bukatyne: So you think the where the world was in 1700 is the way it is save Nigeria? If i get your comment, i don't expect us to remain the way we were but our culture is gradually being eroded and in no distant future, the only thing that will be cultural about us, is our skin color. Let's take it jeje and also export our culture to other parts of the world and not always being the one importing. |
ammyluv2002: you are welcome ...keep me posted oI will ![]() |
Briareos: Suitsis "The Wire" not the one that was done in Baltimore with one Nigerian actor like that? |
ammyluv2002: ArrowLet me thank you now and thank you later. Thanks ![]() |
I just finished watching "Game of Thrones" and it was nice. Pls, can anyone recommend another seasonal film while i wait for the next season of GoT and TWD. |
EASTSIDAZ: I am going to ignite more fire by posting pictures of owerre to show how unbefitting it is as a state capital. Why don't you post pictures to counter the pictures that the OP has posted instead of shifting the goal post to Owerri. vintage Chino. |
bukatyne: What is the correlation between your post and mine?It beats me why it's only Nigerian and African culture that is evolving. I'm yet to see other cultures taking something from Africa. We're always the ones on the receiving side. |
pazienza: Why do we still talk of queen of England in 2013?Nice response...It's only primitive if it's done by Africans. |
Another reason for people to continue getting drunk. |
Afam4eva: The dynamics f the UCL keeps changing and teams like Basel keep getting better every year. This particular fixture is tricky but i'll put my money 0n Basel to win. The worst that can happen to them in this match is a draw. I don't see chelsea posing a challenge even in Stamford bridge.WORDS OF WISDOM |
Pls, how many skyscrapers does NYC have? This seems like a tall order and will definitely be a landmark achievement for any government in the world. |
dayokanu: So whats your evidence of them being corrupt?Following your logic, 95% of PDP members are corrupt free too since they've not been found wanting. It means the outcry by Nigerians concerning corruption in NIgeria is a farce cos only less than 1% of Nigerian politicians have been found guilty of corruption. |
dayokanu: How has the ruling party been indiferent to oppositionI meant as it relates to probing the opposition. Are you saying that all the AD and ACN governors are clean because they've not been probed by EFCC? |
dayokanu: You see where I added AD to itThe truth is that the ruling party has been indifferent to the opposition parties cos they could resolve not to probe any of their members to make them look good to the public,so probe or no probe, the average Nigerian politican is corrupt. I agree that there's a change in the SW states since ACN took over compared to their PDP and AD counterparts. Tell me what Osoba achieved in his single term as governor of Ogun state? Where did all the money go to? Same with Adefarati and Bisis Akande. |
ABSOLUTELY You try to impress someone in order to influence what the person thinks about you. It means you're insecure. |
Kairoseki77: Wouldn't it be the opposite? Not in Nigeria. You can only prosecute people you know very well. Obasanjo was able to deal with some people during his tenure cos he knew these people very and knew how to deal with them. Once a governor or ministers from the same party as the president falls out of favour with the president, it's easy to nail such governor or minister cos the people that will provide the evidence that will be used in nailing them are loyal to the powers that be. But if EFCC were to probe Aregbesola for instance, how will they get the facts that will put him behind bars? Won't it be from his fellow APC politicians in Osun? Will they be willing to expose their boss who's from their party? I don't think so. They will try as much as possible to bury any evidence. |
dayokanu: PDP has the majority of GovernorsHow many Nigerian governors have been convicted? Isn't it commonsensical that PDP will have more governors convicted since they hold majority of portfolios. Apart from Lagos and Edo, aren't other ACN governors doing their first term? It's also pertinent to know that you can only prosecute people you know very well. It's very difficult to prosecute politicians from opposition parties cos their fellow party members will always cover their behind. Btw, i'm not holding brief of PDP cos i feel theparty if full of thieves but that doesn't mean APC isn't also full of the same kind of people. |
Anybody with an average IQ should know that most Nigerian politicians irrespective of party are all the same. There are good and bad people in PDP, likewise APC. We shoulkd do away with partisan politics and support individuals irrespective of party affiliation. I'm miffed by the fact that some people want us to believe that other parties are bad while theirs are full of saints who were thrown down from heaven by God himself to serve humanity. |

Kairoseki77: The more the merrier. As long as the guy selling puff puff is from the North, I support it.In that case, we'll have puff-puff sellers representing all the geo-political zones. |
ngozievergreen: please dont forget d chin-chin lovers, we need a mod too to represent our interests in dis forum.Exactly. Puff-puff sellers and lovers should also not be left out ![]() |
Finally, Agbani is doing something. She has learned to be a hustler like Oluchi. I like the logo too. |
These guys be learners where Chidi Loyd dey. I think he should come to the house of reps next time, so that he'll show them howit's done. |
I'll give it to Project fame cos they have Iyanya and Chidinma, who are established musicians in their own rights. The only person worth mentioning that was a product of Idols is Omawunmi. I don't think Timi has done well. |
Tee girl is kind sha. This is a nice way of her dumping your bottom. This may be due to the fact that she feels you don't measure up to her standards in whatever category(i'm thinking money). |
As far as infrastructure is concerned, private schools are better but their students are not necessarily better. Most of them don't usually have the depth that public schools have and the exorbitant money they pay as tuition is just meant to pave way for a faster and more convenient learning curve. This means that they won't have problem of strikes like you have in public school. Public school students that are serious tend to be more grounded than private school students for whatever reason. |
Kairoseki77: ^^^^^^^^^^^Sebi, eyin le so pe, e fe ki gbogbo tribe Nigeria wa represented lori Nairaland moderatorship. |
Finally, this one has come her way. I've seen this lady in not less than 10 music reality shows and he goes very far but never wins anyone but finally, she has won something. Congrats Nwa WAWA. |
Warri can never carry last. Well done bro. |
sexkillz: 12 will be better. A male and female from each region. What about physically challenged people? Don't they deserve to be represented too? Let's not forget that there are no Catholic mods in the politics section. We've also don't have any muslim mod in this section too. We also need mods for all the political leanings(PDP, APC, APGA, LP etc)Not forgetting Ogboni and eckankar worshippers. It's also pertinent to note that all the mods are straight(as far as i go), so in the spirit of representation, we should get at least one GAY mod. By the time, we sum all these together, we'll be talking about over 1000 moderators in this section alone. |
