insult.

4. They are very cunny.

Your comment is utterly embarrassing. While i don't support tithers or anti-tithers, i think everyone is entitled to make their opinion known whether you like it or now. If anyone sees the action of a man of God as contrary to what the scripture says, he's free to call the man of God out. There's no such thing as respect here cos you don't respect an armed robber that comes to your house to steal from you even if he's above 60 years. A thief is a thief. What you should endeavor to do it to use superior knowledge according to biblical assertions to counter the arguments of the tithers instead of threatening people.

Up until recently, restaurants were actually one of the few places NIgerians go to have fun. This weird cos i don't see how going to eat is fun. It should be part of the fun but not the fun. It';s still difficult to say who wins the league but by prediction i'll say Enyimba and Bayelsa United have a better chance to win it? Why? Enyimba is currently on top of the table with the same points as Kano Pillars but with a superior goal difference and will need to pick a draw when they go away to Sunshine in Akure and by winning their next home game. Even a loss in Akure and a win at home can still give them the title if Pillars loses their last away game and Bayelsa loses theirs too...As for Bayelsa they just need a home win in their next match and a draw in their away tie and they might be as good as winning the league.

I really don't think that Ethipia's goal should have stood because the ball did not cross the line. The referee only assumed that since Enyeama's leg was inside the goal, that automatically the ball was in also but not knowing that Enyeama's hand was outside the goal when he caught the ball.

Finally, we're getting high profile friendlies. We need to play at least 4 teams in the FIFA top 20 before the world cup to better prepare ourselves.

The only people i will recognize are those from the romance section Adaobi, Ogugua, Sexkills, achukwu, itsmodella etc. But the people i would have loved to give a sound knock are in the politics section and don't have their pictures on their profiles. I'll also not want someone to find me out first. I want to be the one to recognize dayokanu and not the other way around. I refuse to believe this but if it's true then APC is more politically naive than i thought. How can you select a VP from a zone that has strong APC roots and will most likely vote for APC irrespective of the candidate? Isn't it redundant to present a VP from the SW? Why not use the VP position to woo votes from a section where APC doesn't have strong roots.

Is it about what i think or what the bible says? Personally i don't follow everything that's in the bible. If as a man, i start having some serious problems with my wife, i will file for a divorce cos i like my sanity. So, no, i won't encourage my sister to remain in an abusive relationship but the bible is clear on issues like that.
